  1. You’re absolutely right. What you eat and drink has a huge impact on your oral health. Keep up with your oral hygiene routine to ensure that your teeth are as healthy as can be. Consult your orthodontist for additional ways to keep your standard or invisible braces clean.

  3. In addition, take 3/4th of mouthful gingelly/sesame oil right after you get up from bed. It can be kept as it is in the mouth or better still, gargle it, as you would do to clean off your mouth after brushing. Keep the oil in your mouth for minimum of 20 minutes. Do not swallow, do not spit as yet. Once you clean off, you will notice that the density of oil has not only reduced to that of a normal water, but the color will also have changed. This is very good for overall health as well as for the teeth.

Thank you for this great and simple article.

  4. Somebody said “Honestly, tooth powder is NOT advisable and it’s an abrasive to your teeth enamel in the long run leading to sensitive teeth once the enamel wears off, and the same goes for Rock salt too.” I c.an remember Colgate was selling tooth POWDER throughout India during 80s. So you are saying Colgate was selling harmful chemicals to India which is NOT advisable. 🙂

  7. This post is a great reminder that prevention is still better than cure especially when it comes to our pearly whites. Thus, we should be keen of the food and other stuffs we put into our mouths if we want our teeth healthy for a lifetime. We must eat foods that will strengthen them and avoid those that speed up their decay.
