குறிப்பு: இதன் ஆங்கில மூலத்தைக் காண இங்கே செல்லவும். இப்பகுதி இன்னும் சில பகுதிகள் தமிழாக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டு வழங்கப் படுகின்றன. வெறும் மொழிபெயர்ப்பாக மட்டும் இல்லாமல் ஞானபூமி தளத்தின் அடிநாதத்தை ஒட்டியும் வேத தர்மத்தின் கோட்பாடுகளை ஒட்டியுமே இவை சித்தரிக்கப் படுகின்றன. எக்காரணம் கொண்டும் பிற மதங்களைத் தூற்றுவதோ, அவற்றைப் பின்பற்றுபவர்களை தாழ்த்துவதோ இங்கு செய்யப்படவில்லை. மறுமொழியின் வாயிலாகவும் அவை வரவேற்கப்படமாட்டா. வேதங்களின் மேன்மையையும் அவற்றை நாம் உணர்வது எத்துணை இன்றியமையாயது என்பதை மட்டுமே பறைசாற்றும் ஒரு மிகச்சிறிய முயற்சியே இஃது.

வேதங்கள் உலகிலுள்ளோர் அனைவரும் அக ஒளி அல்லது ஞானமடைவது எப்படி என்று வழி காட்டுகிறது. நாம் ரிக், யஜுர், சாம மற்றும் அதர்வண என்னும் நான்கு (இவை நான்கு மட்டுமே வேதங்கள் எனப்படும்). வேதங்களை ஏன் அனைவரும் தெரிந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்பதைப் பார்ப்பதற்கு முன் அக ஒளியை நமக்களிக்க அக்னியை வணங்குவோம். அக்னி என்பது நெருப்பு என்பதைக் குறிப்பதோடல்லாமல் ஞானத்தை தருவது என்றும் சமஸ்க்ருத மொழியில் வழங்கப்படும். நாம் வேதங்களை கற்றுணர வேண்டும் என்ற சுபமான நினைவுடன் இதைத் தொடங்குவதால் மங்கல அடையாளத்தின் ஒன்றான அக்னியை வணங்கித் தொடங்குவோம். அக்னிக்கு எரிவதற்கு எதைத் தருவது? வாஸ்தவத்தில் மன அழுக்கினை நம்முள் இருக்கும் அக்னிக்குத் தாரை வார்த்து விட்டோமானால் நாமே ஞானமயமாகி விடுவோமல்லவா? எனவே வேதங்களைப் பற்றி தெரிந்து கொள்வதற்கு முன் பொய், புனைச்சுருட்டு போன்றவற்றினால் மெருகூட்டப் பட்ட ஒரு சில கதைகளை அக்னிக்குத் தாரை வார்த்து விடுவோம் வாருங்கள்.
இதில் முதலாவதாக நம் நாட்டு மக்களிடையே, குறிப்பாக தமிழ்நாட்டினரிடையே ஓர் அடிப்படை உண்மையை உணராமல் செய்து, அவர்களை மதிமயக்கியதில் முக்கியமானதும், புரட்டிலேயே அதி உன்னதப் புரட்டான வந்தேறிகள் என்று தூற்றப்பட்ட ஆரியர்களின் ஆதிக்கம் பற்றிய அற்புதமான கட்டுக்கதை தான் நாம் அக்னிக்குத் தரும் முதல் ஹவிஸ்.
ஆங்கிலத்தில் ஆரியன் இன்வேஷன் தியரி (Aryan Invasion Theory) என்று பெரிதும் அழைக்கப்பட்டுப் பின் அத்தியரி திரிந்து, அறிவியலாளர்கள், விஞ்ஞானிகள், ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்கள், வரலாற்று ஆய்வாளர்கள் என அனைவராலும் ஊசிப் போன கதை என்றான பின் இப்போது வசதிக்கேற்ப இண்டோ-ஆரியன் மைக்ரேஷன் (Indo-Aryan Migration) என்ற புதுப் பெயர் சூட்டி இப்புரட்டினை பரப்பிய, பரப்பும் பெருமை வெளிநாட்டவர்களுக்கு முதுகு தண்டு வளையும் வண்ணம் கூழைக் கும்பிடு போடும் ஒரு சில வரலாற்று ஆய்வாளர்கள் மற்றும் அரசியல்வாதிகளைச் சாரும்.
இப்பதிவில் 1) வேத சம்ஹிதைகள் மற்றும் சங்ககால தமிழ் இலக்கியங்கள் இவற்றில் காணப்படும் சார்பினைக் காட்டி அதன் மூலம் மேற்கூறிய புரட்டானது எப்படி கட்டுக்கதை என்று நிரூபணமாகிறதென்றும் 2) எப்படி சங்கம் வைத்துத் தமிழ் வளர்த்த அழகான தென்மதுரையிலும் தற்போது புறத்தே வற்றினாலும் நம் அகத்தேயும் புராண சாஸ்திரங்களிலும் வாழ்ந்து வரும் சரஸ்வதி நதி தீரத்திலிருந்தவர்களின் வழிபாட்டு முறையில், தெய்வங்களில் காணப்படும் ஒற்றுமையும் தொடர்புடையதாய் இருப்பதைக் காணலாம். இதில் தமிழை திராவிட மொழிகளின் பிரதிநிதியாகத் தேர்வு செய்தமைக்குக் காரணம் கல் தோன்றி மண் தோன்றா காலத்தினின்றும் முன் தோன்றிய தமிழ் மொழியின் பழமையும் தொன்மையும் வேதத்திற்கும் சமஸ்க்ருதத்திற்கும் ஒப்பானதல்லவா? மேலும் மற்றைய மூன்று தென்னிந்திய மாநிலங்களைப் போலல்லாமல் தமிழ்நாட்டில் மட்டுமே இந்த ஆரிய-திராவிட பிரிவு என்பது வெளிப்படையாகவும் அரசியல் ரீதியாகவும் பேசப்படுகிறது.
ஆரிய – திராவிடப் பிரிவு
மானுடத்தின் ஒப்பற்ற மற்றும் மிக முதலானதுமான ரிக் வேதத்தில் ஒரு கடுகளவிற்குக் கூட வெளியிலிருந்து ஆதிக்கம் (invasion) அல்லது குடிபெயர்தல் (இடமாறுதல்) என்பதோ நடந்ததாக ஒரு ஆதாரமோ அல்லது குறிப்போ காணப்படவில்லை. வேத கால ரிஷிகளோ பாரதத்திற்குள் வேறெங்கிலும் இருந்தோ நுழைந்ததாய்க் கூறவில்லை. ஆனால் இந்திய ஆய்வாளர்களும் (Indologists) வாதிடுபவர்களும் இதே ரிக் வேதத்தையே தங்கள் பொய்க் கூற்றினை மெய்யாக்க உபயோகப் படுத்துகிறார்கள்.
இதற்கு இவர்கள் மேற்கோள் காட்டும் ரிக் வேதத்தில் ஆங்கிரஸ பரம்பரையில் வந்த ரிஷிகள் தஸ்யுக்களை வெல்வதற்காக இந்திரனை ஆவாஹனம் செய்த கதையைக் கூறி அப்படிப் போர் செய்ய வந்தவர்கள் ஆரியர்கள் என்றும் அவர்களால் விரட்டப்பட்ட மண்ணின் மைந்தர்கள் திராவிடர்கள் என்றும் அவிழ்த்து விட்டனர். இதில் தஸ்யுக்கள் யார் என்பதைப் பற்றிய ஒரு அழகான விவரிப்பை இங்கு காணுங்கள்.
இப்படி அவிழ்த்து விடப்பட்ட மூட்டையை அவர்கள் முதுகிலேயே மறுபடி ஏற்றுவதற்கு முன்னால் சிலவற்றைப் பார்த்து விடுவோம்.
திராவிட என்பது தமிழ் வார்த்தை அல்ல. இதன் சமஸ்க்ருத மூல வார்த்தை “திரவ” ஆகும், நீர் போன்ற என்ற பொருள் படும். இதில் முக்கியமாக, சங்க இலக்கியங்களில் திராவிடன், திராவிட என்ற சொல் எங்கும் கூறப்பட்டதாய்த் தெரியவில்லை. ஆதி சங்கரர் செளந்தர்ய லஹரி 75ஆவது கவியில் திருஞான சம்பந்தரைக் குறித்து இவ்வார்த்தையைப் பிரயோகிக்கிறார் (இது தன்னைத் தானே குறிக்க அவர் உபயோகித்த சொல் என்றும் கூறுவர்):

தமிழ்ச் சங்க இலக்கியங்கள் காலம், இறையாண்மை, நிகழ்வுகள், போர், தொழில், இயற்கை சீற்றங்கள் போன்ற பல நிகழ்வுகளின் சந்தேகத்திற்கிடமில்லாத் தொகுப்பாகும். ஆர்யர்கள் படையெடுப்பின் மூலம் திராவிடர்களை விந்திய மலையின் தெற்கே தள்ளியிருப்பின், அவர்களில் பலரைக் கொன்றிருப்பின், நிச்சயமாகத் தமிழ் இலக்கியங்களில் இத்தகைய கொடுஞ்செயல்கள் குறித்த பாடல்கள் இடம் பெற்றிருக்கும்.
மேலும் இலக்கியங்கள் திராவிட என்ற சொல்லையே கி.பி 9ஆம் நுற்றாண்டில் அதுவும் மொழியாய்வில் பயன்படுத்தியிருக்கின்றனர். சேந்தன் திவாகரம் (திவாகர முனிவர்) திராவிடம் என்ற சொல்லைத் தமிழ் என்று குறிக்க பயன்படுத்தியிருக்கிறார்.
ஆரிய-திராவிடப் பிரிவு ஒரு கட்டுக்கதை என்பதும் வரலாற்று ஆதாரம் எதுவும் இல்லாதது என்று அறிய மேற்கூறிய உதாரணமே போதுமானது. 19ஆம் நூற்றாண்டில் தான் ராபர்ட் கால்டுவெல் என்பவர் க்றிஸ்துவ மதத்தைப் பரப்ப இங்கு வந்து “திராவிடன்” என்ற வார்த்தையை பயன்படுத்தினார். பின்னர் இச்சொல் அரசியல் சாயம் பூசிக்கொண்டது. இந்தக் கதைக்கு உயிரூட்டி அதை அப்படியே வைத்திருந்தால் தான் தங்கள் கல்லா நிறையும் என்பதை நன்கு உணர்ந்தவராயினர் அரசியல் தலைவர்கள்.

சென்ற பதிவில் நாம் எப்படி ஒரு கட்டுக்கதை உருவகப்படுத்தப் பட்டது என்பதைப் பார்த்தோம். இனி இக்கதை எப்படி வெறுங்கதை என்று நிரூபணமாகிறதென்பதைப் பார்ப்போம்.
ரிக் வேதத்தில் ஆதாரமிருப்பதாகச் சொல்லப்படும் புரளி
இனி நாம் ஆரிய ஆதிக்கம் பற்றி முழக்கமிடும் இந்திய ஆய்வாளர்கள் எப்படி ஆரியர்கள் மண்ணின் சொந்தக்காரர்களாகிய தஸ்யுக்களை அழித்தார்கள் என்று சொல்கிறார்கள் என்பதையும் சில கேள்விகளையும் பார்ப்போம். இவர்கள் ரிக் வேதம் 10/48 ஐ சுட்டிக் காட்டுகிறார்கள். இதில் இந்திரன் தஸ்யுக்களையும் அவர்களின் பிரிவுகளையும் தன் பராக்கிரமத்தால் அழித்தும், அவர்தம் செல்வங்களை அபகரித்தும், தன்னுடன் இருப்பவர்கள் வீழ்வதில்லை என்று சொல்வதாகவும் உள்ளது. ஆனால் இவர்கள் வசதியாக மறப்பதும் அல்லது புரிந்து கொள்ள இயலாமலிருப்பதும் என்னவென்றால் தாஸ்யுக்கள் மற்றும் அவர்தம் பிரிவுகளின் உருவகத்தை. சரி, தாஸ்யுக்கள் யார்?
ரிக் வேதம் 1/33/1-10 ஐக் காண்கையில் நமக்குத் தெளிவாகப் புரிவது என்னவென்றால் இந்திரன் அபகரிப்பதாய் சொல்லப்படும் செல்வம் “ஞானம் அல்லது அறிவு” என்பதாம்.
இந்த ரிக் வேத வரிகள் “கவம் கேதம் பரம் அவர்ஜதே நா” என்று முடிகிறது. அதாவது ஒளிவீசக்கூடிய பசுக்களின் மிகவுயர்ந்த ஞானம் என்பதாகும். அந்த முழு வாக்கியத்தின் அர்த்தமாவது “வாருங்கள், நாம் இந்திரனிடம் பசுக்களைக் கேட்போம். அவனே இந்த எண்ணத்தை நம்மில் அதிகரிக்கிறான். நமக்காக ஒளிவீசக்கூடிய பசுக்களின் மிகவுயர்ந்த ஞானத்தை நமக்குத் தருகிறான்” என்று பொருள் படும்.
முதலில் ஒன்றைப் புரிந்து கொள்வோம். யக்ஞங்கள், ஹோமங்கள் முதலியனவற்றை செய்பவர்களை யஜ்யு என்றும் இவை யாருக்காக அர்ப்பணம் செய்யப்படுகிறதோ அவர்கள் யஜதா என்றும் சொல்வர். ஆனால் தஸ்யுக்களின் கொள்கை யஜ்யு, சுக்ரதுக்களின் கொள்கைகளுக்கு முற்றிலும் மாறுபட்டவை. தஸ்யுக்களை அயஜ்யு (யஜ்யுவிற்கு எதிர்மாறான) என்றும் சொல்வர். அஜித் என்றால் அ+ஜித், அதாவது ஜெயிக்க முடியாத என்ற பொருள் படுவது போல. இதில் சுவாரஸ்யமான விஷயம் என்னவென்றால் ஒரு அயஜ்யு சுக்ரதுக்களை (தெய்வீக சப்தத்தைப் உணர்ந்து பாடுபவர்கள் என்று ஒருவாறாகப் பொருள் கொள்ளலாம்) முற்றிலும் வெறுப்பவர். அவர்தம் இத்தகைய குணம் ப்ரம்ஹத்விஷ் என்றழைக்கப்படுகிறது. அதாவது பரமாத்மாவைப் பற்றிய எண்ணமில்லாதவன் என்று பொருள். த்வேஷம் என்பது த்விஷ் என்ற பதத்திலிருந்து உருவானது.
முக்கியமாக, அயஜ்யு ஓர் அனாசன் (வாய் என்பதில்லாதவன்) என்றும் அமான்யமன (மனம், புத்தி போன்றவைகளில்லாத) என்றும் வழங்கப்படுகிறார். வேதம் முழுமைக்கும் தஸ்யுக்கள் பசுக்களை (நாம் மாடு என்றழைக்கும் பசுவைக் குறிப்பதல்ல, அறிவை ஞானத்தைக் குறிப்பது) கைப்பற்றியிருப்பதாயும் இவைகளை மனிதர்கள் இந்திரனின் உதவியுடன் கைக்கொள்வதாயும் வருகிறது. இன்னோரிடத்தில் பாணிகள் (தஸ்யுக்களில் ஒரு பிரிவு) இப்பசுக்களைத் திருடி ஒரு குகையில் வைத்து விடுவதாயும் இந்திரன் என்ற ஞானத்தினால் இவ்வொளி வீசும் பசுக்கள் மீட்கப்படுவதாயும் வருகிறது. ரிக் வேதம் 6/51/14 இந்திரனிடம் பாணிக்களை அழிக்குமாறும் அவர்களை ஓநாய்களுக்கும் ஒப்பிடுகிறது.
இந்திரனானவன் இந்திய ஆய்வாளர்கள் கற்பனையில் தஸ்யுக்களை அழித்து இன்னும் என்னென்னவற்றை வென்றான் என்று பார்க்கலாம்.
ரிக் வேதம் 3/34/7-10
7 வீரர்களின் இறைவன், மக்களை ஆளும் இந்திரன் கடவுளர்களுக்கு வலிமையினாலும் போரினாலும் விடுதலையளித்தான். ஞானமடைந்தவர்கள் விவாஸ்வனின் இருப்பிடத்தில் அவனின் இத்தீரச்செயல்களைப் பாடிப் புகழ்வர்.
8 அற்புதமான, வெற்றியாளன், வெற்றியைத் தருபவன், ஒளியையும் பரம்பொருள் போன்ற தண்ணீரை வென்றவன், இப்பரந்த பூமியையும் சுவர்க்கத்தையும் வென்றவன் – இந்திரன் அவனைப் பக்தியில் காதலுற்றோர் புகழ்வர்
9 சூரியனையும் குதிரைகளையும் தன்னகத்தே கொண்டவன், பலருக்கும் உணவூட்டும் பசுவை வென்றான். தங்கப் புதையலை வென்றான்; தஸ்யுக்களைத் தகர்த்தான்; ஆரியர்களின் நிறங்களைக் காத்தான்.

தஸ்யுக்கள் மனிதர்களாயும், ஆரியரில்லாதவர்களாயும் இருப்பார்களேயானால், இந்திரன் எதற்காக பகலையும் காற்றின் நடுப்பகுதியையும் சாதாரண மனிதர்களிடத்திலிருந்து கவர வேண்டும்?
தஸ்யுக்களைப் பற்றி ரிக் வேதத்தில் தொடர்கிறது. இந்திரன் அவர்களை சுவர்க்கத்திலிருந்தும் பூமியிலிருந்தும் தன் வஜ்ராயுதத்தால் துரத்தியடிக்கிறான். அவன் பராக்கிரமம் அதிகரிக்க அதிகரிக்க தஸ்யுக்களால் அவனறியாமல் எங்கும் ஓடி ஒளிய முடியாமல் போகிறது. இந்திரன் சூரியனை மீட்க, அவன் உதயமாகி ஒளிபொருந்திய பசுக்களை அடைத்து வைத்திருந்த குகையை ஒளிமிக்கதாக்குகிறான்.
மேற்கூறியவற்றில் தஸ்யுக்கள் இந்திரனால் அழிக்கப்பட்ட திராவிடர்கள் என்ற புளுகு மூட்டைக்கு நேரெதிராக இருப்பதோடல்லாமல் முற்றிலும் வேறுபட்டதாய் இருக்கிறது.
ஏனெனில் திராவிடர்கள் பேச முடிபவர்கள், புத்திசாலிகள் மற்றும் அவர்களுக்கு மூக்கு இருக்கிறது 
சங்க கால இலக்கியங்களில் இருக்கும் சான்றுகள்
வாருங்கள், நாம் இனி தமிழ்நாட்டிற்குச் சென்று தமிழர் என்பவர் ஆரியர் என்பவரிடமிருந்து முற்றிலும் வேறுபட்டவரா என்றும் ஆரியர்களால் அவர்கள் பெருந்தொல்லைக்கு ஆளானவர்களா என்றும் பார்க்கலாம்.
சங்க கால இலக்கியம் என்பது மிக மிக விசாலமானதாகையால் ஒரு சில முக்கியமான தொகுப்புகளிருந்து திராவிடர்கள் எதை, யாரை வணங்கினார்கள் என்று பார்க்கலாம். சங்க காலம் நிலப்பரப்பை குறிஞ்சி (மலை மற்றும் மலை சார்ந்த), முல்லை (வனம் மற்றும் வனம் சார்ந்த), மருதம் (வயல் மற்றும் வயல் சார்ந்த) நெய்தல் (கடல் மற்றும் கடல் சார்ந்த) மற்றும் பாலை (காடாகவுமில்லாமல் மலையாகவும் இல்லாமல் இரண்டும் கலந்து மயங்கி வெப்ப மிகுதியால் திரிந்த சுரமும் சுரம் சார்ந்த இடமும் பாலை நிலமாகும்) எனப் பிரிப்பதை நாம் அறிவோம்.
தொல்காப்பியம் இந்நிலப்பரப்பிற்கு அதிபதியான கடவுளர்களாகக் குறிப்பவை:
முல்லை – திருமால் (விஷ்ணு)
குறிஞ்சி – முருகன் (கார்த்திகேயன் அல்ல்து ஸ்கந்தன்)
மருதம் – இந்திரன்
நெய்தல் – வருணன்
பாலை – கொற்றவை (சக்தி)
மற்றொரு முக்கிய சங்க இலக்கியமான புறநானூறு சிவபெருமான் திரிபுரமெரித்ததைச் சொல்கிறது. இதில் சிவபிரான் மஹா மேரு மலையை வில்லாகத் தன் கையிலெடுத்ததையும் ஒரே அம்பினால் முப்புரங்களையும் தீக்கரையாக்கியதையும் சொல்கிறது. புறநானூற்றிலும் அகநானூற்றிலும் சிவகுமாரன் கந்தனாகிய குமரக்கடவுள் நன்கு அடிக்கடி காணக்கிடைக்கிறார்.
இவை நம்மை வேதங்களின் அக்னி, கார்த்திகேயனுடன் நன்கு இணைக்கிறது. இதில் இன்னும் சிலர் சிவபெருமானை திராவிடக் கடவுளாக மட்டும் காட்ட விழைகின்றனர். நல்லவேளை “தென்னாடுடைய சிவனே போற்றி, எந்நாட்டவர்க்கும் இறைவா போற்றி” என்ற முழுப் பதம் நமக்குத் தெரியும். இதில் வேதங்களில் சொல்லப்படும் ருத்ரரை சிவனாகப் பாவிப்பதுமுண்டு.
வேதங்களில் ரிக் வேததிலோ அல்லது யஜுர் வேதத்தில் ருத்ரம்/சமகத்திலோ நன்கு நோக்கினோமானால், ருத்ரரின் ஒரு சில பொதுவான குணங்களை எளிதாகக் காணலாம். இதில் சிவன் என்பவர் ருத்ரர்களின் ஒரு அம்சமே என்பது ருத்ரம் / சமகத்தில் சொல்லியிருப்பது. இதில் ருத்ரர் என்பது சிவன் என்பதாய் மாற்றமடைந்தாலும், வேதங்களில் சொல்லியிருக்கக் கூடிய சிவன் / ருத்ரனும் பெரிய புராணத்தில் கூறியிருக்கும் சிவனும் ஒன்றே.
திருவண்ணாமலை, சிதம்பரம் இவற்றில் தேவாரம் ஓதுவதோடு ருத்ரம் / சமகத்தையும் ஓதுவார்கள், தமிழரின் சிவனும் வேத புராணங்களில் சொல்லப்படும் சிவனும் ஒன்றே என்பதை இது நமக்குக் காட்டுகிறது.
அனைத்திற்கும் மேலாக, யஜுர் வேதத்திலிருக்கும் தைத்ரிய சம்ஹிதை என்பது தமிழ்நாடு, கர்நாடகம் மற்றும் ஆந்திரத்தில் இன்றும் வாழும் ஒரு மரபாகும்.

There are enough answers in the Vedas for the questions posted by Thathacharya. From what we have seen, his rantings are primarily based on the “ritualistic” part of Hinduism and he claims that the religion itself is a flaw. We haven’t got a chance to take a good look at his post, but we are sure it will be a waste of time.
For instance, in this post here, http://thathachariyar.blogspot.in/2011/04/blog-post.html, he claims that there was immoral relationship between Krishna and Narada and goes on showing examples from various verses. But the calender system was much ahead of Krishna’s time and is clearly documented. We say that the Vedas are flawless but the Puranas contain so much inclusions and what not! So the basic argument gets beaten up right there.
If you want to read authentic Vedas and their translations, continue to buy them here in Agniveer. But if you want porn stories in Tamil, you may visit the blog you mentioned. Do not waste your time here.

The weatern influence of slavery is still pervading in South India who have not to bear the burnt of the foreigner invaders which led the formation of Pakistan being carved out of Hindustan. In order to justify that the foreigner from Europe are not only foreigners , the residents of North India were too foreigner because the theory of Aryan invasion earlier makes the British to rule over India (Hindustan) that is why all the libraries of the world are filled with such a stuff of books on this subject. Since the Tamilians during the last two centuries were more in touch with the western rulers and specially french and British who had fought on indian soil recruiting peple speaking Tamil as their sepoys. Hence it is not the present generation Tamils who are behaving differently and asking for a Tamil pradesh as a separate country. But they have failed miserably in Sri Lanka where Rajapaksey had eradicated the LTTE. Tamil people are better Indian highly educated they are supposed to write the Hindu History again which will have to different from the foreign influence that neither the original Indians did not belong to the land of Hindustan nor they who came from Europe . They stated that we are foreigners and you were also came form siberia or other parts of the world being Aryans hence you cannot let us go. Thistheory worked well so they ruled over us for about 200 years firstly as East India Company and thereafter direct under the Victoria the Queen. Hindi speaking people should teach south indian lanuages to their childrenn to be nearer to them. Sanskrit should have to be revived to bind the family otherwise this is not a happy position.

People from South India, especially Tamil Nadu are made to believe this invasion theory by the evil foreign forces. We, Tamilians of current trend has pretty less knowledge about all such stuffs.
But, they also have very novice knowledge about Sanatan Dharma, although they call themselves as “Hindus”. This is so different from North India, I believe. You will hardly find the holy text Gita in any of the homes is South India. Then how they will know about universal dharma?!!!
In South, if someone says read Gita, they are laughing!!! But still they call themselves as “Hindus”!! If someone says about Self-Realization, they think this is a Foreign language!! If someone says to do meditation, they do not know the real meaning of it!!! They simply think Yoga is a thing that controls Diabetis, BP, Asthma and many of them do not know the origin of it and the real need for it !!!
I recommend people of South to learn about the very Ancient & Sophisticated religion in the world “Hinduism” . If I use the term Sanatan Dharma instead of Hinduism, majority of people from south will not understand what is it!!! This is the knowledge they have about their own religion!!!
I agree with what you say, esp the dravidian politicians have managed to exploit the people and create their own ways just so they may profit. Also people, instead of using reason to make decisions they use emotions (although this applies to humans in general) and follow people blindly over reacting and quickly pushing away valuable things.
However I also feel your comment kind of portrays the entire south in a bad way esp tamil nadu. Please dont forget, the south has contributed greatly to sanatana dharma, They invented the grantha script, a lot of the old scriptures are either in Sanskrit or tamil esp in the case of Agamas, not to forget, the starting of bhakti yoga movement etc,which made sure hinduism stay strong, not forgetting the entire Siddha tradition.
Anyway at present there is a problem, however generalising it as entire south south is a little unfair, do you believe in north these people don’t exist? I’m not discriminating against north now, the point is misunderstandings and idiocracy exist everywhere They use different means to divide and create problems. I have many north Indian friends who say, their family feels or they them selves feel that reading vedas, practicing yoga and meditations are for old people or sanyasi people only.

PS. While Bhagavad Gita is a great book, and an excellent and probably the best summary and commentary on Upanishads and a way of life. Its not an authority text. Infact non of the Santana Dharma texts claim to be. So you don’t have to read these or follow this to call your self a ‘hindu’. Even those who believe in samkhya philosophy known as Nastika philosophy can call them selves hindu, such is the open mindedness of our ancestors. This whole idea of giving a supreme importance to a text and figures is unfortunately an imported one.
Mahasrhi Kapil, the author of Samkhya Darshan was a great Rishi. He was not an atheist.
Geeta is almost 5000 years old book – highly adulterated by various Pandits and scholars from time to time.
It contains so many good lessons which are as per the Vedas, but most of its readers are trapped in to anti-Vedic notion of incarnation and idolatry Philosophy wise Geeta presents admixture of all types of “ism”s.

They have joined hands with world in demolishing our motherland and our religion. The current Srilanka issue is a big example. One question though. everyone talks about the rich India culture, tradition etc etc.. But 100 years ago there was No India, No Hindusthan! If not fot the British or the missionaries I would have been in the remote area of one of the states where I would have been uneducated, and under the artocities of the so called upper castes!

Please read history. Hindustan existed well before 100 years, just that the name was even beautiful. It was called Bharata Varsha. Not just 100 years, but it existed thousands of years backwards. Just because the yardstick we have could not measure beyond a point, we shouldn’t nullify the existence itself. Help yourself with the great historic (unbiased) and cultural heritage of India. READ THE VEDAS. What 100 years are you talking about?! If you feel the Britishers have done good to you, then it clearly shows how the masses of India has been made ignorant. If there was no country called India 100 years ago then why did Columbus and Vasco da Gama sailed out to find a sea route to India during 1490 – 1500? Why were the native Americans called “Red Indians” and not “Red Americans”?

The hindu culture is on decline.The hindu society is adopting the western culture which is dangerous to the society.The mission schools do not allow the hindu students to wear bangles or put a bindi on their forehead.Alcoholism and smoking has also become common among college going girls in metro cities.Earlier we had grandparents who used to teach their grandchildren shlokas and hindu scripture.We have lost all this.I am happy that Agniveer is doing a faboulous work for the hindu society.Now we should have Gurukool to educate our children the hindu way of life.

Oh yes you can! But have you undergone those rigorous training they do in learning the Vedas as early as they are 3 or 4 years young? Have you got the inclination to first study the Vedas, contemplate on them before trying to do the work of a priest and passing such lousy comments? Most importantly, have you worshiped God in the temple like the Bhaktha-Nandanar did?
