Agnihotra (Yajna, which is the symbol of unselfishness) and Yajnopaveet (sacred thread symbolizing the formal start of the journey to seek the truth) are the two rituals related to Shuddhi, known to me.

No it is totally different from Baptism etc. In Shuddhi, even if you dont perform any ritual, nobody can force you to do that. After all Shuddhi is purely related to one&#039;s soul and it has nothing to do with the external symbols or rituals.</description>
