The Agniveer site has been a victim of continuous hacking attacks since last few days causing severe disruptions. While we sincerely apologize to you for our failure to thwart these effectively, this also enlightens us of the various modes of expression that may be used to demonstrate dissent. We have now significantly tightened our security systems and request all of you to express your difference in opinion through other avenues available on the site.
As a security measure, we are doing away with social networking features of the site including chat, forums, activities and groups. We shall be installing a separate FORUM solution soon for more structured discussions and to provide an opportunity to our detractors to express themselves in an ethical manner.
The subdomain sites however continue. We shall however review the sites after a few days and delete those which are not being used.
In future, if you wish to have an Agniveer site in site.agniveer.com format, please mail us using the Contact link on top citing the broad area of your blog. We shall then approve the blog on a case-to-case basis to prevent security breaches.
We also urgently need to move to a more secure server. We would be obliged if you could consider contributing to this using the Donate option on right.
We assure you to Agniveer shall be committed to truth and truth alone – without hatred, ego, frustration, negativity – regardless of what comes in our path.

agneever could u plz explain me one thing …every muslim have kuran in thr home like wise bible respectively but y we dont have vedas which iss real essence of sanatan dharma…we can not relay on epics ( which are smriti jo ki matlab ke liye likhi gayi thi for brahmins to dominate others jabki ved me untouchable ka koi sthan nahi hai)….jab hum do hazar saal se apne hi bhaiyon me atyachaar kar rahe the tab logon ko ved ke name se jagrit kyon nahi kiya gaya ….sanatan dharm ki jo khastha haalat hai vo in asuron ke karan hi hai jo vedon ko apni jagir samjh liye aur sruti ( ved ko bhul kar) smriti ( manu ke marg ko apnaya ) aur logon ko sanatan dharm ki asaliyat se door kiya …..ab to hume jagna hoga aur ghar ghar ved( shruti ) ko pahunchana hoga aur smriti ( manu smriti) ko jalana hoga………..

In 1995 I first read Satyarth Prakash and threw it away because I was a hardcore Pauranik and astrologer. But that gave me a direction for further exploration. In six years, I read virtually all major religious texts. In 2001, when my thoughts started to shape up, I came across your site. It was then, and perhaps even today, the only site to provide Satyarth Prakash, Rigvedadibhashyabhumika and Dayanand’s life sketch in such succinct format. I spent lot of time reading everything carefully and exploring many of your debates and links. That helped me become clear of my purpose and framework of life. Had you not started that site, I do not know how much more time I would have taken to reject the fraud and accept the truth.
So all i am doing is repaying the debt to you. And I shall do that till last breath.

Only the rishis can decipher the true meaning of the Vedas, so what good would the Vedas be to us when we don't have the ability of a rishi?
We have to begin with the teachings of the rishis to gradually nurture our intellect to be, first, functional, the ability to reason. This phase prevents us from being brain-washed into any of the many false doctrines of the world.
Secondly, we seek the correct knowledge (Light of Truth) which when guided by reasoning raises us to the level of a discriminating intellect (the mind alternating between right and wrong or true and false by the practice of deep contemplation or yoga), when this state is realized then you are ready for the Upanishads, Darshanas, Gita, etc. (books of deep logics and reasoning) and only after then (the realized state) the Vedas come into play.
In otherwords, we have stages to climb and if all is not achieved in this life we continue in the next birth, but it is wise to begin now, because human birth is not a priveledge, but a gift (reward).
