Ashamed to be Indian

This entry is part [part not set] of 5 in the series Ashamed

My head hangs in shame that I am part of such a savage society. That such beasts live in my society and yet I feel so proud of this society.

“Proud to be Indian!”

“Dilli meri jaan”

“Jai Mata Di”

For years I have been seeking my inspiration from these slogans. But this one stray incident has changed my framework upside down. Simply because this was not at all a stray case. It brought our harsh realities bluntly and loudly on our face close to our deaf ears.

Very honestly, now I feel ‘Ashamed to be Indian’. I am still more ashamed that I live in Delhi. And yet more ashamed that people in this part of the world glorify woman as nowhere else in the world.

Mother Vaishno temple is our number one pilgrim spot. Every other day there is a Bhagwati Jaagaran (keeping awake for nights to glorify goddess) and Mata ki Chowki (Motherly feast). And then twice a year we shun all liquor, meat, vices for ten days to please motherly woman. We call it Navaratra where we ‘humbly’ respect, feed and gift at least 11 or 21 Kanyas (unmarried girls) with devotion to re-emphasize that we respect woman of all ages in same manner as we respect our mother.

But the moment we see a vulnerable woman, we show our true colors. All that devotion to mother in each woman is over like a fantasy film. And in reality, we turn savages. Now our intellectual and physical faculties are in full throttle to feed our lust. Its only fear of prosecution that is able to control the beast within us. We would ogle if thats all we can do in public. Or push or touch them in crowd as if it happened by mistake. Scan each woman passing by as if we are appointed to showcase our shamelessness. If we get more opportunities, we would eve-tease. And when even that does not suffice our ever-growing lust, we would turn the capital of country into a rape capital.

And this animal within us is a great commercial opportunity as well. Companies, media, entertainment – all would thrive primarily on one single way of promotion – lust appeal. Motivate each man to give more fire to his lust and motivate each woman to become objects of this lust. The glam-girls and celebrities have lot to earn from this. But in process, they make every common woman in this country of beasts so much vulnerable. And when a shameful incident like this happen, the same commercial agents who thrive on feeding animal-instinct would innocently worry about safety of woman and morality. They would say, “Have lust, but only to that extent that you buy my product or watch my movie!”

It seems like a hogwash everywhere. Those with commercial interests have found a convenient shameless way to justify their misdeeds. And the common society comprising you and me have found an easy way to be lustful without feeling guilty. Simply worship the same womanhood whom you lust in reality as an ‘imaginary goddess’ for few moments in a different form.

And thus we don’t teach our child from very childhood how and why to respect woman. We just would want him to respect his own mother. We would never take it seriously when our child starts showing the first signs of shameless behaviour. Instead we would pride that our laadla beta is becoming so smart. His arrogance is symbol of manliness. His corrupt ways are symbols of his sharpness.

Respect women if you are not impotent

No wonder we are a most corrupt society. We thrive on duplicity. The whole movement against corruption is fundamentally flawed. Because financial corruption is most minor form of corruption. We spend every moment and every aspect of our life drenched in corruption. When we cannot even look at 50% of our population (aka women) without a corrupt thought, how one expects the same breed of criminals to nurture most upright pure-hearted politicians and officials!

We have the political system and political leaders we rightly deserve. We have the corruption and poverty that we deserve. And we have the miseries and failures and frustrations that we deserve much more.

Manu Smriti says that a society that cannot respect women and give them complete liberty is bound to be a haven of scoundrels   where only misfortune abounds.

Vedas say that one who exploits women should be hung upside down and severely thrashed. They further say that to be true humans, we should be sane enough to respect the glory in all women – young or old – like mother.

It is high-time we stop paying lip-service to cause of woman by claiming that our culture regards them as goddess. Let us instead start respecting them as humans first. Let goddess-ization of woman not be a ploy to remove guilt from our lust-driven minds.

Let all who claim to be devotees of Mother Goddess – Vaishno Mata, Durga, Kali, Jhandewalan, Ambe, Jagadambe, Shakti – first come down to the planet earth that we live in, to our country whom we call Bharat ‘Mata’ and to rape-capitals like Delhi. And take concrete actions to make this country a safe place for all woman of all ages at all locations at all hours of day and night instead of wasting time, money and energy in organizing chowkis, jagarans and offering prasads. The crude truth is that such events themselves become hotspots for eve-teasing and ogling at women.

Western countries are much more civilized than us. That is why they are more prosperous. Woman there work till late at night, on most remote toll roads, travel alone and yet per capita crime against woman is much lower. They don’t need to have separate seats and compartments for women in buses and trains because women don’t have to fear facing monsters everywhere around.

If indeed we claim to be proud of India or Delhi or our culture, let us first prove by examples. Let us list out what concrete steps we as Devi-Bhakts and Mata-Bhakts are taking to ensure that India is safest destination for any woman.

Specially Delhi/ NCR and entire associated belt should reform itself. It has become a haven of scoundrels full of brazen arrogance and impoliteness. As if corruption and barbarism flows in their veins instead of blood. We have made female foeticide a part of our family traditions and hence no wonder we top in woman-assault and rape cases. Perhaps the politico-economic basis of this region thrives on corruption, cheating, deceiving, selfishness due to status of being national capital. And that is why scam-tainted Delhi is among the most hated and indisciplined cities of the world. No wonder, it is a hell for any woman who wants to live freely and gracefully.

When Delhi Metro came, it gave opportunity for many a perverts to eve-tease women in compartments and stations. Nowhere else in the world, you are forced to deploy security forces at each gate to teach humans how to get inside and outside a train. Things reached such extremes that they had to create separate ladies compartment. But then psychopaths would forcefully enter ladies compartment as well. It is only fear of prosecution that could control the beasts within us. Just a week ago, I had to throw out a couple of animals out of Metro because they could not resist leering and passing remarks on fellow women passengers.

If we really worship Devi, then we should stop wasting money in rituals and instead invest the same in changing the reality of our society. Let us take a stand that we shall allow no oppression on woman. Let us invest in creating awareness, providing security to women, exposing anti-woman elements and taking them to task, and ensuring that no one in our own families ever dares to denigrate a woman even in thoughts.

Any ritual, especially in name of religion is a complete waste if it does not directly and proactively lead to refinement of character and sanskars. In fact it becomes guilty of perpetrating such crimes in society by trying to cover them up in false garbs.

Let even a slightest lewd sight, remark or gesture towards a woman be the most severe offense that we personally take. Let us not glorify glamor quotient of celebrities and become addicts of feeding our lust. If we cannot help eradicating our lust, then better we accept that we are society of savages and stop all this fake drama of bhakti and patriotism.

Agniveer demands harshest punishment for crimes against women. Rape should have one single punishment – death after brutal torture. And even any other less severe form of crime including ogling, suggestive gestures, lewd remarks etc should have severe punishments including public disgrace so that no one dares even think of them.

For ages, we have thrived on denigration of women. And we have already found a way to escape guilt through fake religious dramas in glory of woman. So I don’t know how long will it take to transform animals like us into humans. But till that happens, fear is the greatest tool to tame the beasts.

Let all enlightened ones among us, whose hormones find excitement in noble selfless spiritual intellectual pursuits instead of getting kick from stench of lust, should come to front, become proactive and work concretely to justify our patriotism and pride for culture, instead of just hollow slogans of pride.

Till that happens, till India becomes safest place for women, till Delhi/NCR obtains best statistics on respect for women

Agniveer will no more display any fake pride for its current society and people.

Yes, Agniveer is proud of its Vedic roots that consider woman as fountainhead of all goodness in society.

Yes, Agniveer is proud that it is progeny of Shivaji and Pratap for whom even women of enemies’ family were also mothers.

Yes, Agniveer is proud that it has imbibed the values that respects every single woman of every region, religion or age as equivalent to own mother.

Yes, Agniveer is proud that it hates nothing as much as it hates disrespect towards woman or being neutral to disrespect against woman.

Yes, Agniveer is proud that it completely and boldly rejects as crap and dissociates from all texts, all scriptures, all rituals, all cultures, all traditions, all mindsets , all societies, all entertainment that even remotely consider women as inferior or commoditizes them in any manner.

And hence, Agniveer is ashamed that Agniveer is part of a society that keeps women uneducated, mints money on basis of lust towards women and does not inculcate values of respect and equality for women.

Agniveer promises to be totally committed to destroying this disrespect for women from very roots. It would go to any extent and adopt any means whatsoever to preserve, nurture and strengthen the cause of ‘respect for woman’ until it is able to change this reality and remove this slur from its head.

Till then Agniveer is proud of India but ashamed to be Indian.

    • SPREAD VEDAS EDUCATION IN ITS POSITIVE MANNER AND SEARCH TRUTH YOUR TALK MUST BE WITH REFERENCE TO THE CONTEXT. I HOPE THE FABRICATED HINDUISM SHOULD STOP AND START VEDAS PRACTICE WHICH LEADS TO THE PEOPLE TOWARDS OUR REAL GOAL AND REAL ALLAH ( GOD, ISHVER, BHAGVAN).

    • Laws alone are not enough to deter people from committing crime. They must also have an inner moral compass. This compass is a product of human evolution.

Our morality, like our intelligence, is a function of our brain. How do you make people smarter? You need a good mind and good training. If the brain is physically defective, for example, if a person has Down syndrome or has some other form of learning disability, it is not easy for that person to become an Einstein. He may become a prodigy in music or other arts, but his IQ will be low.

The next factor is training. If Einstein had been born in an Islamic country where instead of science books, which he was given at the age of ten, he was given the Quran, he would have become great* mullah.

You may compare the brain to a computer: both the hardware and the software must work property for the computer to do its work.

Morality works in much the same way as intelligence does. You need both a healthy mind and a good moral education to develop a high moral quotient. People suffering from certain emotional disorders, such as narcissists and sociopaths don’t have empathy. Empathy is a Greek word. It translates as “in suffering”. It is the ability to feel the pain and suffering of others. Narcissists and sociopaths cannot recognize the feelings and needs of others. “This deficiency renders them emotionally and cognitively crippled. They exploit, manipulate, and abuse other people because they are unable to relate to them otherwise.”

    • But the punishments suggested by you can be misused as they’re misused generally..Women misuse the public sympathy on them against the guys whom they hate…U’re a feminist and a feminist cannot generally does’nt think impartially..U should have an impartial view..If u’re considering western countries ideal in this respect,,then the laws should be like them only….

  1. I have to disagree with this term “Ashamed to be Indian” by anyone and especially Agniveer Team. All sorts of crimes do happen it is upto the Govt. and security forces to prevent them from happening.Just lighting the candles for 2 days, posting in blogs and forgetting them is not the right way.Govt. has finances, reach and security forces with enough laws to prevent and punish these culprits.A strict punishment with hefty fines,if not eradicate atleast it prevents a big number of cases from happening. As an individual or group we can do our part of bringing awareness but still that’s not enough. The onus lies with the Govt., make the campaign as India’s pride and take the people with them, run it for a year day in day out instead of spending money on national leaders jayantis and obituaries. This is the only solution that can work.

    • @Madhu Ji
I agree with you “Ashamed to be Indian” not the right title for the article. Such crimes happens everywhere from inception of universe. That does not mean we should ashamed to be Indian but we should form laws to stop them instead for feeling ashamed to be Indian. If you are ashamed to be Indian then what want to call yourself “Proud to be (name of country).” Where is place where such crimes do not happen? Title should like that “ashamed to be human” for the people who do such crimes..

    • We cannot blame everything on law and security. The very fact that we do not get tamed by anything except law makes Agniveer ashamed of this society. Corruption and subjugation of women is part of our thinking process today. The incident of Munirka was just tip of an iceberg. There lies a much deeper perversion that Agniveer is ashamed of. Look at buses, look at public places, look at what excites a common youth in our families and you would find how deeply ingrained is commoditization of women. That is especially true of capital city. Respect for women is No 1 characteristic of any civilized society. If we falter there, we have no reason to be proud of our present society. Its not just an isolated incident. Till we mature as a society to provide complete respect and security to women at all places at all times of day (and night), our pride will only be a false facade. Lets deserve the pride first.

I am proud of India because for me India represents my cultural values coming from Vedic era. I don’t care about the rest. But to be proud of being Indian, I first need to showcase why my current Indian society is worth being so proud and more proud than anyplace else in world. Lets do our homework and be deserving of this pride.

      • @ Agniveer Agni ji
I agree we cant blame everything on law and security. But if cases like, ex President Mrs. Pratibha Patil pardoning a rapist and killer makes us believe otherwise. There should be a deterrent and at the same time full fledged awareness program should be run by Govt. with the help of NGOs,Media, etc. This initiative should be taken by the Govt. Individuals or groups can bring awareness but are confined to some areas only. If Govt. take all these steps along with the people we certainly can see the change.
For eve teasing community service as a part of punishment be awarded to the culprits.
I agree with you ” Respect for women is No 1 characteristic of any civilized society”.

      • Great article Agniveer! I agree with the title “Ashamed to be Indian”. I would not be ashamed to say that We Indians are the most hypocritic people of all. We say we believe in God, our great culture, traditions, rituals, etc but practices are totally opposite. It’s a shame for entire nation if such criminals are given a lesser punishment than DEATH (HANGED). Hell with Prathibha Patil who pardons rapists and killers. Rapes happen in western countries as well but we being a great nation with such vedic values and traditions, we should set an example by showing complete respect against women. But, that will never happen – it’s hard to change the thoughts of crores of people who are illiterate and uneducated and who are under the influence of alcohol. This is Kali Yuga and Lord Shri Ram with his Dharmic principles should set his foot on this Bharat khand. Only then, Bharat will be Bharat.

      • Agniveerji .now u working in west bengal …a land which is responsible for most of animal killings ..many of your members are bengalis …whats the criteria to be a Agniveer member ……..
        1. just follow a few ideologies of agniveer
        or
        2. if u want to be a Agniveer you must follow all the Agniveer ideologies i.e,(no alcohol, meat, vulgar movies and so on.)

  3. @ Follower of prophet
You are partially correct bro! Only brutal punishment can stop such crimes from happening. But that does not mean that Saudi Arabia treats women equal or respect them. India lacks harsh punishments, which are the only way to root out evil. Everyone is not a saint and under the influence of alcohol, anything can be expected. Let us not compare the laws of Saudi Arabia who treats law as ‘an eye for an eye’. That is not good for a civilized society. But yet, I vouch for Agniveer’s stand. Rapists must be punished to death.

  4. @Follower of p : if sharia was implemented these criminals would not even have ben convicted as sharia would require two MEN to testify against these criminals and the girls testimomy would not hold good and besides she would be given public lashing as justice. And that is the reason one seldom hears rape cases in the land u mentioned So please stop with the sharia stupidity.

    • How sharia deals the rapes cases. Laws in sharia
A rapist may only be required to pay the bride-money (dowry) without marrying the rape victim.

To prove rape, a woman must have 4 male witnesses.

A man is allowed to have sex with slave women and women captured in battle, and if the enslaved woman is married her marriage is annulled.

    • Muslim jurists are generally of the opinion that to evidence a case of rape, the victim has to provide four (not two) witnesses to prove the case. The basis of the Jurist’s opinion is the Qur’anic directive regarding the evidence required to start any legal proceedings against persons who have been accused of fornication.

However, a close look at the related verse of the Qur’an shows that it neither relates to the required evidence for rape cases nor for that of ordinary cases of fornication. On the contrary, it relates to the particular situation in which a person, who is generally known to be chaste and pious, is accused of fornication. For this particular case, the Qur’an says:

Those who accuse chaste women of fornication and then do not provide four witnesses [to evidence their accusation] strike them with eighty strips and do not accept their witness ever after. (Al-Noor 24: 4)

Keeping the stresses of the words of the referred verse in perspective, it is quite clear that the verse does not relate to the evidence required to prove a case of rape. On the contrary, it actually relates to protecting chaste women (as well as men) from false accusations of fornication. In other words, the verse is not prescribing the minimum number of witnesses to prove a case of rape or fornication; it is actually prescribing the minimum number of witnesses, which must be present and willing to testify against those accused of fornication, to initiate any court proceedings or to admit a case against such accused. This is quite clear from the fact that in the absence of the prescribed number of witnesses, the verse prescribes a severe punishment for the person/persons making the accusation.

Thus, according to my understanding of the related verse, the referred opinion of the Muslim jurists is not very accurate.

Furthermore, even if it is accepted that the verse prescribes the number of witnesses to prove a case of fornication, as has generally been derived by the Muslim jurists, it would still not be correct, in my opinion, to draw an analogy between rape and fornication, especially in the case of the requirement of witnesses. I am sure you would agree with me that nothing, besides the fact that both the crimes relate to sex, is common between rape and fornication. It is obvious that in the case of fornication, there is, generally, no aggrieved party, which may be termed as a complainant (in its literal sense). On the contrary, a case of fornication is, generally, initiated with an accusation on two persons (a man and a woman), who have willingly (with mutual consent) indulged in an act considered to be a crime in the Islamic Shari`ah. The reason for this peculiar position of fornication is that – in contrast to other crimes like theft, murder, robbery and even rape – fornication is a crime in which neither of the parties directly involved in it assumes the role of a complainant. The complainant, in the case of fornication, is generally a third party, not directly involved in the crime (which may, therefore, be more accurately termed as an ‘accuser’).

The position of a rape victim is, obviously, not comparable to that of one of the two (or more) parties to fornication. I, therefore, do not agree with the opinion of the majority of the Muslim jurists, who have drawn an analogy between a rape victim and a party to fornication and, therefore, are of the opinion that the evidence required to prove a case of rape is the same as the one required in proving a case of fornication[1].

In my opinion, the Shari`ah has not given any strict guidelines or rules regarding how to prove a case of rape, just as no strict and universal guidelines and rules have been given by the Shari`ah regarding the methods of proving any other crime. The reason for this silence of the Shari`ah, in the referred case, is quite obvious. We know that the methods employed in evidencing crimes greatly rely upon the human developments in the field of forensics and other investigative disciplines. Thus, the methods that can so easily be employed in the modern day were more or less unimaginable just a few years ago. Had the Shari`ah prescribed any rules regarding the methods of proving a crime, such methods would have become redundant with any developments in the field of forensics and other investigative disciplines.

In view of the above explanation, it is my opinion that the case of rape, as any other crime, except an accusation of fornication, does not require the complainant to provide a given number of witnesses, for the initiation of any legal proceedings. On the contrary, when a victim of rape – which is actually an aggrieved party in a crime rather than a party to it – brings her complaint to an authority, it is not merely an accusation, on the contrary, it is in fact a complaint of an injustice that she has suffered at the hands of the accused. In such a case, the legal authority, if it is satisfied[2] of the complainant’s appeal, may initiate any legal proceedings against the accused even if the complainant does not have any witnesses to prove her claim. The case shall, subsequently, be decided on the basis of all such evidence, which is considered admissible by the competent legal authority.

      3rd August 2000

[1] As should be clear from the preceding paragraphs, in my opinion, the Qur’an has not even given any strict criteria to prove a case of fornication.

[2] This satisfaction of the authority may be based on any grounds admissible in such cases.

  5. Excellent post,
We can’t blame Gov completely for the crime happening against women in our country.
Is it gov and security’s responsibility if we look at the women with lustful eyes?

  6. You dared to write ‘Ashamed to be Indian’ that most of the aware people , who knows the reality, just think.
Perfect title to shake up minds of Indians who are sleeping from ages……
    Aapko shat shat Naman

  7. India has copy pasted British law. if it had vedic law & vedic system of education & compulsory yog education in school then these things could be stoped.

  8. @Agniveer: Don’t Hang the Rapists, Dont Shoot them in Public!… If they Die How will they realize the pain they inflicted on the Victim??… Any Rapist Convicted… Should be allowed to be beaten up by the Victim and her relatives for as many number of days as they wish… After that He should be tortured in the Cell in worst possible ways for 15 days.. and While he is recovering from his wounds, His Testicles should be removed.. and injections of Estrogen etc should be given.. which will result in development of Female characters in him, like breast, feminine hair and voice etc.. when he develops these characters fully, he should be left in the society to Lead a Humiliating life with utter Disgust! … Authorities must make sure he doesn’t commit suicide.. He MUST LIVE THROUGH THE HELL!!!

    • So you are producing Mass Muderer.

      I give good suggestion.
“Don’t Hang the Rapists, Dont Shoot them in Public!… If they Die How will they realize the pain they inflicted on the Victim??… Any Rapist Convicted… Should be allowed to be beaten up by the Victim and her relatives for as many number of days as they wish… After that He should be tortured in the Cell in worst possible ways for 15 days.. and While he is recovering from his wounds, His Testicles should be removed.. and injections of Estrogen etc should be given.. which will result in development of Female characters in him, like breast, feminine hair and voice etc.. when he develops these characters fully,

Now after this he should be raped in and out,his fingers should be clubbed together by glue so that he will be capable of only eating by begging.Same should be done with fingers of feet.Tounge should be cut 1/4th and rest left as it is.Then leave him in society, next after one month he should be called and with hammer one Teet should be taken out each month,Once he is done with all teets in 32 months. His Skin should be removed slowly every week.

Remember he should be put in some place in City with chains and in open and good treatment should be given so he lives long and see his death. Finally agniveer should be bought and gun should be given to agniveer to shott him and write another Article on this website.

      • mr. dev it just shows the brutality of your mind ……….
we won’t require this ……….stop this three
        1. alcohol
        2.meat
        3.bollywood
        and see the changes

  9. Ashamed to be indian ??? please leave my country
A few incidents or a few people does not reflect an entire country.
I share same concerns regarding the content of article but title is preposterous and i don’t like it sorry

  10. Namaste Agniveer
Great Article indeed and I stand by you and completly support you from the core of my heart.
The recent incident of rape has disturbed my mind drastically.
How will you apply karma here? Are the sufferings of that girl a part of her karmphal!?? Very Disheartening 🙁

  11. It is very well written article addressing the worst problem in our society. If we are really ashamed and perturbed by this type of acts in our society, the real answer lies in doing some concrete actions to curb this evil. I live in USA and I can freely use any public transport system any time of day or night. I can drove to shopping center, airport without having any fear. It is just because of robust law and order system in this country. If you get any problem, within few minutes of your call, police will be there to help you and protect you. All public transport system is monitored in case if there is any problem. It does not mean that every place in US is safe and incidents do happen here but the chances are very rare due to better monitoring system, police force and quick harsh punishment. We need to do some actions to bring changes in the existing system at every level. Please have some serious brainstorming sessions with like minded people, get ideas, delegate actions and try to bring change. We should be ashamed if we are not doing any strong actions to bring safety and respect to our sisters, daughters and mothers of our country. Let us make a forum to have action oriented people who are united and can go to root levels of the problem and bring the changes. Do not tolerate any wrong things in our society, create public awareness, be a strong force that can bring changes in justice, police, politics. Truth always prevails and it has tremendous strength and character. So you will win and you never have to use the word “ashamed” but will be proud of yourself that you could do some actions in your life that saved pride of our culture.

  12. A very thoughtful and heart touching article. However, it is true, condions of women deteriorated in this country during the muslim occupation. Need not to mention the sharia law which needed 4 witnesses to prove rape, Quranic verses which legalised rape of non muslim women. And these continued for hundred of years. You may be aware of the Ismic clergy of Australia , while defending some gang rape accused muslims, compared women without head scrf as uncovered meat.
I strongly feel such sick minds have mainly been responsible for the present situation of women in India.
While government of India needs to strongly work on the law and order situation, fast tracking the rape cases, strengthen the laws dealing with sexual assault it also needs to completely ban pornography. If China can block porn searches on the net, so can we do.
And off course, a country wide movement has to be initated to heal the sick minds, to make people understand “yatra naryah pujyante, tatra ramante devtaa”

  13. Good article…reforms on the ground of thoughts are important….In practical life we have to be human being first otherwise if lust is taking over of your self then such serious issues will keep happening..During the Shivaji’s rule there is incident where one person raped the women….the rapist was absconding for months and finally went under the roof of Shivaji’s enemy. After waiting for months shivaji got this rapist and cut his hands and feet …lots of people requested shivaji to forgive this rapist but he said the act is shameful and can not forgive…if I forgive this man now then tomorrow some one will commit the same act and it will continue….I want set example where women will be safe and no such act will happen again…….
As said, we first need to read Shivaji,Rana pratap in order to reform ourself.

    Thanks again.

    Pushpraj

  14. our society is nothing but a mob. they can go in anyway, it’s very easy for them. there is no religion, no devotion in minds. just excuses. it would be a mistake to say that people pray to goddesses but still do not respect women. nobody actually worship any god here. they just go to temple. bend in front of god, and ask to fulfill some of their desires. their god end up there. if they get as they wish, they say it’s god’s grant, if didn’t, it’s our karm.

    full of illusion and stupidity.
you cannot expect anything from them.
god is like an atm machine for them.
if anything can change the society is a proper leader of the country ( manusmriti says that the type of reign of kind decide in which of four yuga the people of country are living ) and introduction of vedas and upnishads in education system. so that from childhood they can learn that life is not for fulfilling desires ( even god for them is for same purpose for now ).
god is for giving knowledge, and to point humans to right direction.

  15. i do not know if my comment will be deleted or not .But I would like to ask one question ..when i ask my fiends why you watch vulgar movies they say ———
    1. You r only watching the vulgarity see the acting thats why she has been awarded.
    2. They wear less chlothes to show the beauty.
    3. We do not watch the movies for lust .We like the story.
    and so on …….
i am in west bengal try to persuade many friends of mine but failed ………

But i do not care i will spread Agniveer ideology till the last drop of my blood……
Agniveer ji can you provide me some ways that i can awaken there slept souls..

  17. Why do you feel you are the only people bringing out rape now? Rape happens all the time but no one really pays attention to it because no one has ever made it a point to bring it out in the open. First there is the stigma of society brandishing the girl and not the man and then if you go to court the convited’s lawyer has a field day on the victim. It is such a big crime but it has never been taken seriously.
Imagine how many women have been raped since Islam invaded India and took hindu women into sexual slavery and trade. Look at 1947 when muslims partitioned our land and took it by force, raping women and children and making millions homeless and then took kashmir and how many got raped? Rape is not physical. It is mental. and no one has spoken up especially the international organizations and watchdogs and UN which sides with Pakistan, the rapists, murderers, thieves and slave traders of women and children. And then society wants the victim to marry the rapist? Can anyone even imagine going to slleep with the rapist and waking up every morning with the rapist? The world is cruel. At the moment there is a case in Canada where the supreme court is discussing whether the muslim woman can wear the nikab when giving evidence in court against rape committed by family members? What can you do but laugh at such ridicule…..does anyone know rape when they have not been raped? Indians have always been raped by the muslims but you still play cricket with the rapists and call them brothers and sisters? Amazing and cruel world.

    • It is time then to bring it out and speak up. Silence of the past does not mean we should now be silent. We should not sweep under the rug the ugly past, and in addition we should take a stand against it now.

  18. SRI CHANAKYA NITI-SASTRA CHAPTER 2
Para11. Those parents who do not educate their sons are their enemies; for as is
a crane among swans, so are ignorant so are ignorant sons in a public assembly.
Para 12. Many a bad habit is developed through overindulgence, and many a good one by chastisement, therefore beat your son as well as your pupil; never indulge them. (“Spare the rod and spoil the child.”)
blame the parents and teacher and govt.& courts of law

  19. Actually Agniveer you with your determination to make it a better place for women makes me proud to be an Indian.

Tragedies, crimes always happen, but then too always there are the helpers who come to aid and heal. These helpers renew my faith and give strength and hope. You agniveer are one of the helpers doing your part to destroy disrespect to women from its roots. You can make a huge impact and spur action. Thank you for doing this.

Think if each individual spoke up when someone disrespects a woman, how much better it would be. One person does not have to do a lot, just a little bit when he or she encounters it in their daily life. Say something. Each little voice speaking out collectively adds up and becomes a loud roar.

    • Another reason to be proud is that neither the religion nor the caste of the criminals and the victim matter to anyone in India. All India of all religions and communities rally around the woman and condemn the men. Truly united as one people, fighting for the safety of all Indian women.

  20. I fully uderstand the pain one goes through when we hear about this rape incident, particularlywhen these six wolves were aroud the girl, it is un explained torture.i do share the feelings you have expressed in your nice writeup.my request to all bharatvasis is that we should demand death penality for such people

  21. No action is taken against molesters and rapists in this country. Remember the Ruchika Girotra case. Inspite of media doing enough, the police , courts and politicians ensured that he still roams free while a young innocent girl committed suicide. Such cases embolden molesters and rapists. Why cant the trial be conducted in the present case immediately? Why the delay? The government is simply not committed enough. We need a new political and judicial system where the rapist and not the victim is shit scared to commit such a crime

  22. Dear Agniveer,

I wrote a very long comment as soon as I saw “Agniveer demands harshest punish…” . I thought you got angry and totally lost it. I even quoted gita’s chapter 2 verse 56. But then I went ahead and read further and you made it very clear that you are not angry and you don’t support brutality but brutality is the language understood by Rakshahas 🙂

I proud that such people still exist in India. I know you haven’t walked/lived every word you have said ’cause that will put you into a whole new category in which sages exist but even by writing it, I understand, you have done quite an amazing job. But don’t glorify west because I am quite sure you didn’t mean it ’cause they are no better in their mentality towards lust. Yes there is a point where they score which is they don’t look at women with odd eyes when they see some lady in streets at odd hours. But they act this way not because they have very good character but because “They act politely out of the fear that other would badge them as impolite and show that they are progressive in thoughts” But whatever fear it is, at least they act that way.

BTW thanks for such a wonderful article.

  23. […] Ashamed to be Indian This is how we treat 50% of our population. Shame! – Agniveer My head hangs in shame that I am part of such a savage society. That such beasts live in my society and yet I feel so proud of this society. “Proud to be Indian!” “Dilli meri jaan” “Jai Mata Di” For years I have been seeking my inspiration from these slogans. They would say, “Have lust, but only to that extent that you buy my product or watch my movie!” It seems like a hogwash everywhere. Till that happens, till India becomes safest place for women, till Delhi/NCR obtains best statistics on respect for women Agniveer will no more display any fake pride for its current society and people. • Get a life! Instead of kicking men all the time, blaming male gender for all ills of the world, understand the other side of life. Do not become blind because media is bombarding rape cases non-stop. Can you think beyond media?

      • The way you express your thoughts, anyone can see how peace-lover male you are. However, our thoughts match on media. Media always spread hate amongst people.

  24. Why don’t you idiots write to justice bench to stop other cases and give priority to these cases in fast track court.

Ppl woke up now just because it was on frontpage, what about all those rape cases that got easily lost in the corner of a newpaper, all these years cricket stole the show got easily promoted from sports page to front headline. And these news got vanished in “the week” “frontline” and “India today”, what about the dalit mother and daughter who got raped and killed worse than the Delhi girl??? A whole village was involved, nobody burned candles. If men really respected women they would treat the women at their home good, there is no doubt women being mistreated in Haryana, punjab and HP, no doubt they didn’t get raped in their families, no doubt they are still alive as a mute victim.

India has just woke and will fall asleep soon with one cricket news on the front page. I’m ashamed of Indians and proud of my contitution my law and my system that nobody uses or has understood to use or ever will try.

  25. Being ashamed of the savage acts of another human being is the first step towards any solution. Unless we acknowledge the problem in the first place and recognize our shortcomings as a society, incidents of this nature will continue to take place. Having stringent laws and quick punishment will be a good deterrent, but along with that changing the patriarchal mindset is what should be our focus as individuals (http://indianinus.wordpress.com/2012/12/29/wanna-change-the-world-change-the-mindset ). It all starts with the family, as they say.

    • Good people should not be ashamed of the savage acts of another. They did not commit such acts. Offended, violated, outraged, etc… yes they should feel all that. If they are to feel ashamed then it should be on what actions they believe they did either contributed to the environment that made it possible for such savage acts to occur or failed to do acts to prevent it from occurring.

  26. The male victim has spoken and said that among other problems no one stopped to help them for 20 minutes. We have to nurture a culture of caring and helping. I know there are charity groups and many people who are kind and do help, but we need to do more. We cannot be so jaded. Agniveer I hope you can write to this.

“…The 28-year-old, who is a software engineer, said that no one came forward to help them as they were dumped on the roadside semi-clad and bloodied.

“We were lying in the cold night for 20 minutes. We had no clothes. Many cars and auto-rickshaws came and passed by us but no one stopped to offer us help. Even though I was crying for help,” he said. …” http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/delhi/Wish-I-could-have-saved-her-gang-rape-victims-friend-says/articleshow/17890809.cms

  27. Dear agniveer ji,
I have following questions what if a woman is a cause of trouble. in our family we have seen this.
    answer my following question –
    1. women after m\marriage does not allow husbands to look after in laws?.
    2. What if women abuses husband and its entire family.
    3. What if women is over jealous and oversuspicious.
    4. All the laws are for women esp Dowry harassment, domestic violence etc. But what about a man who is sensible and a good human being. Search on net you will find many women who have trapped husbands and his entire family falsely on dowry harassment and domestiv violence. women get at times wrongly guided by parents.
    5. You can’t break all relations just b’coz of one relation married to a girl.
    6. True men abuse women but not all. I have seen in my hostel life girls flirt around with boys for money etc and pleasures and dump them. I have seen this. Vice versa is also true.
I worked in all men atmosphere i had served in armed forces. You are respected by men by your calibre and character n work but otherwise is also true ladies do take advantage of system.
    please give me answer

    • @Rashmi :
..But what about a man who is sensible and a good human being. this statement should not mean that the man should be at the receiving end of a abusive relation. A good and virtuous man would stand for him self and what he believes in and confront the abusive women face on, let her know what his priorities are and that he does not like the way “She” behaves and dictates him/his life,he must carry this conversation out this with confidence and conviction , keeping his cool.If she still does not fix herself over a period of time, the man should look for the way to split in the best possible and amicable way ,depending on the priorities. But one thing is for sure, one has to be e a Man and stand for himself, am i am certain she will start respecting the man, which she is not doing now.

    • We were talking about a general view of women as objects prevailing in society. We were not focusing on individuals. Whatever has been written is for a normal person and not for special cases of villains. Overall, it is fact that men take to vices more than women. There are more drunkards, drug-addicts, criminals etc from men than women even in most “modern” societies. Hence the view. But that does not mean that women have a free hand in doing anything wrong. We have to call spade a spade. We must respect women in general, but not tolerate anything which is wrong, regardless of whether the perpetrator is a man or woman.

      • One thing I find dismaying is that people outside of India have taken advantage of this publicized case to demonize all of India all of Indian men and all of Hinduism. You see it in the comments in articles on this rape case in foreign newspapers. It is not contrucitve criticism but ugly racism and bigotry being spewed portraying all Indians (and by Indian they think Hindu) the same as these criminals. Saying that Hindu men are sex starved, that in India rape is not a crime in the culture. How idiotic. Some even went to the extreme and said India is the worst they have seen in the world. BS. Really. There are places where women cannot even go to school or even show their face outside the home but India is the worst of all? Garbage. No they are indulging in the extreme demonization of India. Hatred is being spewed, prejudice is being shown. All in the disguise of speaking for Indian women.

      • There is nothing to do with Hinduism or Islam in this case. If you talk from birth perspective, 5 of them were Hindus. But the 6th one who actually raped her twice and took out her intestines by bare hands was Mohammad Afroz, born as Muslim. He is likely to be freed because he is 4 months less than 18. To Agniveer, such creatures are simply demons, and no religion should be associated with them. Afroz seems to be follower of hate mongers like Taliban and Al-Qaeda as he was doing exactly what is written in some of the books of these fanatics as ways to punish non believers in Hell.

      • It doesn’t have to do with religion, and you and I have the good sense not to tar a whole people by the acts of vile criminals, but that does not stop people from using this case to vent their racism and bigotry against India, Hinduism, and all Indian males. In essence they say the acts of criminals represent Indian culture, making it seem as if the norm is that Indian males are repressed sex starved rapists continually violent in numerous ways towards Indian women. As if India is beyond the pale, when in truth there is no country that is free from sexism and violence against women sadly enough. You can see it in the comments in foreign newspapers such as CNN or Huffington Post or The Daily Beast. See really ugly comments as if these criminals represent the Indian male, and has the support of Indian culture, which it does not. They are not uniting with Indians in support of reform but demonizing all Indians and India. And that is a terrible thing they do. There are problems that need to be addressed but on top of it India faces being damned by the actions of these criminals, and disparaged, which is unfair.

      • The paid media has exaggerated this news all over because of certain vested interests who stand to benefit from it and hope to pass more anti-male laws. The vested interests include the feminists in India and the west. Media has behaved like their slaves. Western feminists and their Indian avtars want more and more cases like these so that more laws are passed to enslave men and make them pay for women. This also means more funds. Understand the intention behind this.

      • Now let me call a spade a spade. Your article is full of male hatred and I have serious objections to it. It spews venom, full of one-sided views and smacks of medieval style chivalry where a man should die to protect women. The general view is never of men treating women as objects. If so, there would have been absolute chaos. The common man is good; he has been demonised by mainstream paid media and people like you who do not see the intentions of the media and who had paid for it.

  28. “The sexual exposure we face is unparalleled in the history of mankind… Because pornography and sex have such a forceful pull on us, if left unchecked our society will erode before our very eyes. We will have millions of people who have sexual addictions.”
    – ‘Treating Pornography Addiction’ by Dr. Kevin B. Skinner
The horrifying gang-rape of a young physiotherapy student in a private bus in Delhi has sparked outrage across the country. The innocuous-seeming circumstances in which the rape occurred, the bloodcurdling brutality of the perpetrators, the ineptitude of the police and the “Theek hain?” gaffe of the Prime Minister have all added fuel to the fire.
Before addressing this issue, I offer my sincere prayers for the departed soul of the victim and my heartfelt condolences to her bereaved and traumatized family. Gita wisdom teaches us that all of us are relatives, connected in God’s all-encompassing family. So we are all together in getting over this tragedy.
The Delhi horror underscores undeniably that our female citizens absolutely require much better security. We need a more vigilant police force, prompter help-lines, and stronger and swifter punishments for sexual assaulters.
Yet will better security be enough? Might our society be suffering from a more deep-rooted malaise of which this gruesome rape is an intolerably stinking symptom? After all, the news periodically reports incidents of scary sexual violence. School-teacher extracting sexual favors from a girl-student in the classroom; father having incest with his daughter in the presence of his son; mother and daughter hacking to death a man with whom both had an affair – these are the headlines from just a week’s news.
Surely something is terribly wrong in our society, but what is it?
The topic of sexual assault is complex; sociologists include anger, power and sadism among its causes. Here, I will focus on one important aspect that has been largely overlooked by the media but is illumined by Vedic wisdom.
    The little-discussed Shurapanakha factor
In the Vedic tradition, the demon Ravana, the villain of the Ramayana, is the emblem of lust. Ravana was so dominated by lust that he would abduct beautiful women wherever he found them and force them to join his harem. He even raped a relative, the celestial nymph Rambha, who was married to his nephew. Thereafter he was cursed to die if he ever raped any other women again. So, when he abducted Sita for enjoying her sexually, he threatened to kill and eat her if she didn’t voluntarily comply. Thus, for the sake of gratifying his sexual appetite he had a proclivity to rape and to commit other types of horrible violence against women. He finally met his just end when he was given capital punishment by Lord Rama.
The perversity of Ravana is widely known, but a crucial detail underlying his perversity is less known. The Ramayana describes that though Ravana was initially allured by thoughts of possessing Sita, he gave up his evil intentions when he was told about the unmatchable power of Rama. However, when his malicious sister Shurapanakha incited him by describing Sita’s beauty explicitly and provocatively, he lost all sense and courted self-destruction. Shurapanakha had her own scores to settle and she used Ravana as her pawn by inciting him.
The Ramayana, in addition to being an ancient history, features characters who are prototypes for perennial themes. In our current context, Ravana obviously symbolizes sexual perverts like the Delhi rapists. What does Shurapanakha symbolize? She symbolizes the forces that incite people sexually and make them behave in Ravana-like ways.
    The modern Shurapanakha
Today’s primary sexual inciter, the modern Shurapanakha, is the commercial world that uses sex to sell its products. The commercial world knows that sex is the best sales tool because nothing catches people’s attention and triggers their imagination as much as sex. So it exploits sex as its ubiquitous marketer and fills our culture with sexually provocative images.
This commercial exploitation of sex is all the more flagrant in the entertainment industry, especially Hollywood and Bollywood, where sex is arguably the most glamorized product on sale. And the modern Shurapanakha is at its blatant worst as the pornography industry, where sex, even brutal sex, is the only product on sale. Commercial porn websites, magazines, books, videos, DVDs, cable television, etc. comprise one of the most lucrative global industries. In the United States alone, porn revenue is larger than the combined revenues of all professional football, baseball and basketball franchises.
Due to this massive commercial exploitation, sex is thrust upon us from all directions – TV, theaters, internet, magazines and billboards. Practically wherever we look, sexually provocative images are pushed into our eyes. The way human culture has become sexualized in the last several decades has no precedent in world history.
    The Deadly Consequence of Liberalization
The modern Shurapanakha incites in a much more insidious way than the Ramayana Shurapanakha. It fools us into believing that becoming its pawn, that is, becoming sexually incited, is a sign of sexual liberalization. To understand how such liberalization can entrap us, let’s first look at the rationale for sexual restraint.
The Bhagavad-gita (07.10) offers us insight into the sanctity of sex: when it is performed within the precincts of dharma, it offers us an opportunity to experience the divine. Sex enables us to become co-creators with God in bringing new life into the world.
At the same time, Gita wisdom cautions us that when sex is divorced from this divine perspective and purpose, it becomes motivated by a deadly force that impels people into perversity. In the Bhagavad-gita (03.36), Arjuna asks Krishna: what makes people act sinfully, even against their will? This eternally relevant question is presently resonant. Krishna answers (Gita 03.37) that the evil inner impeller is lust which is the all-devouring sinful enemy of the world. Then he outlines how a philosophically informed and devotionally centered culture empowers us to keep lust under control.
Traditionally, the sexual force was regulated by the sacred inviolable covenant of marriage. The modern Shurapanakha has persuaded us that this covenant is too regressive and repressive, and so we need to liberate ourselves from it. Being thus taken in, we approve the release of this force from within the fence of covenant each time we delight in sexually explicit imagery, language and music.
However, lust once released can rapidly veer out of control. The Bhagavad-gita (03.39) states that lust is like an insatiable fire. Indulgence acts as the fuel that aggravates the fire. So, when we release the force of lust a bit through indulgence, it becomes that much stronger and demands more release through greater indulgence. When we accede, it becomes stronger still and demands still greater release, thereby trapping us. What we might have thought of as unconscionable before we released lust may over time become acceptable, then enjoyable and finally irresistible. This is how the modern Shurapanakha makes many people into sexual perverts.
The English satirist Alexander Pope in his An Essay on Man echoes how vice – the modern Shurapanakha in our context – inverts our sensibilities:
Vice is a monster of so frightful mien, As to be hated needs but to be seen
Yet seen too oft, familiar with her face, We first endure, then pity, then embrace.
    – Alexander Pope
Understanding this insidious nature of lust can help us see the link between the generic commercial exploitation of sex and this specific ghastly sexual assault: the force that we are releasing in the name of liberalization is the same force that in a later stage is impelling such fiendish crimes.
By no means is this metaphorical analysis of lust as a monster meant to shift the blame away from the rapists; they are responsible for letting the monster pervert them. The purpose of this analysis is to point out that their barbarism is not an anomaly that can be rectified just by stronger legal measures; it is a detestable but natural consequence of the feverish sexualization that has permeated our entire culture.
How the unconscionable can become the real
We may doubt: “Most commercial depictions of sex in the media portray romantic and consensual sex. How can that lead to such perversity?”
Not all commercial sexual depictions are consensual; the reprehensible glamorization of violent sex in extreme forms of pornography is a significant exception. But even if we set aside this exception, the fact remains that the commercial depiction of sex is designed to trigger lust. And once this hideous monster is aroused, it can become blind to the difference between sanctified sex and profane sex. It can become blinder still so as to see no difference between consensual sex and forcible sex. And at its blindest, it can no longer distinguish between sex alone and sex mixed with violence, torture, maiming, and murder. Due to this blinding nature of lust, the Bhagavad-gita cautions us that it is “the destroyer of knowledge and intelligence” (Gita 3.41) and is “our eternal enemy” (Gita 3.39).
Those who give a free rein to this monster become the modern Ravanas. In fact, they end up becoming worse than the Ramayana Ravana; the barbarous violence of the Delhi rapists far exceeded what Ravana did to anyone. These perverts need to be swiftly and visibly meted out the necessary severe punishment, as was meted out by Lord Rama to Ravana.
But we also need to remember that the Shurapanakha which incited them is inciting everyone, including us too. Of course, the savagery of the Delhi rapists is unthinkable for any civilized person. Yet, appalling as all incidents of sexual violence are, they happen frequently not just in India but all over the world. So, it would surely be naïve and simplistic to demonize these perpetrators alone and give a clean chit to everyone else, including ourselves.
Perhaps this revolting gang-rape is the jolt necessary to drive home the reality that we are being manipulated by self-serving interests who are exploiting our sexuality to fill their bank accounts while propelling us on a self-destructive track of ever-aggravating lust. Liberalization is the ploy that is deceiving us to willingly, even eagerly, play into the hands of the modern Shurapanakha.
If we don’t curb the modern Shurapanakha, then just as the knowledge of Rama’s power couldn’t deter the lust-maddened Ravana, the knowledge of severe legal punishments won’t deter the modern lust-maddened Ravanas.
    The fetish for political correctness
Today speaking against sexual liberalization is widely considered politically incorrect. Those who have the audacity to suggest that anything might be wrong with liberalization are immediately silenced by a severe political backlash.
Pertinently, the Ramayana depicts the results of a fetish for political correctness. Soon after Ravana played into the hands of Shurapanakha and abducted Sita, he started witnessing the consequences of his suicidal folly: Hanuman with his tail-blazing exploits reduced nearly half of Lanka to ashes.
The distraught Ravana called an emergency meeting of his ministers. In that council, saying that the demon-king had erred in abducting Sita was politically incorrect. So his bootlicking ministers just recommended better security measures for Lanka as the solution. Hardly anyone dared to go against the canon of political correctness. The only vocal politically incorrect dissident was Vibhishana; he boldly and firmly urged Ravana to give up his lust for Sita and return her to Rama.
Unfortunately, Ravana was too possessed by the monster of lust to even consider this sound advice. He curtly silenced Vibhishana’s dissenting voice and thereby sealed his own pact with death.
Despite the differences between this Ramayana situation and the gang-rape aftermath, the central point of the parallel is valid and vital: will we choose political correctness or corrective reform?
    Towards a liberalizing respiritualization
If we choose reform, then each one of us can make a tangible contribution. All of us have the power to stop being puppets of the modern Shurapanakha; we can individually rebel against the rabid sexualization of our culture. Each time we dress, each time we look at others, each time we respond to sexually overt or covert language, we have the power to make a statement: “We will no longer be pawns in the hands of those who exploit our sexuality.” Every such statement is not just a statement; it is also a contribution to the progressive curing of the sexual fever that is pandemic in our culture.
To accelerate this healing, Gita wisdom offers us an intellectual foundation and a practical pathway. It helps us understand that we are not our bodies, but are eternal souls. We are beloved parts of Krishna, who is our all-attractive all-loving Lord. Our infatuation with sex is a distorted reflection of our original love for him. By redirecting our love towards him, we can relish a deep inner happiness that helps us regulate and transcend sexual craving.
And the process of devotional service offers us a practical means for redirecting our love towards Krishna. Devotional culture naturally focuses on Krishna and minimizes all distractions. That’s why in such a culture neither men nor women highlight or aggravate their sexuality. Instead, both focus on developing their latent spirituality. We see each other not as potential sex objects but as spiritual beings, as fellow travelers on an epic devotional voyage back to Krishna. Such a vision helps us strive undistractedly for inner fulfillment. The more we become spiritually fulfilled, the more we become liberated from the constant craving for sex. When our mental energy is no longer perpetually dissipated by sexual fantasies, we become free to fully use our abilities and resources for our own and others’ holistic well-being. That is real liberalization indeed.
Decreasing the sexualization of our culture and participating in its re-spiritualization – that is the twofold solution to the grave problem of sexual violence.

  29. HINDUISM & RAPE:

    Hinduism
    Quote:
In the Brhadārankyaka Upanishad scripture(advocating rape):Surely, a woman who has changed her clothes at the end of her menstrual period is the most auspicious of women. When she has changed her clothes at the end of her menstrual period, therefore, one should approach that splendid woman and invite her to have sex. Should she refuse to consent, he should bribe her. If she still refuses, he should beat her with a stick or with his fists and overpower her, saying: “I take away the splendor from you with my virility and splendor (6.4.9,21).
    Quote:
In Dharmasastra, which is a Hindu moral and legal text(all women are whores):Good looks do not matter to them, nor do they care about youth; ‘A man!’ they say, and enjoy sex with him, whether he is good-looking or ugly. By running after men like whores, by their fickle minds, and by their naturallack of affection these women are unfaithful to their husbands even when they are zealously guarded here. Knowing that their very own nature is like this, as it was born at the creation by the Lord of Creatures (Prajapati), a man should make the utmost effort to guard them. The bed and the seat, jewellery, lust, anger, crookedness, a malicious nature, and bad conduct are what Manu assigned to women. There is no ritual with Vedic verses for women; this is a firmly established point of law. For women, who have no virile strength, and no Vedic verses, are falsehood; this is well established. Manusmrti 9:14-18.
    Quote:
In Dharmasastra(women need to be kept under control)Men must make their women dependent day and night, and keep under their own control those who are attached to sensory objects. Her father guards her in childhood, her husband guards her in youth, and her sons guard her in old age. A woman is not fit for independence. — Manusmrti 9:2-4.
    Quote:
In the Vedas:”Lord Indra himself has said, ‘The mind of woman cannot be disciplined; she has very little intelligence.’ — Rig Veda 8:33:17.
    Quote:
In the Purunas(Hindu Gods Rape Gautama’s wife)Formerly the gods lusted for Gautama’s wife and raped her, for their wits were destroyed by lust. Then they were terrified and went to the sage Durvasas [an incarnation of Siva], who said, ‘I will remove all your defilements with the Satarudriya Mantra [an ancient Saiva prayer].’ Then he gave them ashes which they smeared upon their bodies, and their sins were shaken off. — Padma Purana 4:101:174-9.
    Quote:
In the Smriti(Lord Rama’s mom has sex with a horse ‘all night long’ to cleanse sins):The prescribed victims — snakes, birds, the horse, and aquatic animals — were bound at the place of immolation; each was dedicated to a specific divinity as is set forth in the ritual texts. The priests then bound them all to the posts in the manner set forth in the ritual texts. Three hundred beasts in addition to Dasaratha’s jewel of a horse were bound there to the sacrificial posts. Kausalya (Rama’s mom) walked reverently all around the horse and then with the greatest joy cut it with three knives. Her mind unwavering in her desire for righteousness, Kausalya (Rama’s mom) passed one night with the horse. The priests — the hotr, the adhvaryu, and the udgatr — saw to it that the second and the juniormost of the king’s wives, as well as his chief queen, were united with the horse. Then the officiating priest, who was extremely adept and held his senses in check, removed the fat of the horse and cooked it in the manner prescribed in the ritual texts. At the proper time and in accordance with the ritual prescriptions, the lord of men then sniffed the fragrance of the smoking fat, thereby freeing himself from sin. Then, acting in unison, the sixteen brahman officiating priests threw the limbs of the horse into the fire, in accordance with the ritualinjunctions. In other sacrifices, the oblation is offered upon branches of the plaksa tree, but in the Horse Sacrifice alone the apportionment of the victim is made on a bed of reeds. The Horse Sacrifice is known as the Three-Day Rite; for both the kalpasutra and the brahmanas refer to the Horse Sacrifice as a rite lasting for three days. — Ramayana 1:13:24-33.
    Quote:
In the Smriti(method of turning women back to virgins):”A woman who has been unchaste should worship Siva in his calm aspect, Siva who is Kama. Then she should summon a Brahmin and give herself to him, thinking, ‘This is Kama who has come for the sake of sexual pleasure.’ Andwhatever the Brahmin wishes, the sensuous woman should do. For thirteen months she should honour in this way any Brahmin who comes to the house for the sake of sexual pleasures, and there is no immorality in this for noble ladies or prostitutes.” — Matsya Purana 70:40-60; cf. Mahabharata III:2:23.
Hindu God Vishnu raping Brinda(Vrinda) and this rape is celebrated by every hindu in their house as Tulsi Vivah or Tulsi Pooje …
This is an extract from Padma Purana . I know there are hindus who claim that purana is corrupted(but the question is why most hindus celebrate Tulsi vivah or Tulsi Pooje every year … isnt it like a rape being celebrated ???? Just because the rapist is Vishnu(hindu God) , it is celebrated … lunatic hindus …)

    • POOR MUSLIM :-

Muslims just have to lie to defend their Cult of Islam

Most of the fake Allegations by you that u copy-pasted from ur hateful teachers have already been Refuted in This site . just read about women in Vedas & Hinduism on this very site.

And just look at ur Fake allegation No 1 :- Brhadārankyaka Upanishad (6.4.9,21).

Well firstly the verse in question are 6:4:6 & 7 ,,,Poor Muslim there is no verse 6:4:9:21..LOL

And the Context of 6:4:6-7 is not RAPE its About a married Couple in which a Man wants a Child but the Wife doesnt want a Child .

For this Brihadaranyaka Upanishad (6:4:6) says:- “The Man should first increase his self-confidence,, then he should praise the beauty of his wife.”

(6:4:7) says :- “if the wife is not willing then the Man should Buy expensive Gifts for her . if still the Wife doesnt want to have Children ,, then the man should use a Stick or hand to Strike her(its not for beating but to draw attention) . The man should then say that your reputation will be ruined people will tell you that you are Impotent .”

Thus its a Process of Convincing a wife Emotionally not by any Force.

(6:4:8) says :- “if the Wife then WILLINGLY agrees the husband should say I transmit reputation unto you”

Meaning that the Child which will be Born will bring Reputation to Both parents.

YOUR Quran sanctions rape in verse 4:24 which says a man can have sex with married Slaves.

      Muhammad himself raped many Slaves.

  30. DEMOCRACY & FREEDOM OF WOMEN:

Is Democracy really able to provide eternal values that will be
conducive to human salvation? In reality, Democracy is but the rule of
the majority. Can it be really possible for the majority in a society to
develop and formulate the laws that are to be necessarily followed for
the conduct of life of a people? The majority of the people in Europe
and America have accepted the system of dating wherein young girls
and boys come to know each other intimately, to intermingle with each
other freely and even to sleep together as well before marriage. It is,
after all, this acceptance and licentious ways that has served to torment
that society with the afflictions of deadly diseases like AIDS and of
other numerous mental disorders. In fact, the increasing rate of crime
and sex related diseases in third world countries, like India, which are
passionately following the western values owes this to their dependence
on democracy to deliver the right course of conduct. Here, the fact
becomes clear that it is the Lord God Himself, who created man, Who
is to teach how man is to lead his life.
What is modern democracy? It is nothing but a new name that
has been conferred upon Capitalism. Are not man and woman equal
in the capitalist world? For those who seek to give the answer merely
by looking upon the participating presence of both the sexes at the
offices, it may be possible to give ‘yes’ as an answer. However, they
refuse to accept the fact that Capitalism prevents woman from fulfilling
the role which nature has demanded of her. Modern Democracy can
very well ask woman to work alongside man, to earn her salary and
to go forth into the market place. But who, indeed, can ask man to
undertake pregnancy, to give birth and to breast-feed like the woman.
It may, perhaps, be possible for capitalism to ask the nation to provide
for woman who gives birth to a child who knows not its own father.
But, which, indeed, is the ideology that can confer solace upon the
woman who yearns to be fondled by the father of the child within her?
It may be possible for a consumerist culture to provide baby food for
the offspring that is born without ever being able to know the identity
of its own parents. But, which television ad is it that will provide
contentment to the minds of the little ones who yearn for the love of
the mother and the protection of the father?
The equality of the sexes is a myth; a myth that has been fostered
within human minds by democracy with the aid of the media. A woman
can never become likea man nor can a man ever become likea woman.
Western democracy, which teaches woman to be like man, is, in reality,
making the life of woman unbearable. Through this, it wrecks the
family and, with it, the very moral fibre of the society as well.
Capitalism sees every thing in the world as a part of
consumerism. Man and woman are no exceptions. Their emotions or
their problems are hardly issues of its concern. For it looks only to the
market. It thinks of nothing but the objects that will serve to accelerate
the various processes therein. This is the position of woman in
capitalism. She is always the model, the call-girl, the stenographer, the
secretary, the dancer, the actress; but never is she allowed to be the
mother by capitalism. After all, her being a mother would diminish her market value; wouldn’t it?! Then she becomes an old woman; an
inhabitant of old-age homes; one destined to live the rest of her life
counting the days to her end.
The Qur’an, however, presents a most practical, yet moral,
system. A practical system which moves forward always in harmony
with human nature. In its vision, the human being is not only the one
with rosy cheeks and unwrinkled skin, but he is also the child within its
mother’s womb as also the aged one awaiting death. Indeed, its
command encompasses even the dead body which is never to be
    violated.
The Qur’an is never in conformity with the utilitarianism of
Capitalism. This is the main point of divergence where the Qur’anic
vision differs from the view of modern democracy over the subject of
woman. The Qur’an never sees woman as a source of economic gain.
It never agrees to see her as an instrument of trade either; for she is
one half of the human soul; the veritable mother of society. It is her
motherhood which Islam considers first and foremost. It emphasizes
that it is on the lap of the mother that the very bedrock of the institution
of the family, the fundamental unit of morality that is so vital in society,
is nurtured. The Lord Creator, who revealed the Qur’an, is well aware
of the difficulties and limitations faced by a woman who becomes a
mother. Indeed, these have been given due consideration by the Qur’an.
The outlook of capitalism is that it is virginity – in fact, that hypocritical
pretentious virginity – that has the most ‘market value’. This has also
been the basic difference in the professed value – frameworks of Islam
    and Capitalism.

  31. The Islamic dress code is never the symbol of slavery. On the
contrary, a little reflection will convince one that it is, in fact, the symbol
of modesty. It is true that Islam commands woman to cover all her
body parts save for her face and forehands. Why has this command
been made? What has this command done: has it relegated women
behind the prism of obscurantism or has it allowed for them a freedom
in a valley of security? The Qur’anic verses which make the Islamic
dress code compulsory provide clear answers to these questions. They
go as follows: “O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters and the believing
women that they should cast their outer garments over their
persons (when abroad): that is most convenient, that they should be
known (as such) and not molested. And God is Oft-Forgiving, Most
    Merciful.” (33:59)
“And say to the believing women that they should lower their
gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty
and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they
should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty
except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands’ fathers, their sons, their husbands’ sons, their brothers or their brothers’ sons or,
their sisters’ sons, or their women, or the slaves whom their right
hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children
who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they should not
strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments.
And O ye believers! Turn ye all together towards God, that ye may
    attain bliss.” (24:31)
“And stay quietly in your houses, and make not a dazzling display,
like that of the former times of ignorance; and establish regular
prayer, and give regular charity; and obey God and His Apostle. And
God only wishes to remove all abomination from you, ye members of
the family, and to make you pure and spotless.” (33:33)
The real objective of asking the woman to adopt a decent mode
of dressing becomes quite clear from these verses.
One: That they may be recognized.
Two: That they be not molested.
Those who live or work in different fields in society do adopt
certain patterns of dressing in order that they are identified likewise.
As far as women are concerned, it is possible, to a certain extent, to
assess their way of life and character from the very pattern of dress
    that they adopt.
Prostitutes dress in such fashion as to enable those in need of
them to identify them. The Devadasis who were attached to temples
had, for purposes of identification, their own way of dressing. It may
also be seen that the Hetaerae of Greece, the Chin kuwan Jen of
China and the Gaishes of Japan – all had their own ways of dressing.
They could all be identified by this code of apparel. Those in need of
them could also be invited thereby.
    The ideal woman as envisioned by Islam is modest and pious;
    chaste and virtuous – she is never approached by sex starved wolves;
is not advanced upon by any with pleas for sexual gratification. This
must all be discernible from her dressing itself. That prostitutes were
to sit by windows with their breasts uncovered was a prescription in
the legal code of fifteenth century Venice. It was indeed, a prescription
for judging the quality of the available goods for those sex starved
persons who came to satisfy their craving! How strange, indeed, it is
that modern day women should have as their attire those that resemble
the ones used by the prostitutes of yesteryear to attract the possible
users of their bodies. The Qur’an, however, recommends that
believing women and those who sell their bodies must be clearly distinguishable
from each other and that, too, by the clothes that they
    wear.
Women have, in all ages, constituted a group, which has been
never allowed any peace. Indeed, the great literary and cultural figures
of every age have been men who tended to fight over the flesh
and chastity of women. If yesterday the honour of women was torn
apart through nude dances and poetry that depicted and glorified nudity,
today it is being practiced right within the corridors of the family
setting through the ‘idiot boxes’ and the Internet. The whole life of
modern man has become sexually oriented. Things have come to such
a pass that from the choice of the coffee that one drinks early in the
morning to the pillow that one uses to sleep late in the night there is
no escape from casting a glance, howsoever, cursory, on the feminine
curves exploited inorder to sell the product.
It has also been for the very same reason that molestation of
women has steadily been on the increase. Indeed, fathers who sexually
harass their own daughters and mothers who involve in sexual
relations with the sons to whom they have themselves given birth are,
fast becoming characters who hardly raise a ripple in the normal functioning
of our intellect. Teachers who sexually harass their female
students! Male students who go around with their female teachers!
The prominent officials who are forced to resign their jobs owing to
the humiliation of sex scandals connecting them to their female secretaries!
Women of royalty who publicly proclaim that they have sexual
relationships with many men! So goes the list of news articles that we
get to read in the daily newspapers. Indeed, it is a situation wherein
women are unable to travel in peace! Wherein they are unable to
work in security! In fact, our society seems to be rushing headlong into a situation where women are even unable to be at peace in their
very own homes! What is the reason for this state of affairs? Observe
the answers given by mature experts in the field.
In the column entitled Weekly Thoughts in the magazine
Kumari, Sree N.V Krishna Warrier wrote: “It is generally believed
that men tend to rape in a mood of temporary intoxication caused
primarily by the provocative dressing and gestures adopted by women.
Indeed, sometimetime back a Supreme Court Judge in India had declared
that every woman who wore clothing that attracts the man
deserves to be raped.” (Kumari Weekly, 11.3.83)
It is then clear that by adopting modesty in her dressing the
woman protects her body. The Lord Creator did, indeed, speak the
truth when He commanded: “O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters
and the believing women that they should cast their outer garments
over their persons (when abroad): That is most convenient,
that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And God is
Oft-forgiving, Most merciful.”(33:59). The Qur’an advices women to
dress decently as a first step towards ending acts of adultery, rape and
    sexual harassment.
The earlier prophets, too, had taught the believing women that
they were to cover all parts of their body except for the face and
forehands. The history of the Old Testament also indicates that the
practice of veiling the faces in the presence of male strangers was
very much in vogue amongst the Israeli society right from the earliest
times.(Genesis 24: 62-65). The importance and prevalence of this tradition
can be gauged from the fact that it was generally believed that
to unveil a woman was tantamount to raping her (Songs of Solomon
    5:7).
It may also be seen that the tradition of the viel existed even
after the time of Jesus Christ. This has been indicated in the writings
of Paul. He had written thus: “But every woman who prays or prophesies
with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for that is one and
the same as if her head were shaved. For if a woman is not covered,
let her also be shorn. But if it is shameful for a woman to be shorn or

  32. shaved, let her be covered. For a man indeed ought not to cover his
head, since He is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory
    of man.”(Corinthians 11:5-7)
The Qur’an has instructed woman to adopt a decent dress code
as part of its programme to implement the verse which states: “and
approach not nigh unto adultery.” Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) had
himself taught that the lustful glance, word or action all contain within
themselves adulterous tendencies. Indeed, Islam has commanded that
the doors to all acts of ‘minor adultery’ which lead to adultery itself
and to the disruption of the moral fabric of society must be closed.
Thus, Islam has prohibited sexually provocative clothing as well as
    dances.
Jesus Christ, too, had instructed that all doors through which
adultery enters must be closed shut. He had advised thus: “So all the
days of Methuselah were nine hundred and sixty-nine years; and he
died.Lamech lived one hundred and eighty-two years, and had a
son.And he called his name Noah, saying , “This one will comfort us
concerning our work and the toil of our hands, because of the ground
which the Lord has cursed.” After he begot Noah, Lamech lived five
hundred and ninety-five years and had sons and daughters. “You have
heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery’.But
I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already
committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you
to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you
that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast
into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it
from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members
perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.” (Mathew 5:27-
    30)
Here, Christ has taught that in order to eradicate adultery the
lustful glance and provocative movements of the body must be avoided.
For that to be so what is it that becomes necessary? Woman must
dress modestly; dress in such fashion that her feminine charms are
not displayed. Then is it Prophet Muhammad, who came with the
Qur’an which commanded such a code of dressing, or is it the clergy, which tacitly encourages the use of woman as a means for furthering
business transactions, who is the real Anti Christ? Ordinary Christians
of the day must come forward to reflect upon this issue.
The advice of Dr. Annie Punnan, wife of the Christian Writer,
Zak Punnan, which she gives to Christian women is significant: “The
body is a trust which God has conferred upon us. We are never to
misuse it, for God has commanded us to use our body to glorify God.
Here, the reference is not merely to bodily actions; it also implies the
dress that we use to adorn our bodies. Indeed, it has been recorded in
the Old Testament that God did punish the sons of Zion for misusing,
in various ways, this ability to attract men.(Refer 3:16-24)
Often, the clothes that we wear on the exterior is, in many
ways, an expression of the inner state of our being. Indeed, to a certain
extent, it declares, as it were, the true nature of our personality.
Others receive their first impressions about us by the casual manner
in which we clothe ourselves. Thus, it is quite possible that our witness
for the sake of Christ will become meaningless if we are to follow the
ways of the world in the matter of our clothing.
In any event, we must not attire ourselves in such manner as to
induce sentiments of lust in men. If God will take men to account for
their lustful intentions, it is only natural that He will also call to account
those women who dressed themselves in such fashion as to arouse
feelings of lust in them.”(Zak Punnan: Sex, love and marriage: A
    Christian approach, P.112, 113)
It is, however, strange that it is those who say that woman
must do away with those clothes which arouse feelings of lust in men
who quite often, criticize Islam which has made the Purdah obligatory
for woman. These advisers have all fallen short of explaining as
to which code of dressing is the most appropriate by way of not attracting
    the sexual impulses of men.
How is a woman to dress modestly? Is it the way of dressing
of the Devadasis of yore who displayed the hair, the major portion of
the breasts and the belly as well? Or is it the traditional dress of the
Haetarae of Greece who wore their clothing up to their knees – clothing
which displayed the neck and the hair? Or will it be attire of the Chin
Kuwan Jen of China who showed off to men the contours of their
body by the use of tight fitting clothes? Or is it the Islamic way in
which loose fitting clothes that cover all parts of the body except the
face and forehands are worn by woman? No unbiased person will fail
to chose any but the last option.
The greatest speciality of Islam is that not only did it command
women to dress decently, it went further and actually put forward the
way in which it was to be done. Many of those who say that women
are not to dress in ways that lead men astray however fail to give a
clear picture of just such a way of dressing. Indeed, it is here that
Islam emerges victorious. The fact that crimes against women are
rare in societies that have adopted the Islamic code of dressing goes
to show the relevance and practical nature of the Qur’anic verse that
states “…..so that they may not be molested.” (33:59)
The allegation that the Islamic code of dressing has been deviced
to confine women to the kitchen is without any foundation whatsoever.
History has shown that there have been many women of greatness
who participated and excelled in the various domains in society
all the time having clothed themselves in this very same code of dressing.
Indeed, for Aysha (R), the wife of the Prophet, the Islamic dress
code never stood as an obstacle in learning from the Prophet and
subsequently in teaching his companions both during and after his lifetime.
She had even led in the Battle of the Camel dressed in the same
type of clothing. When most amongst the men had fled from the Battle
of Uhud it was Umm Ammara(R), clad in the Purdah, who fought
on with her weapon. The Islamic code of dressing had never been an
obstacle in the line of duty for Umm Athiya (R) who became famous
as the one who participated in several battles alongside the Prophet by
nursing the wounded and preparing food for the soldiers. So goes the
list of the greatest women amongst the companions of the Prophet!
These were women who had surmounted the pinnacle of greatness
by making their impact in the various domains of society all the while
dressed in clothing that revealed nothing of their body save for their
face and forehands. There are such sisters in society even today as well, sisters in faith who boldly step out into the different sections of
society ever ready to serve while yet adopting the Islamic way of
dressing for their own selves. Here, it becomes self evident that the
allegation that the Islamic code of dressing seeks to bind the woman in
    chains is quite meaningless.
In truth, therefore, what the Qur’an seeks to do in instructing
woman to dress decently is to formulate a practical solution, which
raises the self-esteem of women and eliminates situations wherein
    they are molested or harmed.

    • BLAH BLAH BLAH

Women are not Raped due to their Clothes .

Read newspaper little Girls of age 3-4 are also raped …

      Boys are also Sodomised.

      Perverted men Rape Women.
in 90% Rape cases the Rapists knows the Victim personally .

Perverted Men are the main cause of rape .. the idea that Man is Superior and powerful to women is the main cause of Rape.

      • Nonsense. Just because kids get raped does not justify women walking in bikinis. Its like saying because parliament was also attacked let me keep my doors open at night. We need public decency and cultural sensitivity. Not irresponsible behaviour.

      • Hey Are u telling me Women get Raped because of their Clothes??

U didnt tell me why 3-4 year old Boys & Girls are Raped ..

Men are responsible for Rape NOT Women ..

If u leave ur Door Open at night it may be ur Negligence but the Culprit is the Robber ..

Our behaviour will be according to our Situation ..

if ur Wife beats u Up dont vent ur Frustration here.

    • I don’t know where dumbasses think most women get rapped by walking down the street. Vast majority of women, and I mean vast majority get rapped by someone they know. Usually by a family member or a very close family friend. This is a fact. As bad as the cases of the women who are getting rapped by men who walk down the street, it is only very very small part of the rapes.

And in regards to beating women. Any man who thinks it is acceptable to beat their wife is a fool. The moment you think it is acceptable to beat your wife means the marriage is over. There is no excuse to beat your wife. I don’t give a shit what your religious book says, there is no reason to beat your wife. And if it does get to that point, your marriage is over you dumbshits. No excuse of beating your wife for any reason. If you start beating your wife, she is no longer your wife. She is your sex slave you get to use as you wish. Disgusting. And don’t give me that bullshit excuse that you need to do that to teach her a lesson. If you have to teach your wife a lesson by beating her, it is no longer a marriage. Your marriage is totally and utterly done dumbasses.

      • completely one-sided. many domestic forms of violence are inflicted by women on men and you behave as though it does not happen at all. Instead condemning all forms of DV you seem to state that only men hit women as though women never hit men.

    • 1) “shaved, let her be covered. For a man indeed ought not to cover his
head, since He is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory
      of man.”(Corinthians 11:5-7)”

While it is mentioned in Quran that Allah is formless and there can not be any image of allah. So how you can say that man is the image of God. So if it is mentioned in Quran then it is a lie in Quran.

      2) “The greatest speciality of Islam is that not only did it command women to dress decently, it went further and actually put forward the way in which it was to be done. Many of those who say that women are not to dress in ways that lead men astray however fail to give a clear picture of just such a way of dressing. Indeed, it is here that Islam emerges victorious.”

Is it really a gratest speciality of Islam to cover women in ISLAM. so Islam dont care the weather as it is hot or cold. So poor woman cover herself in very Hot also. It is not bad to cover herself but cover face also a very badest speciality of ISLAM. If you see cheristians that they show off his\her body. No cover rules on both :). If you see ISLAM then rules only for women to cover herself and protect herslef from men. No any rule for mens. Now see hinduism means sanatan dharam, vedas guide to women to cover herself decently but not fully as to cover her face also. Vedas guided to humans to have strong charaters as well as to men. Actually if a women cover herself with lot of cloths then still she can be raped. Becuase “Charaters should be strong for men and women.” Which guided only by hinduism.

  33. Agniveer there is something else to be greatly concerned, which has not gone unnoticed abroad. Please read this whole article “Lashkar-e-Taiba of Pakistan: An India Centric Threat Projection”
    By Saroj Kumar Rath
    http://ojs.st-andrews.ac.uk/index.php/jtr/article/view/406/433

“Within a year of the Mumbai attacks by Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), the public outrage that many thought would usher in a political groundswell for a firmer government response, has dissipated. Almost all the political figures who resigned as a result of the attacks either back in their old jobs or promoted to other plumb posts….India’s post-Mumbai public appraisal and official introspection is no match to the response of the US after September 11. India’s lackluster appreciation of the impending danger could be undersood from the fact that, while the US government has commissioned atleast a dozen of official studies on LeT after the Mumbai attacks, India government commissioned none….”

For this the people should not be ashamed but be shocked. The people should speak up and ask for true protection.

  34. I feel ashamed of the one-sided views and sexist mind that this blogger has and does not care to even ask how safe the men are in this society. We are living in this era of mad feminism and combined with traditional ills which treat men as disposable. Do you know the fact that more men are being attacked by criminals and more men die unnatural deaths in the course of duty or accidents? Then why this madness about women alone? Ok protection of women is important but not more important that protection and welfare of men. Men and women are equal and under no circumstances are women more important than men or the other way. Do you get it? I feel ashamed that there are men in plenty who are emotionally blind and sentimental fools when it comes to women. STOP this male hatred and sexism.

  35. A Narrow-minded article made by a narrow-minded Indian… really ? Female abuse is THE ONLY REASON WHY INDIANS SHOULD BE ASHAMED ??

    AH BLISS THE IGNORANCE !!!

  36. Hinduism has best woman rights, thus every single human being should know the women rights, and women should also know the rights of men. Love and trust, is all you need, give it a chance.

  37. >>>>Let even a slightest lewd sight, remark or gesture towards a woman be the most severe offense that we personally take.<<<<

I have a problem with this, and like to check the mind of Agniveer, if he is completely right and rational while saying this. I want to check his logical mind for speaking this.

I am also go very angry about rapes, female infanticide, bride burning and so on, but for the above quoted, I had to differ, because of very clear and rational stance.

If agniveer allow and have a guts to let me examine his logical ability, I would like to pose some questions about that.

    Thank you.
