Prophet in Hindu Scriptures – An analysis (Part 1)

It is possible that this post is based on the translations and commentaries of Islamic texts like Quran, Hadiths etc. as published by all major Islamic publishing sources. These are the publicly available translations that are used for promotion of Islam by prominent representatives.

We, however, believe that most of these texts have been wrongly translated, misinterpreted, misquoted or even have been tampered with and interpolated to suit the selfish designs of proponents of Islam after Muhammad. Thus, we believe that original Islam and original Quran of Muhammad are totally different from what have been propagated by his followers in name of Islam. There are few minority groups in Muslims whose scholars subscribe to our views and interpret/translate Islamic texts differently or even refuse to consider the available Quran and Hadiths as authentic. But these scholars themselves are considered Kafirs and are condemned by a dominant elite group of Islam. Thus, when we refer to Islam, we actually imply these dominant elites of Islam and not Muslims or all Islamic scholars in general.

Wherever we critically evaluate Muhammad, we imply the fictitious Muhammad propagated by these false texts or their wrong translations and not the original Muhammad. We have high regard for original Muhammad who stood for non-violence and tolerance. Similarly, when we analyze Islamic texts, we refer to these questionable translations/versions and NOT original texts.

Further, we have a sense of the highest level of brotherhood for Muslims in general. Wherever we use the word Muslim in a critical manner, it refers to false representatives of Islam and not Muslims in general. Readers are requested to keep this in mind to understand the correct perspective of such posts on this website.

Nowhere should they assume the words like Islam, Quran, Prophet etc. to be referring to original noble entities, unless it has been referred in a positive light. We restrict ourselves only to notions prevalent in minds of fanatics and those without reason.

Myths on Hinduism

A relatively new propaganda seems to be on rage these days – that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) has been prophesised in Hindu Scriptures. This seems to be a great hit in major anti-India radical websites over last few years.

First, it is proved that the Kalki Avatar mentioned in Bhavishya Puran is none other than Prophet Muhammad. Second, it is also demonstrated that Vedas, the final authority in Hinduism, themselves sang praise of Prophet Muhammad.

In this series, we shall critically analyze the claims of this propaganda and bring truth to the fore.

The most popular promoter of this hoax is none other than the stage-performer Dr Zakir Naik who can recite page number, chapter number and verse number for any book on earth. His style is so hypnotic and entertaining that the audience no more has the space to check relevance of his references. The same style is evident in his writing as well, which form the basis of his memorized speeches.

And now, the confused youth has found a new passion that confirms their seat in Paradise. They would simply copy-paste from his articles and spread the good word around on internet forums, blogs and social networking sites. The print outs are circulated in colleges and schools. This is often very effective against certain less-well-versed Hindus who fall under the ploy.

I hope this article will at least serve as a ready reference for answering this propaganda through a similar copy-paste if nothing more. However if this induces an attitude of questioning among the readers to seek the truth, and at least reject the obvious falsehoods that come in this journey, I would consider my efforts to be fruitful.

Before we get into a more detailed analysis, let us argue a few more points:

One

Muslims have been in India for around 1000 years now. And for majority of the time, they were ruling this country. Why is it that Muslims could not discover this obvious fact in so many years? In fact, study of Vedas and Purans were more popular in those times than it is today! Why is it that no commentary on Vedas written by anyone since Vedas were first authored (they are considered the oldest books) could ever discover such an important fact which is to decide the fate of the world?

After all, as per Dr Naik, the only way to book a ticket to Paradise is by believing in Prophet Muhammad to be the last Prophet and his message being the only authoritative message of God! Thus no message of Vedas can be more important than this message, if it is indeed a true fiction!

Two

If indeed Vedas could prophesise coming of Prophet Muhammad, why not consider Vedas to be work of another Prophet? Is it not a miracle that the oldest book on earth could predict arrival of the last Prophet! So, why not accept Vedas as book of God?

The usual answer to this perplexing question is that Vedas may have been the first book, but Quran is last and hence only Quran has to be followed. Now my counter-question is that is God perfect or not?

If yes, which is what Quran wants us to believe, then why could not God give his first book as final edition? If God knows everything, what made him change his own theories? This means that God is imperfect.Here, when trapped, the proponents weakly argue that God’s knowledge is same but the application changes from time to time.

If that be so, should not a new Quran come now when the world order has completely changed from barbaric middle ages when Quran had to accept evils like slavery, polygamy and gender discrimination?

Further, Vedas talk of rebirth. They talk of monogamy. They talk of Law of Karma and refuse belief in Heaven or Hell. They believe that nature, God and soul are beginning-less and endless. Creation and Destruction happen in continuous cycles.

These are completely opposite to Quranic view of polygamy, one birth, permanent Heaven or Hell and this being the first and last creation of God that happened in few days a few thousand years ago.

I can agree to some extent to future plans being modified by God as part of some grand strategy, but how can even God change the history of universe that had already happened even before Vedas came in Quran, his revised edition of message? Is God so forgetful of what he has already done?

If that be so, what is the guarantee that he will not realize some more mistakes and send another edition of his message? Secondly, if indeed Vedas could predict about Prophet Muhammad, and Dr Zakir Naik sincerely believes so, should he not consider Vedas also as a book by Prophets?

If not last, at least the first one? This is where Dr Naik’s corrupt tricks get exposed. He fears that any admission of any other books apart from those followed by believers (Jews, Christians and Muslims) being given by God may put him in Hell forever, as per instructions in Quran. So in another article of his, he flatly refuses to admit that Vedas are indeed books of revelation.

He conveniently forgets that he himself has proved that Vedas gave the biggest prophecy of all times – the advent of Prophet Muhammad and claims that

“ There is no text in the Qur’an or Sahih Hadith mentioning the name of the revelation that was sent to India. Since the names of the Vedas or other Hindu scriptures are no where to be found in Qur’an and Sahih Hadith, one cannot say for sure that they were the revelations of God. They may be the revelation of God or may not be the revelation of God.”

We should also scrutinize what qualifications Dr Zakir Naik possesses to interpret Vedas? Is he a Sanskrit scholar or a Vedic Pandit? Or has he referred to works of any scholar? No! He simply lists names of some commentators on Vedas in his articles whom he has referred to.

Most of these are either western indologists who are considered authentic in first place, or some others whom only Dr Naik knows.

Further he does not provide exact translation by any of the scholars and only writes out the commentary that suits his pre-drawn conclusion. Even the western indologists did not hint on even remotest reference to Muhammad!

Thus all Dr Naik has done is following the old art of marketing, “That a lie shouted thousand times becomes a truth!”

And most importantly, by making claim of Prophet in Hindu Scriptures, this person and his gang have made greatest insult of the revered Prophet. They have denigrated the founder of Islam by their cheap gimmicks. Because, as we shall see in analysis, the verses cited by this gang to prove Prophet in Hindu Scriptures are actually talking about a demon and a mass murderer. For us, we have greatest respect for all religions and their founders. Thus we respect personal faith of each individual and are committed to stand against such insult against the sentiments of millions of Muslim brothers & sisters across the globe.

In next parts of the series, we will analyze the prophecy of Prophet in Bhavishya Puran and Vedas respectively. And we shall demonstrate how his agenda is to gravely insult both the noble Prophet as well as Hinduism.

    The Muslims claims that every human is born as a muslim but practices religion according to their bring up. So they claim non Muslim's revert back to Islam and not converted to their religion. What is vedic or historical opinion on this?

    • Historically, stories of the messiah's of Islam are known to be full of loopholes. Even these gossip tales date no more beyond few centuries prior to Judaism. None of these religions existed when Vedas emerged and millenniums after that as well.

      As per Vedas, every human is born a human, that's it. The original religion is that of humanity which is already existing in our minds, but blurred by ignorance. All texts including Vedas are means to remove that ignorance.

      Any religion based on blind belief, fear, (non)science is opium of masses. Any religion where questioning is not allowed is danger to humanity.

        i say:no one ever said that the quran is to be followed because its the last script… actually its to be followed because its flowless and preserved in its true form after the revelation. The vedda was written long ago by humans. And the language is not really alive right now. wts the guarantee you can give me that the vedda is in its correct form.. besides the quran has no scientific flaws, the quran was revealed in arabic and it is the only ancient language that is still very much alive and millions of people know arabic even today.. you believe wt the priest would say, not wt u actually find out!!!!

        surah al kafirun: surah 109verse1-6

        say: o disbelievers! i worship neither that which you worship; nor worship you that which i worship. And i shall not worship that which you worship. nor will you worship that which i worship. to your religion to me my religion.

        before you just talk out of ignorance just do research k. not what ya grandpa and grandma told ya..

        the jaazia tax was started by the invaders most probably in India. show me where the quran says to charge taxes from non believers in fact the quran says that every muslim should give 2.5% of his wealth every year….

I have a request, please visit the link I gave you and provide your valuable comments on each point so that every Muslim Brother and sister get some courage to discard the false Hadith and condemn the terrorists like Zakir Naik. Can you believe, not even a single Muslim out of the thousands visiting the site, has condemned the terrorists like Zakir and Osama.

        Anyway, what do you say about Quran [9:29]-

        “Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, [even if they are] of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.”

      • yes brother its there but why dont you read the whole verse. instead of misinterpreting… it is about the war the pagans waged to kill the prophet at that time.. god commanded to protect themselves by fighting back… this verse was revealed in teh battle field.. read the surah properly..

        the surah you just qouted 9:6-8 ( dont just jump to verse 29)

        and i anyone of the polytheists seeks your protection ( o muhammed ), then protect him so that he may hear the word of god. and afterwards convey him to his place of safety..

        same surah verse 3-5

        take them captive and besiege them, and prepare to ambush them. but if they repent and establish and pay the poor dude, then leave their way free.lo god is forgiving and merciful..

        and the verse 29 you just quoted read verse 30.

        Quran (9;30-31)

        Fight against such of those who have been given the scripture and believe not that which god has forbidden by his messenger, and follow not the religion of truth, until they pay the tribute readily, being brought low. and the jews say: Ezra is the son of god and the christians say the messiah is the son of god. that is theirsaying with their mouths. they imitate the sayings of those who disbelieved of old..

        ah alas see brother it was in the battle field against the yahudis, nasaatas, kaafir or the people of the books. not some stupid tax collection like you think.the tax thing was done during the sultanate in india not islam. pay the tribute just meant use their resources as in their weapons and etc after they surrender.. like india uses weapons they capture from enemies. it is a at the battle field brother read the verse. dont just qoute just because some old ignorant showed it to you out of context.. thank you brother

        Do you have a single account of Jews or Christiams attacking Mohammed?

        Mohammed was so cruel towards the the Jews that he escaped from his own quraish people and migrated to Yathrib (which he later renamed to Medina) ..He actually massacred them and that is well recorded in the Hadits

        The Christians never fought with Mohammed ..but still (:29 clearly instigates violence against both these religions as well as that of his ancestors (paganism)

        You lied about protection in 9:6 ..9:6 states that “grant him protection, so that he may hear the Word of Allâh (the Qur’ân), and then escort him to where he can be secure”

        so it means only those will be protected who accept Islam ..otherwise their heads are chopped.

        Quran 9:7 has been abrogated(canceled/substituted) by 9:5 ..here is complete 9:5
        Then when the Sacred Months (the Ist, 7th, 11th, and 12th months of the Islâmic calendar) have passed, then kill the Mushrikûn (see V.2:105) wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and prepare for them each and every ambush. But if they repent and perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and give Zakât, then leave their way free. Verily, Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

        Once agin ..only those lives are spared who convert to Islam

        The Makka belonged to the Quraish..the Medina belonged to the jews.rabs and christians alike ..Mohammed changed all that forever .his book incited hatred and lot many people were slain and subjected to the loot and plunder that is hallal in Islam

        2. Regarding Quran [9:6], if you would have read [9:5] then your confusion would have gone! Here is what [9:5] says- “But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, an seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem [of war]; but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oftforgiving, Most Merciful”

        Then comes [9:6], whose context [9:5] is shown above. [9:6] talks about those who are ready to accept Islam, which says- “If one amongst the Pagans ask thee for asylum, grant it to him, so that he may hear the word of Allah; and then escort him to where he can be secure. That is because they are men without knowledge”

        So it is clear that [9:6] talks about those who have accepted to become Muslims already and rest are to be killed as per [9:5].

        3. We talked about sects in Islam only because every sect of Islam calls itself as the true one and rest others as Kafirs. So in Islam, unless one knows which one is the right sect, he/she would be in hell for eternity if he/she belongs to a wrong sect. But in Hinduism, no one claims that only his/her path is perfect. Moreover they believe in rebirth and thus further chances to improve yourself and recognize true path is always there. That is why sects in Islam become important.

Why dont you see the same logic when i say that the quran is true and all these recent sects made up by people are not true. you say the veddah is preserved in its original form when no one even knows how the veddah first came to existence. so your telling me that the so much ancient vedda is fully preserved even after the language is long gone but the quran which was revealed in arabic which is still a worldwide religion is fault. no one would know when the vedda gets altered but every one will know when the quran is even considered to be altered by some evil organizations.

        I dont believe in any sect im a muslim who believes in the one ness of god and he chose a few out of us who(prophets) were qualified to spread his message to the human kind and muhammed( the praised one ) is the last prophet i pray five times a day concentrating with my mind instead of worshipping any thing that has an image. we all give 2.5% of our wealth to a person in need every lunar year. we fast to understand the suffering in the world and for various other reasons.

        (of his future) will overtake him and he will do the acts of the people of heaven and he will

        Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in the Old Testament:

        The Qur’an mentions in Surah Al-Araf chapter 7 verse 157:

        “Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures) in the law and the Gospel”.

        1.
        MUHAMMAD (PBUH) PROPHESISED IN THE BOOK OF DEUTERONOMY:

        Almighty God speaks to Moses in Book of Deuteronomy chapter 18 verse 18:

        “I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and I will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.”

        The Christians say that this prophecy refers to Jesus (pbuh) because Jesus (pbuh) was like Moses (pbuh). Moses (pbuh) was a Jew, as well as Jesus (pbuh) was a Jew. Moses (pbuh) was a Prophet and Jesus (pbuh) was also a Prophet.

        If these two are the only criteria for this prophecy to be fulfilled, then all the Prophets of the Bible who came after
        Moses (pbuh) such as Solomon, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Malachi, John the Baptist, etc. (pbut) will
        fulfill this prophecy since all were Jews as well as prophets.

        However, it is Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) who is like Moses (pbuh):

        i)

        Both had a father and a mother, while Jesus (pbuh) was born miraculously without any male intervention.

        [Mathew 1:18 and Luke 1:35 and also Al-Qur’an 3:42-47]

        ii)
        Both were married and had children. Jesus (pbuh) according to the Bible did not marry nor had children.

        iii)
        Both died natural deaths. Jesus (pbuh) has been raised up alive. (4:157-158)

        Muhammad (pbuh) is from among the brethren of Moses (pbuh). Arabs are brethren of Jews. Abraham (pbuh) had two sons: Ishmail and Isaac (pbut). The Arabs are the descendants of Ishmail (pbuh) and the Jews are the descendants of Isaac (pbuh).

        Words in the mouth:

        Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was unlettered and whatever revelations he received from Almighty God he repeated them verbatim.

        “I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.”

        [Deuteronomy 18:18]

        iv)
        Both besides being Prophets were also kings i.e. they could inflict capital punishment. Jesus (pbuh) said, “My kingdom is not of this world.” (John 18:36).

        v)
        Both were accepted as Prophets by their people in their lifetime but Jesus (pbuh) was rejected by his
        people. John chapter 1 verse 11 states, “He came unto his own, but his own received him not.”

        iv)
        Both brought new laws and new regulations for their people. Jesus (pbuh) according to the Bible did not bring any new laws. (Mathew 5:17-18).

        2.
        It is Mentioned in the book of Deuteronomy chapter 18:19

        “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not harken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.”

        3.
        Muhammad (pbuh) is prophesised in the book of Isaiah:

        It is mentioned in the book of Isaiah chapter 29 verse 12:

        “And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.”

        When Archangel Gabrail commanded Muhammad (pbuh) by saying Iqra – “Read”, he replied, “I am not learned”.

        4.
        prophet Muhammad (pbuh) mentioned by name in the old testament:

        Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is mentioned by name in the Song of Solomon chapter 5 verse 16:

        “Hikko Mamittakim we kullo Muhammadim Zehdoodeh wa Zehraee Bayna Jerusalem.”

        “His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters
        of Jerusalem.”

        In the Hebrew language im is added for respect. Similarely im is added after the name of Prophet Muhammad
        (pbuh) to make it Muhammadim. In English translation they have even translated the name of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as “altogether lovely”, but in the Old Testament in Hebrew, the name of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is yet present.

        Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in the New Testament:

        Al-Qur’an Chapter 61 Verse 6:

        “And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said, ‘O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me and giving glad tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmed.’ But when he came to them with clear signs, they said, ‘This is evident sorcery!’ ”

        All the prophecies mentioned in the Old Testament regarding Muhammad (pbuh) besides applying to the Jews also hold good for the Christians.

        1.
        John chapter 14 verse 16:
        “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever.”

        2.
        Gospel of John chapter 15 verse 26:

        “But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which
        proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.”

        3.
        Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 7:

        “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not
        come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you”.

        “Ahmed” or “Muhammad” meaning “the one who praises” or “the praised one” is almost the translation of the
        Greek word Periclytos. In the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, and 16:7. The word ‘Comforter’ is used in the English translation for the Greek word Paracletos which means advocate or a kind friend rather than a comforter.
        Paracletos is the warped reading for Periclytos. Jesus (pbuh) actually prophesised Ahmed by name. Even the
        Greek word Paraclete refers to the Prophet (pbuh) who is a mercy for all creatures.

        Some Christians say that the Comforter mentioned in these prophecies refers to the Holy Sprit. They fail to realise
        that the prophecy clearly says that only if Jesus (pbuh) departs will the Comforter come. The Bible states that the
        Holy Spirit was already present on earth before and during the time of Jesus (pbuh), in the womb of Elizabeth, and again when Jesus (pbuh) was being baptised, etc. Hence this prophecy refers to none other than Prophet
        Muhammad (pbuh).

        4.
        Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 12-14:

        “I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is
        come, he will guide you unto all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me”.

        The Sprit of Truth, spoken about in this prophecy referes to none other than Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

        I can send you the video of Abdullah Tariq Sahab, speaker of peace tv of ZAKIR NAIK in which he accepted Vedas as first divine revelation in the debate with Arya Samaj. Peace TV speaker was defeated badly in that debate.

        BTW Shankaracharya also admires that everything is GOD which is against Islam! So can i take Shankaracharya seriously in the matter of Din? If yes, why not believe everything is God, if no, how does it matter what he says about something which he has no knowledge of?

      • Al-Quran is the eternal miracle. It is the last Book of Allah sent for the guidance of humanity through the last Prophet, Muhammad, peace be upon him (PBUH).

        Revelation of the Quran

        The Quran was revealed piecemeal throughout a period of about 23 years. The Prophet received the first revelation in 610CE, in the Cave of Hira in the Mountain of Light (Jabale-Noor), two and a half miles away from the House of Allah in the city of Makkah in Arabia.

        The first revelation was the first five verses of Surah (chapter) Al-Alaq: “Iqra bismi rabbikalla dhi khalaq. Khalaqal insana min alaq. Iqra wa rabbukal akram. Alladhi ‘allama bil qalam. ‘Allamal insana malam ya’lam, ” which means “Read in the name of your Lord who created, created man from a clot. Read, for your Lord is most Generous, Who teaches by means of the pen, teaches man what he does not know.” (96: 1-5)

        The last revelation was the third verse of Surah Al-Maidah, which was sent down to the Prophet in 632 C.E. : “Al yawma akmaltu lakum dinakam wa atmamtu alaikam ni’mati wa raditu’ lakumul islama dinan”,” which means “Today I perfected your religion for you and completed my favor to you and have chosen for you Al-Islam as your religion.” (5:3)

        Surah Al-Fatiha (The Opening Chapter) was the first complete chapter to be revealed and Surah An-Nasr was the last.

        Divisions of the Quran

        Al-Quran is divided into thirty equal divisions, which are called juz in Arabic. There are 114 chapters, of varying length. The longest chapter is Al-Baqarah consisting of 286 verses and the shortest chapter is AlKawthar consisting of three verses only. The whole Quran has 6,236 verses (see Basic Stats on The Holy Quran )

        The chapters revealed before the migration of the Prophet to Madina are called Makkan, whereas those sent down after the migration are called Madinan.

        Topics of the Chapters

        Makkan chapters generally consist of brief sentences which are full of enthusiasm, poetical, lofty and brilliant. They stress the Unity and Majesty of Allah, the Most Exalted, Most High (SWT), denounce idol worship, promise paradise for the righteous and warn wrongdoers of their punishment in Hellfire, confirm the prophethood of Muhammad (PBUH), and remind humanity of the past prophets and events of their time.

        On the other hand, the Madinan chapters are lengthy and the verses are more prosaic. They outline ritualistic aspects of Islam such as Zakah, Fasting, and Hajj, lay down moral and ethical codes, criminal laws, social, economic, and state policies, give guidelines for foreign relations, rules and regulations for battle and the captives of war. They also contain descriptions of some of the early battles of Islam, condemnation of hypocrites, emphasis on the unified basic message of all the past prophets, and confirmation that the process of prophethood and revelation is complete, so that no Prophet will come after Muhammad [PBUH], no new book will be revealed, and Allah’s religion is complete through Al-Quran. So here Allah [SWT] exhorted the followers of truth to make Al-Quran as their only guide.

        The Importance of the Quran

        The Quran is considered the eternal miracle of Islam. It is the complete and best guide for living one’s life and seeking Allah’s pleasure The teachings of the Quran are universal, addressed to all people throughout the world regardless of their creed and color. They enlighten man’s soul, purify his morals, condemn all wrongs, order good deeds and call for the establishment of justice and fraternity through obeying Allah as the supreme authority. The Quran provides the regulations that create the proper relations between man and Allah and man and man. It leads man to understand his role in this world, encourages him to think and ponder, and guides him in the usage of natural resources. In short, the Quran provides all the guidance that humanity needs. Without the guidance of the Quran, humanity would still be groping in the darkness of ignorance.

        Compilation of the Quran

        The Quran was revealed piecemeal, according to the needs of the time. Angel Jibrail [PBUH] brought it to the Prophet [PBUH] who would memorize it. Afterwards, it was preserved in two ways.

        First, through memorization, there were a number of early Muslims who would memorize each revelation as soon as it was revealed and thus had the whole Quran memorized at the time of the final revelation. The tradition of memorizing the entire Quran still continues, and a person who does so is called a Hafize Quran.

        Second, the Quran was preserved through writing. Whenever any revelation took place, it was written at once on tablets, palm branches, shorn of leaves, or animal skin. This was done primarily by Zaid bin Thabit, who was the main scribe out of the 42 scribes of the revelation. The Prophet [PBUH] set the order of the chapters under the guidance of Angel Jibrail [PBUH] and ordered his companions to maintain that order. Abu Bakr, the first caliph of Islam, compiled the Quran, and Uthman, the third caliph, made numerous copies and sent one copy to each state capital.

        Eternal Miracle

        Al-Quran is the only ever living miracle. Today no other miracle of any prophet exists. According to a survey, the number of Huffaz (persons who have memorized the whole Quran) today is more than 10 million.
        Millions of editions and copies were printed and handwritten in almost every part of the world. They were also translated into most of the languages of mankind. During the period of over 1400 years since the Quran was revealed, not a single letter was changed. This is one of the greatest miracles of the Quran.

        Abu Sirma said to Abu Sa’id al Khadri (Allah he pleased with him): 0 Abu Sa’id, did you hear Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) mentioning al-’azl? He said: Yes, and added: We went out with Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) on the expedition to the Bi’l-Mustaliq and took captive some excellent Arab women; and we desired them, for we were suffering from the absence of our wives, (but at the same time) we also desired ransom for them. So we decided to have sexual intercourse with them but by observing ‘azl (Withdrawing the male sexual organ before emission of semen to avoid-conception). But we said: We are doing an act whereas Allah’s Messenger is amongst us; why not ask him? So we asked Allah’s Mes- senger (may peace be upon him), and he said: It does not matter if you do not do it, for every soul that is to be born up to the Day of Resurrection will be born.

        Book 008, Number 3373:

        Abu Sa’id al-Khudri (Allah be pleased with him) reported: We took women captives, and we wanted to do ‘azl (coitus interruptus) with them. We then asked Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) about it, and he said to us: Verily you do it, verily you do it, verily you do it, but the soul which has to be born until the Day of judgment must be born.

        Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 137:

        Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:

        Ibn ‘Aun reported: I wrote to Nafi’ inquiring from him whether it was necessary to extend (to the disbelievers) an invitation to accept (Islam) before meeting them in fight. The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) made a raid upon Banu Mustaliq while they were unaware and their cattle were having a drink at the water. He killed those who fought and imprisoned others. On that very day, he captured Juwairiya bint al-Harith. Nafi’ said that this tradition was related to him by Abdullah b. Umar who (himself) was among the raiding troops.

        Book 19, Number 4293:

        This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Ibn ‘Aun and the name of Juwairiya bint al-Harith was mentioned beyond any doubt.

        Comment: Thus, if any one of us has ever been invited to accept Islam (as done through Peace TV and websites), now we can be murdered by grace of Allah without any notice! Does Osama Bin Laden need any other justification? And That is why Zakir Naik cannot criticize Osama after all this?

        It is reported on the authority of Sa’b b. Jaththama that the Prophet of Allah (may peace be upon him), when asked about the women and children of the polytheists being killed during the night raid, said: They are from them.

        Book 19, Number 4322:

        It is narrated by Sa’b b. Jaththama that he said (to the Holy Prophet): Messenger of Allah, we kill the children of the polytheists during the night raids. He said: They are from them.

        Book 19, Number 4323:

        Sa’b b. Jaththama has narrated that the Prophet (may peace be upon him) asked: What about the children of polytheists killed by the cavalry during the night raid? He said: They are from them.

        1)Ok agreed Allah is eternal but it contradicts with the Islamic ideology. Islam or Quran claims only Allah alone is eternal but Quran claims Allah has been sitting on a throne, so this proves the throne existed with Him as well. If this is true, then Quran is proven false since it lies that only Allah is eternal. If Allah created the throne later, then was Allah standing on all this time? Did He get tired so that is why He created the thone???

        2)According to Mohammad, no body has seen Allah, really?? Then perhaps Mohammad forgot about the story of the previous prophets like Moses, who not only tried to see Allah, but also spoke with him??? How about Adam, did Adam not see Allah when Allah created him with his two hands??? Or did He load the Kun concept again???

        5)Same old question. Was Allah interested in seeing a drama?? Did He get bored of being alone??? He needed people to praise Him since he was suffering from superiority complex????

        6)Allah is pure? Why does He order the slaughter of millions of animals every year?? If Allah is testing people whom does He test when a woman gets raped? The woman or the rapist? What kind of disgusting tests does Allah give people??

        7)He does not have absolute power over everything?? I thought you said Allah is all powerful? Why this contradiction?

        8)Yes, God does exist our internal feelings are enough to prove His existence.

        9)Allah has already pledged our destiny in a book, so how does Allah know how are we going to be? Since islam does not believe in multiple births, Allah could not even keep a track record.

        10)Yes, Ishwar only made one religion, manavta dharam or Vedic Religion in which everybody will gain bliss or punishments based on their deeds not if he/she believes in God or not. Quran was invented by arabs for a new adoptation by plagiarizing Bible and Torah.

        11)Many “scientific evidences” were hoaxes. And I did not come across a single famous scientist who validated the Quran. Quran being memorized does not imply it is from God. I can memorize Shakespearean plays so does it mean it was from God?? What about the abrogated verses?

        12)Maybe the arabs wrote the Quran taking Allah in the perspective of a king who sits on the throne and rewards/punishes people based on their deeds. The same is the case of Quran of heaven hell as well. Or maybe We meant Mohammad and Allah, after all you have to associate Mohammad’s name in every prayer right, you cannot pray to Allah without believing in Mohammad?

        Praise be to God, Who sent a lot of Prophets and Messengers to this earth. The first Prophet of Islam is Prophet Adam. Yes, we are talking about the first human whom God created, because he was not only the first human but also a great, respected Prophet of Allah. Know without doubt that humans did not come from apes. No matter how many people talk about it, it is not true. The truth of the matter is that Allah created Prophet Adamafter He had created animals such as apes and the like. Our Prophet Muhammadtold us about the creation of Prophet Adamand the creations which were created before him, so no one should believe differently about these things.

        It is well known that Allah is the Creator of everything you see and you don’t see. As you can see around you all the created things have a beginning. You know this about yourself. There was a time when you did not exist, then you had your beginning. The same is true for the earth, the things on the earth, the sun, the wind, and the sea. These are the things that people call “nature”. All of nature has a beginning. If Allah had not created nature, it would not have existed. Nature does not create anything. Allah, the Creator, is different from His creation. Allah does not have a beginning.

        The first thing which Allah created was water. From this “original” water Allah created other things. You see, this water did not exist at all and then Allah made it exist. No one other than Allah has the power to do this. We want to tell you that Allah did not need that “original” water to create the other things, because Allah does not need anything.

        After creating the “original” water, Allah created a giant creation called the ^Arsh. This is a platform with pillars which is the ceiling of Paradise. This really exists although we do not see it now. This platform is up very, very high above the stars and what we see when we look up.

        Before creating Prophet Adam, Allah created all the other kinds of creation like angels, jinn, plants, and animals. He created this earth and others earths. He created Paradise, Hellfire, and seven heavens which are above us.

        After Allah created all the other kinds of creation, Allah ordered an angel to take a handful from all the different soil types on earth. Since angels never disobey Allah, that respected angel did exactly that. Some of the soil was black, some was white, and some was red. He also took from other soils that have colors in between. Some of the soil was soft and some was hard.

        The angel brought all of this soil to Paradise. After the soil was mixed with the water of Paradise it became clay. Allah made this clay dry and hard. Then Allah turned this dry clay into flesh, blood and bones with a human form. After some time Allah gave a soul to this form. As a result the first man became alive. He was called Adam. From one of the ribs of Prophet Adam, Allah created a wife for him. Every human being comes from Prophet Adam.

    • Bhavishya Puran continued to be written till late 19th century until printing press came. Its an unreliable book. But even it does not spare Muhammad from being a demon.

        There was a time when people used to wonder and argue that how a person can be a prophet for the entire humanity. They used to argue that the world is too big and the distances are too much for this to be true. However, in just 1400 years, the world has become a global village and it is not hard to believe now that Muhammad (s.a.w) is the prophet for the entire world and for all the worlds. Allah almighty says in the Quran,
        ‘Say (o Muhammad): “O mankind! Surely, I am sent to you as a messenger of Allah – to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He); it is He Who gives life and causes death. So believe In Allah and His messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write; who believes in Allah and His Words [(this Qur’an) the Torah and the Gospel and also Allah’s Word: “Be!” – and he was i.e. Jesus-son of Mary], and follow Him so that you may be guided.”‘(Surah-al-A’raaf (7), ayah 158)
        The Quran does not only stresses the on the importance of the universality of the prophet hood of Muhammad (s.a.w) but also that Muhammad (s.a.w) is the last prophet. The religion of Islam is complete now and there is no need for any other prophet now. Allah almighty says in the Quran,
        ‘Muhammad is not the father of any man among you, but he is the Messenger of Allah, and the last of the Prophets, And Allah is Ever All-Aware of everything.'(Surah-al-Ahzaab (33), ayah 40)
        The very fact that the Quran is revealed to Muhammad (s.a.w) is the proof that there is no requirement for any prophet now. Allah almighty says in the Quran,
        ‘And verily, it is an honorable respected Book. Falsehood cannot come to it from before it or behind (it was) sent down by the All-wise, Worthy of all praise (Allah)’ (Surah-Fussilat (41), ayahs 41-42).

        But Zakir Naik and Abdullah Tariq of peace TV have different views than yours! Zakir Naik accepted in his article that Quran is the seal of truthfulness of Arya Dharm (Vedas) and Abdullah Tariq of peace TV openly accepted that Vedas were first revelations from Allah!

The quran says in chapter 2 verse 115 that whither so ever you turn you can see the face of allah, How can allah have a face if he dont have an image, In quran also says in chapetr 2 verse 158 safa and marwa are among the symbols of Allah whoever compass them round there is no sin in them.       A Dharmic Follower may not have any major objection in believing the above ..but it is impossible for an Abrahamic Follower to believe in such an Entity.

      a) Abrahamics don’t believe in the “continued cycle” of creation,sustenance and destruction.They believe it’s a one time affair where the Abrahamic God whimsically and unjustly puts blind,deaf,mentally challenged and fit individuals all of them together through the almost similar test of life and then punishes whom he wills and rewards whom he wills.

      b) Abrahamic Gods are not all pervasive. The Xtian God comes down to earth to check what humans are doing and the Islamic prophet rides a horse/mule like animal to reach Allah’s residence.

      Dharmikas are only “advised” to do the above after having understood the manifest Godhood, but none of this is made “compulsory” and punitive as in abrahamic religions, where in we have examples where the prophet of Islam got an old believer killed who naively thought that bending down may not be compulsory in prayers

      So my friend, while dharmikas are advised to bow to the supreme in any manner they wish , the Abrahamics are forced to bow down whether they like it or not.

        I appreciate your effort to “find common ground” between religions…but I suggest you begin with your Muslim brethren…They seem to have hijacked your religion to unimaginable heights. I can trust Muslims more when they:

        (1)abolish death penalty for apostasy
        (2)make their countries secular – i.e. no shariah anywhere on planet earth.

        Until this happens, I feel there is no point going on about the “peaceful” verses in the Quran. You have more dawah pertaining to religious tolerance and secularism to do to your fellow brethren who number 1.5 Billion all around the world. I find it a bit out of place to be taught the finer points of secularism and tolerance by a Muslim!

        Should we look for “common ground” on corruption? intolerance? …I hope your answer , like mine, would be a BIG NO !

        Abrahamic religions, unfortunately have intolerance as their foundation as well as their motive for expansion. It’s in this context that i see any effort to find any “common ground” strategically flawed.

        With Islam , there is much bigger problem.Even if the flawed strategy is applied (owing to good intentioned muslims like you) there is a tactical bottleneck. No part of the Quran is open to reform. it’s a 7th century sealed document with 11th century sealed traditions 🙁 . Critiquing the Quran or the traditions of the prophet invites death penalty in muslim societies.

        In such a scenario , the idea of finding a “common ground” becomes void..since Islam is not open to change , all other religions must necessarily toe the line of Islamic theology ..which is absurd !

        would love to hear from you as to how you plan to eliminate this anamoly

        first of all i woud like to thank you for the kind attention to the point that i wanted to make.

        I personally beleive that any thing that exists in this world ….all that we see..and all that we do not …..all have its own merits …..and its own flaws …so constitution …the laws….or for that matter religion also..is not an exception…..
        I also agree that changes are a part of life and indeed change for betterment is always required ..otherwise…we would just stuckup in the old jargons and deviate from entire intent or objective of any law.
        But to make a change on anythng and accept it is really not a very easy task. it has a lot of pros and cons and a lot of ground work involved…also when we are instigating a change we do not knw that what this change will it bring along with..many a times it does bring all that is intended..but many a times …yes it brings a greater flaw and sometimes this is irreparable….
        Now when does this happen that man intends to change and but still renders fail???When does this happen??? this happened only when we concentrate on thse matters for change which are needless…which do not require change or require it in sme way which is out of the control of man.
        The change in laws and regulations of religion..is somewhat related to what i have described above….if I say that there should be change in quran …or the contents of it..like the capital punishment should be eased or the requirement of zakaat should be more elaborated or Some para’s should be replaced with a new one..etc etc…but then we will have to first of all think abt what is the need and then if need be there is that legitimate? & again if it be legitimate we will have to determine what impact will it bring……
        Now if I critically examine the guidelines or directions given in the quran…then personally speaking …there I do nt find any such a flaw that warrants change cause if some book guides me to believe in God and Pray and pay zakaat and fast and help poor needy and…

        Regarding the common ground …when we act with a common belief ..it is the whole ….and then start practicing a life of searching it……( GOD ) then we we cannot make our outlook restricted to one kind off thing only…then we initiate looking into other as well and then we determine that there is a uniqueness…in all that pervades and all that exists ….and all that we have and all that are dissimilar are very much similar in some or other sense when the elements of dissimilarities are removed……
        I always used to think since childhood that what is this religion all abt ……why the hell ppl rely on a book and what is the need for five times of prayers or what is the need of rituals that are done…but never had and integral study of the things ………Today after stdying a bit of all the religions do atleast knw that …al of them do claim more or less the same thinsg….and to my amaze I found out that 90% of the times ppl do that whats there traditions taught them and not religion…and the blame is on religion……
        I learned smething very good in Gautama Budhdha( PBUH) religion and in the word of prophet Muhammad(PBUH) too “Do not accept anything without rational appeal….the let it be anyone…your parents ..your teacher….anyone…you have right to ask question and take a rational decision.
        I holded this point tight in my life…I will not say this gave me salvation but yes …I knw I would be leading the whole life this way…like a student…like a researcher..and the truth shall only be discovered in only two conditions …..first either I die or my lord blesses me with the truth…..

        Also, abt intolerance…yes all the religions are for that matter intolerant to crimes and wrong things…..but in religions like Christianity..thse are explicitly written that one should be tolerant to other religion and faith and especially in islam it’s clearly mentioned to be tolerant to other faith….and that’s the reason prophet allowed ppl to practice there religion in his rule……
        You will find guidelines of tolerance in abrahimic faiths because they initiated in times when other faiths were prevalent but you wont find these on sme religions because when they were born no other religion were there in the place…….so no need of that writing……
        Hope the above points of mine are able to clear doubts to sme extent….pls ask if you have any mre questions…I shall be more than happy to answer them….subject to the fact that I should have the answer…and incase I do not then we both can make an effort to do R&D and dig answer out……

      • @ GK – A long comment. But I enjoyed reading. After a long time I saw some one rational. I will like to say only those on which I disapprove.

        1. Expansion of Religion – It is one of many reasons for which I don’t like the Christian missionaries and preachers like Zakir nayak. There is no harm, if one expansion is made logically, like Budhism and Jainsim spread once, and like the way Vedas taught by great scholar like Shankaracharya and Ramanujacharya. While preaching, they never used bad comments for others, they never said lies about others. But Zakir Nayak is spreading lots of lies to cook his bread. If one comes with logics, is most welcome.

        2. Tolerance – On the earth, when ever the word religious tolerance will be said, Hindus will be standing first. i am not saying it because I am a Hindu, but because history says so. By Hindu I mean Budhist and Jains too. With islam invasion, thousand of Hindus were killed in Afganistan (Hindu Kush), thousand of temple destroyed (Ram Temple at Ayodhya), universities and other educational institutes were destroyed (taxila). Later the poison of partition, the land to which Hindus worshiped for billion years as Mother Bharati divided into 4 parts. But this was not the end, Hindus of those lands were killed, tortured and they lost their importance on their own land. Later when Hindus claimed their own places of worship, they are denied. Even after all these, hardly one finds a sing terrorist outfit (that too I doubt of existence). But see, how many terrorist outfits are fighting in the name of Islam.

        I feel no problem when one is a muslim or one is a christian, I feel no problem when a hindu changes his belief, but I feel bad, when some one changes faith just for money, I feel bad, when one says Idol worship is worship of satan, I feel bad when chooses of Joker Nayak claim i am not following my religion properly. I feel bad for lies in the name of religion, hatred in the name of religion. I feel bad when thinks himself superior then me just because I am a hindu.

      Here’s the trouble with universalism. Krishna in the BG says that Prakriti and Jivas have been eternal. However, a Muslim NEEDS to ABSOLUTELY BELIEVE in Allah creating the universe in 6 or 7 or 8 days (depending on how one translates the Arabic word “Thumma”). Hinduism is against creatio ex-nihilo. Islam says Allah all of a sudden created something out of nothing because he all of a sudden decided to test us poor souls [who were non-existent] in a universe [which was non-existent].

      Which of the above makes sense to you?

      Also, whenever Muslims become the majority in a country, they have this nasty habit of creating a country for themselves. The same happened to India in 1947. So, how exactly do you expect Hindus to react to Islam? Will Islam reform or will Hindus have to adjust to its virulence and go on as if nothing happened?

Now regarding your question…that jivas are eternal and quran says that….everything got created in mere 6 days all of sudden….then where does the quran says that the JIVAS ARE NOT ETERNAL..indeed they…regarding the creation…there are many theories ….scientifically explaining that…..mass is created out of nothing and nothingness is a state which itself is everything. Now this goes in perfect sync with what is been mentioned in hinduism…that existence is an eternal cycle….it undegoes change and change is the rule of existence….the same thing is reconfirmed by quran that say….we created and make it to die and create again…..

        I agree that at the points of time the research may be in progressive stage concerning a matter and there may be a reconciliation, however, that does not give leaglity to calling for religious hatred and divide which will lead to a divide of humanity.

        Any religion in the world begins with faith….so I have a faith that all the religion bought the same message …..oneness of god and we all submitting to it.
