Quran and Vedas

It is possible that this post is based on the translations and commentaries of Islamic texts like Quran, Hadiths etc. as published by all major Islamic publishing sources. These are the publicly available translations that are used for promotion of Islam by prominent representatives.

We, however, believe that most of these texts have been wrongly translated, misinterpreted, misquoted or even have been tampered with and interpolated to suit the selfish designs of proponents of Islam after Muhammad. Thus, we believe that original Islam and original Quran of Muhammad are totally different from what have been propagated by his followers in name of Islam. There are few minority groups in Muslims whose scholars subscribe to our views and interpret/translate Islamic texts differently or even refuse to consider the available Quran and Hadiths as authentic. But these scholars themselves are considered Kafirs and are condemned by a dominant elite group of Islam. Thus, when we refer to Islam, we actually imply these dominant elites of Islam and not Muslims or all Islamic scholars in general.

Wherever we critically evaluate Muhammad, we imply the fictitious Muhammad propagated by these false texts or their wrong translations and not the original Muhammad. We have high regard for original Muhammad who stood for non-violence and tolerance. Similarly, when we analyze Islamic texts, we refer to these questionable translations/versions and NOT original texts.

Further, we have a sense of the highest level of brotherhood for Muslims in general. Wherever we use the word Muslim in a critical manner, it refers to false representatives of Islam and not Muslims in general. Readers are requested to keep this in mind to understand the correct perspective of such posts on this website.

Nowhere should they assume the words like Islam, Quran, Prophet etc. to be referring to original noble entities, unless it has been referred in a positive light. We restrict ourselves only to notions prevalent in minds of fanatics and those without reason.

Muslims claim that modern Quran is the final word of Allah and hence divine. Hindus consider Vedas to be the divine message of Ishwar. So how does one decide who is right and who is wrong?

In absence of easy access to relevant information in layman terms and preponderance of myths propagated by various groups to serve their own agenda, most Hindus and Muslims alike are bound to be extremely confused and subject to plethora of misleading notions. The objective of this article is to present an authentic perspective of both Quran and Vedas and evaluate their claims of divinity. I shall not dwell into content of modern Quran (we shall call it simply Quran for ease) because that has been dwelt in great detail by followers and skeptics alike and sufficient material is available online and offline. But let us evaluate some other aspects.

Facts about Quran
1.
Quran is supposed to be the final edition of God’s instructions sent through His beloved final messenger Prophet Muhammad.

2.
Muslims do believe that God sent His message from time to time for the people on earth. However Quran is the latest and final edition and hence all other versions stand null and void.

What remains unclear is why suddenly God decided to stop sending further editions of His knowledge? If you consider human history, situations were similar during times when Quran was sent or Bible was sent. But in last 200 years, world has changed significantly. The world today lives in a way that was never even heard of when Quran came! So what was the need for God to keep bringing new editions of His knowledge when none was required and suddenly refuse to send any further amendments when the whole world has changed. In fact, if a new version is sent today, its security and authenticity is much more ensured than it was ever!

4.
What also remains unclear is if God is perfect, why should His knowledge change from time to time? Or is it that God is also learning about the creation and hence improving? Some Quranics answer this by claiming that though God is perfect and His knowledge is also perfect, but application of His knowledge changes with changing times and hence new editions are required.

But this brings us again to previous point. Is it not then that greatest change has happened in recent years and hence we deserve a new Quran?

Further can anyone specify what new application or message came in Quran which was not applicable before that and suddenly became applicable? Apart from justification of slavery, sex-slavery, iron-hand treatment of non-believers and concept of Paradise and Hell, as explained by Zakir Naik!

Many Muslims claim that Vedas are first message of God and Quran the final. And as explained in previous point, they believe that God added a series of amendments from Vedas to Quran. But what is intriguing is whether God also kept changing structure of universe and even history of the world from time to time?

Few examples:

– Quran believes this life is first and last. Vedas state the concept of rebirth of soul.

– Quran believes that this creation is first and last. After that there is only permanent Hell and Heaven. Vedas state that creation and dissolution of universe is a continuous cyclical process with no beginning and end.

– Quran states that God sends messengers from time to time. Vedas state that God is all-powerful and does not require any messenger to bring any new concepts.

– Quran believes in Paradise and Hell. Vedas state that accumulation of good deeds lead to salvation and bad deeds lead to rebirth in various species. There is no permanent place like Paradise where one gets virgins and boys, and no place where one keeps burning in Fire.

– Quran believes that if one accepts Quran, Muhammad and his doctrine, God will forgive his or her past sins. Vedas state that no act of souls goes without paying its result. By worship and pleading, one ensures that bad deeds are not repeated in future. Hence good results start accumulating. But there is never a deletion of past records.

– Quran allows 4 wives and innumerable concubines for general Muslims and even more for messenger. Vedas clearly proclaim merits of monogamy. (Why did God decide to suddenly increase the quota is beyond comprehension?)

– Quran allows meat-eating but Vedas call for mercy on all living beings (Again, why did God become so offended by poor animals is beyond me)

Muslims also regard Quran as book without any distortions. However there are certain sects of Islam who regard that the popularly available Quran is not the authentic one. Some even claim that some verses in Quran are actually verses of Devil, and not Allah. There are fierce debates within various sects over which are such verses. There is a story that Muhammad in his fit (he is supposed to have something like epileptic fits in which revelations would come to him) revealed some verses. Later he retracted stating that they were passed to him by Satan and not the angel Gabriel

Another confusion that comes over infallibility of Quran is the fact that it was written not by Prophet Muhammad who received the revelations, as per Muslim belief, but by his followers after his death. They are said to have memorized the Ayats or verses of Quran as and when they were brought on in Prophet Muhammad by Allah through his agent Gabriel.

Now since it was Muhammad who was the messenger of God with special talents, and not his followers, there is question mark over authenticity of the first Quran itself that became publicly available. This doubt is further enhanced if we consider the fact that immediately after Prophet’s death there was bitter infighting among his followers leading to murder of several of its leaders and the celebrated split of Shia and Sunni. Every Moharram is a tragic witness to this brutal enmity.

Most of the ayats were revealed when Muhammad was alone with Aisha, supposedly her child-wife whom he had married when she was 6 years old. Now many sects claim that Aisha had actually planned the murder of Muhammad. It is a historical fact that Aisha fought for blood of other followers of Muhammad after his death. So how authentic can be claims of Aisha is a question mark.

Hadiths, which are books explaining Quranic verses and detail other events and sayings of Muhammad, are mostly composed from Aisha’s evidence. All the contemporary Muslim practices find their source in these Hadiths. Many of these Hadiths are source of huge controversy. Still they are considered necessary to understand Quran.

The story that is popular about origin of Quran is that Prophet Muhammad went to a certain mountain cave when verses of Quran were revealed to him through an angel called Gabriel. The festival of Ramadan is celebrated to mark this period of Prophet’s stay in the cave. However, while this was inception of the Quran, most of the ayats (verses) were revealed from time to time throughout the life of Prophet.

The Tafseers are explanations to Quran which get into more detail on how and when a particular ayat was revealed. For example, in Arab there was an evil custom of people considering their adopted sons to be equivalent to their own sons. Muhammad wanted to put a stop to this evil custom. So Ayats were revealed to Prophet by Allah which made him marry his adopted-daughter-in-law after having her divorced from his adopted-son.

Tafseer-e-Jalayan narrates another event when Prophet had visited her wife Hafsa. She was not in home that time. So Muhammad started having sex with his slave-girl Maria on Hafsa’s bad. Hafsa was hurt when she witnessed this. Then an ayat was revealed stating that it is Allah who has legitimized the slave-girl for Prophet and he has no rights to go against wishes of Allah.

These raise questions that was God a home-agent of Muhammad so as to reveal the Quran during such embarrassing private affairs of his?

This is how, from time to time, ayats were revealed which were later compiled by Prophet’s companions after his death.

11. Recently a lot of myth is being propagated that claims that Quran contains miraculous descriptions of scientific phenomena. You would find many a barely-literate Quranic scientists trying to convince the world about science in Quranic verses. Zakir Naik has also written a book on this.

But all that these attempts do is to make big mockery of Quran and purpose of Muhammad. For example, there is a verse which says that sky is vast. Now Zakir Naik changed word ‘vast’ with ‘expanding’ and claims that Quran predicts expanding universe!

The attempts to prove science in Quran is supposed to be as old as Quran itself. And as new discoveries came up, the descriptions changed. In fact earth was flat for centuries till modern discovery proved it to be round. Now suddenly new translations of Quran claim earth is round.

Similarly, till seventies Saudi Arab funded research to prove that sun moves around the earth as indicated in Quran. And now Zakir Naik has changed his stand.

Most experts of Islam would suggest translations of Yusuf Ali and Pickthall to understand Quran. They refer to Tafseer-Ibn-Khatir. None of these prove any science in Quran. However certain verses are smartly inserted and changed to prove new science in Quran. Ask them to provide exact meaning as in these translations, and they would tour mum. Several stories of funding these researches through petrodollars have been exposed since long. A basic google search would reveal many such examples.

And you would find many a intermediate-educated scientists of Zakir Naik School of Islamic Sciences arguing vociferously on these scientific topics in spirit of Nobel Prize winners!

To counter the allegations that the Quran existing today is unlikely to be authentic, or to prove that Quran is final word of Allah, Islamic scientists provide a simple test. They challenge anyone to produce even one verse like that in Quran. Since that is impossible, hence Quran is final authentic word of Allah.

I never heard of anything more hilarious than that!
It is as if I claim that Satyagni is the final authentic messenger of Allah. And if you deny, then I challenge you to produce even one person like me – who has same face, voice and physique!

In their fanatic zeal, they forget that this challenge is valid for almost every creation of human and God. All books, all songs, all dramas, all cricket matches, all football matches, all elections, all bus queues, all terrorist attacks can be subject of such a challenge exactly like Quran.

Once, Pandit Mahendra Pal Arya was issued a similar challenge. He uttered several verses in Arabic and asked the crowd to tell which of them belong to Quran and which do not. They agreed that all belong to Quran. But none were from Quran. He had simply created few verses in Arabic!

Recently, a new Quran has been created in America and no one has been able to counter their claim that they have met the challenge of reproducing another Quran. It is called Al-Furqan which is another name for Quran.

Facts about the Vedas:

1.
The Holy Text of Hinduism (Sanatan Dharma) are the Vedas. Vedas are acknowledged as the oldest texts by researchers world over. The Hindu belief is that Vedas were revealed by formless God during inception of human civilization.

Vedas remain unchanged since then. And its quite a wonder that has amazed scholars across the world, that Vedas are still available in the same pristine form even today. This was made possible through a mathematical system of Patha Vidhi where various permutations of mantra recitations were memorized. Such sophisticated is the accuracy of these various permutations, that not even a syllable of Vedas has altered  ever. Gurukuls mastering each of these Patha Vidhi exist till date. Any discrepancy can be easily cross-checked with a different permutation of Patha. Max Muller termed it as greatest miracle of human civilization.

Many skeptics do try to prove that Vedas have been written at various points in time or that Vedas as available are not authentic. But they fail to provide any credible reason to claim so. At best, there logic is that no text can remain unchanged so long, or that different parts of Vedas have different kind of language hence they must belong to different era. They conveniently forget that different parts of Vedas explain different concepts and hence have different language. Even same author uses different language for different contents – articles, stories, poems, reports, mails etc.

Now in sync with the unchangeability of Vedas, Hindu belief is that knowledge of God never changes because knowledge of God is also perfect if God is perfect. A cursory glance over Vedas would reveal what this means. What we find is that Vedas do not contain ritualistic or geography specific instructions or guidelines. Instead they contain more fundamental concepts that remain true – like laws of nature – in all circumstances, time periods and geographies.

Unfortunately, even many Hindus try to relate Vedas with geography in past and the names in Vedas with persons in past. However there is no reason for this. In fact, language originated from Vedas and hence also names of people and places.

To a neutral person, Vedas would appear more like a book of physics or self-help concepts whose contents are universal applicability. That is why Vedas are supposed to contain seeds of all forms of knowledge. However specific details and applications are left to be worked out by human beings, because that would change from time to time and geography to geography.

Vedas have a very simple language. But problems come in interpretation because of following:
– like any book of science, they demand a scientific spirit
– since they discuss most fundamental concepts, they demand a minimum control over mind and its tendencies
– since language originated from Vedas, interpretation of mantras through later day usages of words is a stupid exercise. This ploy has been used by western indologists to denigrate Vedas and now promoted by those who have their own agenda. For example, word Vishwamitra in Vedas refer to a person who considers entire world as his friend, and not to a person born during Ramayan.
– same mantra of Vedas can have different meanings and hence they require sincere introspection

There are 4 Vedas – Rig, Yajur, Sama and Atharva comprising around 20,000 mantras. Rigveda deals mainly with concepts and knowledge. Yajurveda deals more with duties of humans, Sama focuses on devotion and Atharva provides applications of the previous three aspects. There are many mantras which repeat in various Vedas. This is not a flaw, but essential to convey different meanings in different contexts.

Apart from Vedas, there are Upavedas, Upangas, Darshans, Brahmans and Aranyaks among the ancient Vedic literature. Then we also have Upanishads and Smriti. But all declare that Vedas are the divine revelations and rest are creations of noble sages to explain various aspects of Vedas. Applicability of these may change from time to time, but Vedas remain unchanged.

Thus Vedas leave no scope for any messenger to come ever to bring new discoveries of God’s knowledge. Its a different matter that noble people do take birth from time to time to set right examples and explain the Vedic knowledge better. These include all the sages, role models and even our freedom fighters. But none can equal God or claim special status of a messenger. Each soul has the capability to rise to that level through efforts.

Vedas clearly lay the purpose of this life to get rid of sorrow through removal of ignorance. The ultimate state of no-sorrow is called Moksha. This is not a state of deep sleep as many propagate. On contrary, it is a state of ultimate awareness. This has to be achieved through right knowledge, right actions and right devotion. There are no shortcuts to this and there is no concept of escapism in Vedas.

Scholars claim that all sciences originate from Vedas. However unlike in case of Quran, this is not based on mere word-play to fit in new discoveries. The advancement of ancient India in science and technology is a well-established fact. Swami Dayanand Saraswati in his book “Introduction to Vedas” and translations of Vedas described mechanism of building an airplane. He died in 1883 and the first plane was built in 1904. In seventies, IISc while condemning an ancient text on aeroscience as fake admitted that the plane as explained by Dayanand is a working model. 12.
The claim of Vedas for being revelations come from following:
– They being available from inception of civilization. No one has been able to date them
– They are resistant to any kind of change, even in a syllable
– They contain description of all kinds of knowledge
– They are sufficiently open-ended to live scope for applications as per time and situation and do not contain specific sets of injunctions that are time-bound
– All ancient texts accept the supremacy of Vedas
– Certain puzzles remain unresolved if we assume that knowledge did not exist from inception. These include origin of language, old languages being more complex and new ones being simpler, commonality in several basic practices across remote parts of the world – respect for parents, avoidance of incest, language, rituals, and in fact origin of several tools used around the world etc.

13. Many contemporary practices commonly associated with Hinduism are not derived from Vedas. They are more of social practices that have evolved over time and are not subject-matter of Vedas. Some are in fact against the Vedas because masses are unaware of Vedas today. However, since Vedas call for peaceful coexistence and prohibit brute-force methods to force otherwise good people to behave or believe in a specific way, there is no concept of non-believer or Kafir and their thrashing. And hence its an essential feature of Vedic society that peaceful people are provided full liberty to explore the truth in the way the want. The only situation where brute-force approach is advocated is when certain people act like criminals or fanatics.

If I were to translate this to present day application, in Vedic society, all the different sects and religions would be allowed to live in peace and harmony and explore truth, but the likes of Osama Bin Laden and those who support Osama Bin Laden would be dealt with in a brute force manner.

    The Vedas are in the sanskrit language and for people reading the sanskrit, i like to point out that the word Hindu itself is alien in sanskrit language. So, to claim that Vedas talking about the religion of hindhu is really misleading as the book talks about the religion of God. The same goes to the quran, the book ask people to follow the religion of Abraham, so the whole content of the quran lead people to the truth. It did not have anyting to do with the religion of Muhammad that is created by the enemy of God.

      1. Yuga means tiem period ..Yoga means union (of body mind and soul)..so it’s kali yuga and not Kaali Yoga. Also kal means instrument/machine ..so kali yuga is the era of machines ..whereas Kaali is a puranic Hindu Goddess ..the destroyer of time (Kaal in hindi)..so please don’t mess up words 🙂

Not only Muslims, but the Quran itself makes a companion between Muhammad and God …and it is most evident in the shahada itself ..you cannot become a muslim UNLESS you make a comnpanionship between Allah and Muhammad ..aren’t you required to say “there is no god but allah and muhammad is his messenger”? …so please don’t use your Taqiyya (lying) mind here

      3. True knowledge is never restricted in books ..it’s always within us ..yes the books of knowledge of others who have reached enlightenment does help a lot
      While the Vedas are books of knowledge to BE INVESTIGATED AND CROSS_CHECKED by the seeker of truth ..the quran DEMANDS its followers to surrender their minds to the book 🙁

    1) Have you attained the supreme knowledge to say this is right and that is wrong? The point is without clearly understand something that is going to happen and seek knowledge that can save our own souls then is there a purpose of the revelation after all?

    2) Do not believe what the Muslim says because what they claim cannot be supported by the quran itself. Trust me if you verify the quran, you will not find the shahada in the quran. The only testification you will find is There is No God Except Allaha. As I say it before al quran got nothing to do with Islam.

    3) I agree with you that the truth is everywhere because everything is created by God. Why are we a SLAVE to God? Based on my understanding of the Bhagavan Gita, we do not own our body. We are just a soul trapped in a body, so everything we do like walk, talk etc is by the will of God. The ultimate test is to acknowledge that everything belong to God. Our souls are limited by time, space and place where God the Supreme Being is unlimited and unmanifested. As such, we worship and enslave ourself to the Supreme God. Knowing this fact, then we will be able to detach ourself from the burden of this world and material attachment that is impermanent. When doing what we are asked to do and made to do, we will attained the blissfulness and the ultimate happiness granted by God.
    The experience is out of word to describe as being near to God is the feeling something beyond imagination.

      a) Allah takes special pains in condemning Muhammad’s uncle to hell fire
      b) Allah takes speacial pains to justify Muhammad’s multiple marriages and in one case Allah act as as a Qazi to marry the prophet to his daughter in law
      c) Allah makes war booty halaal on Himself and Muhammad
      d) Allah categorically states that those who disobey the messenger have disobeyed Allah

      what more do you need to confirm that Muhammad is Allah ..and if still in doubt ..just look at what Muhammad did..after Zainab Allah told Muhammad not to marry any more wives ..but since Muhammad was Allah ..he disobeyed his own orders with impunity ..he married lot more despite that declaration.

      Slavery and Fear are the greatest impediments to Realization ..unfortunately Quran instills fear amongst it’s followers and demands violence against non-muslims..that cannopt be the order of the God that create us all at all.

      Any sane mind can know that God can only be about Love,Realization and freedom ..freedom from evil and fearfulness.

      But the God of Quran is a different species altogether..here is what must happen when you hear the name Allah (not for non-muslim but EVEN for muslims) :

      “Those only are BELIEVERS whose HEARTS become FULL OF FEAR WHEN ALLAH IS MENTIONED”

      Is that what you call spirituality and liberation ? ..instead of feeling LOVE of God ..you start feeling FEARFUL at the mention of the name of god??

      any name that instills fear can never bring salvation or peace to the mind ..it can only create a timid zombie who would even compromise his values to avoid the wrath of such a despotic god

  4. Did i say that the quran preach religion of Islam? The word Islam itself is alien during the time of prophet because the quran without sign and mark. The Quran talks about the religion of Abraham and surely all the prohet follow the same religion including the prohet the given the quran by his Ahmad. So, if the quran is talking about religion of Abraham, surely other religion started with the right religion and later corrupted and that is why messenger and books/revelation are sent to bring people back to the actual religion.
    The act of prayer stated in the quran like bow and prostrate, did this act also said in the Veda? Surely there is because we are talking about the same religion. People before the time of Muhammad, that is the messenger/prophet before him follow the same act because al quran mentioned that all the prophet and messenger also pray during their lifetime. Did Muhammad teach how to pray? The answer is no, because it is an act and it has always being practise that way, just that for some part of the world they have lost this act due to corruption in the religion.
    The meaning of riba is suspicious. In the quran, God allow trade but forbidden riba. If you go to any bank and apply a loan with all the terms mentioned in the agreement like monthly payment, tenure, penalty charges ect, is there any suspicion in the agreement? Surely not then it is an allowable trade. What its mean by riba is let say you borrow from the bank and there is no tenure of payment or the interest rate is not stated and the bank can charge as they will, or penalty charges is not mention. Surely that is a riba.

      • The last book is corrupted by the marks and signs, so that the enemy of god can create the religion of Islam. That is why you will find a lot discrepancies between the teaching of book and the teaching of Muhammad. Islam claimed they used the book as guidance but in actual fact all laws are taken from lies called Hadiths.
        The story of the compilation of book is from where? The book itself testifies that it was brought down in a month of Ramadhan. As such, there are no arguments in the book that says that the prophet cannot write.
        The actual word to refer to the book is Al Qoraana which actually mean READ.
        Why is it that the stories in book also includes stories from torah and injil? It is because in those books, most of the stories have been corrupted by not all. That is why, the instruction in the book told us to believe in the books sent before as you will only understand the whole history by combining the books.
        The whole history of mandkind from creation of Adam till the revelation of the end of days has been told. Its is like we are living in a big movie where we are the players. The objective of human is to recognise and understand that they are the players in the movie and do not attach to the movie as the whole existence of the movie set is temporary and impermanent. Most people live and dedicated their lives solely on richness, beauty, power etc that is material in nature. By doing this, they will never be satisfy and will keep on accumulating something that is temporary. When their life ends, they failed to achieve the purpose of their existence and they live an unsatisfied life and a horrible ending.
        Everybody living in this world are tested and nobody is leading because we started at zero. It does not matter in which religion you are born because most of the people that says they follow a religion actually did not follow the instruction in the books sent from god.
        For example, you attack Islam by finding fault in the quran. The thing is the quran did not preach about Islam. All your knowledge about Islam is from what you read from a source that most people believe. If you know a lot about Islam, then i should called you a muslim. However, are you in right track after all because you failed to recognise that the book did not confer with Islam.
        God sent books to the prophets in different times and they all preach the same thing. Thats why everybody think that religion is good, however no body actually try to understand all the books that are sent. People keep on trying to find difference in those books and not the similarity as such they will always disagree. In the end, they failed in their test finding the truth.

  5. In the quran, God asked people to fast as the people before have fasted. Surely you will find the word fasting in the bible and vedas, the only different is the period of time have varied, such quran is the last revelation to lead people back to the truth.
    The quran itself tells us that the prophet’s name is Ahmad, so Muhammad is a false prophet. The story that you talk about is based on lies made up by the Arabs. You will not find this in the quran.
    Before you get tense by the word kaffir, let me explain it according to the quran. Kaffir means disbelieve in God and the books that he sent to the people. In order to become a believer, you must read and undestand God’s commandment and live by his guidance. When you did not believe in God, surely you live without guidance and thus creating world a violence place. In the quran, God asked the people to trust the quran and the books sent before it. The question is did the poeple follow this command? Did any of the people read the quran, veda, bible and other scriptures that are said coming from God? Why did the people differentiate each books by a religion? Did the people of hindhu, read and understand the Vedas? Did the Muslims read and understand the Quran? Did the Christians read and understand the bible?
    So, why people branded the others Kaffirs where they don’t even believe in God’s command and follow the teaching of the books. These people create violence and tense in the name of religion. Surely, world are full with people that are looking for ways to create more suffering in this world then making it peace and harmony. In the quran, God asked us to preach the right religion and do what god asked us to do. This mean behave in a good manner and live peacefully.

      I have the following questions. Please be truthful before answering:
      1) If islam is the ‘ONLY WAY’, please help us understand why there are billions of non-muslims who are successful, intelligent, happy, healthy, cheerful and live life with so much zest and vigor? If allah is the only true god, why is he bestowing all the good things on those who DONT pray to allah? If allah had been merciful, should he not have set things straight by NOT blessing the non-muslims at all, there by making it much easier for non-muslims to accept islam?
      2) Why should allah bestow the non-muslims with success, health, happiness and cheer etc even though they pray to a different god, thereby putting the non-muslims under a delusion that they are praying to the ‘true god’ only to burn them in hell fire after they die? Will any merciful god do this?
      Is this in anyway logical?

      Please understand that it is only the ‘INTENSITY OF FAITH” that matters and NOT the object of worship. It does not matter who you pray to as long as you have well-intentioned thoughts. The only reason why we have religious wars is because everybody thinks “My Religion is THE ONLY WAY”. PLEASE come out of this shell. Please take a look at the world around you and SEE for yourself that people who dont pray to allah are ALSO very happy, healthy, cheerful, successful etc. Please ask yourself WHY? WHY? WHY?. Why on earth should the ‘ominipotent’ allah who creates everybody would bestow so many good things on these non-muslims happy and put them under a delusion that they are praying to the ‘true god’ only to condemn them in hell after they die? Does this have any logic?
      These are the typical muslim answers I get:
      1st ans) The happiness you experience on earth is only temporary. not permanent. Allah alone gives
      permanent happiness
      My response: How do you say this? What is the proof? Just because it is stated in quran does not make it a proof. Do you have an instrument that measures the ‘amount’ of blessings and ‘duration’ of blessings given by each god to prove your point:) ?

      2nd ans) If you want to experience the blessings of allah, please experience it by accepting allah
      My response: Well, this is something that EVERYBODY says about their religion. This just cannot be a proof.

      3rd ans) Many people are converting to islam
      My response: This is a disputable statement. If you look into internet, there are many many sites that state otherwise by giving statistical figures. Especially in islamic countries, people are discarding islam in large numbers, but they are afraid of being open about it since they could be killed (punishment for apostasy in islam is death). Anyway, just because there are numbers, it does not make it right. There was a time when majority of the people believed that earth was flat. Now we all know it is not true. If something has to be certified as correct, it has to stand the test of logic and truth. Please look at the questions ‘1’ and ‘2’ to see if islam actually passes this test of logic. If you are open and truthful, you will realize that it does not. I would be particularly interested in your answers for the questions ‘1’ and ‘2’ that I have posted.

      4th ans) Other religions also have similar absurdities.
      My response) If there is something absurd in your religion, instead of accepting the absurdity, why do you justify it by pointing out a similar absurdity in a different religion? How does it justify or negate the fact that islam is absurd?

      My response: This is a classic way to accept defeat. If there not logical answers, this is what muslims finally say.
      Once again as I said, please ask yourself WHY? WHY? WHY?. Why on earth should the ‘ominipotent’ allah who creates everybody would bestow so many good things on these non-muslims happy and put them under a delusion that they are praying to the ‘true god’ only to condemn them in hell after they die? and you know what…this happens to 70% of the world population.         I agree that we should go back and study the scriptures as that is the only way to finding the truth. However, the word hindhu itself is alien to the scriptures and if hindhu is the right religion, India should conquer the world right now. The scriptures gives instruction how to live life in the manner that is fullfilling. For example, you produce a car and give manual on how to drive it. However, the owner of the car did not drive using the manual, they drive as they wish and the car broke down. This is the same with us human being, god created us and knows what is best for us, the problem is did we read the books that he sent in order for us to live a great life?
        The religion of god, according to the quran and bible, will rule the world once again and that is a promise from God. The Vedas also talks about the coming of the last maharishi.         Please see conflicts in Sudan/Somalia/Ethiopia/Chechenya. Why there are issues in these regions ? Have you heard of Darfur problem. Christians have helped modern society in science and Muslims want to go back to the pre-historic times (by using Science of course). Can you think of the same position in INDIA where Hindus and Muslims are blood-related and every-poissble effort is made to make sure that this proof is destroyed by letting the blood of all innocent Hindus (Actually Sanatanis) to be pour out from their bodies.

        Indians junior school-students were fooled by this political Party for many decades that India was discovered by Columbus and before that, India was limited in its territory for all its commercial and social activities.

        I sincerely request to go through the memoirs of all the so called Eminent (Cruel) Islamic invaders, who have themselves declared that they were proud Ghazis.

        If these questions are answered by Dr Zakir Naik that as per Islam, its believers should go to every country and kill dis-believers to become ghazis, then — please ask the following question:

        I) Is America doing the correct thing by getting into these countries ruled by Islam ?
        II) Are all countries correct, if they consider Islam as their biggest threat and enemy to the humanity ?
        III) Does everyone have rights to invade middle-east and establish their supremacy there ?
        IV) Are America/Jerusalem allowed to destroy cities, sacred regions, holy literature and their faith?

        I do not want to justify the cruelity by Islam and its followers. Please become human being first and then think of other Human-Beings. Religion should come at the end when you are going to sleep.

        Go through all the available ancient testimonials written by these cruel people or by their contemporary historians/writers. As I said, take your time, and go through the questions that I have discussed and then go through the Autobiographies of these so-called eminent (Cruel Personalities).

        I know that Muslims even when becomes educated are RIGID, Orthodox and Conservative in thinking.

  9. Throughout history Brahmins were neither rulers nor business people. There is no evidence that they are all educated except for the fact that they all have been trained in the skill of chanting Vedas. But that is no education in today’s standard. The rulers and business people of yester years (Kshathriyas and Vaisyas) had better education on the intricacies of Vedas than the Brahmins and those communities enjoy reservations now!Why not the Brahmins?

    In a way the Brahmins and Sudras are alike in many ways. They are both faithful to their masters .

      Why submit to Allah because he/she is not rational. On earth, we are animals with social responsibilities. Otherwise, why do we consider our siblings as brothers as sisters and maintain a level of respect for them.

Even I used to consider myself as a Brahmin (By Birth). This platform by Satyagni ji proved that I was wrong and even my parents are wrong. When I as a Hindu can accept this fact then Muslims should realize that they live in Blunder.

      I have realized that Brahmins have be to Pundits in any of these areas like:

      A) Vedanta
      B) Medicine and Meditation therapy (Ayurveda/Homeopathic/Allopathic/Yoga)
      C) Mathematics
      D) Logics and clean Literature
      E) Science and Humanities
      F) Spiritualism

      I neither possess anyone of these areas, nor have the acumen to prove myself as a true Brahmin. This proves that I am a mere Brahmin by Birth and not by Karma.

      I salute to Pt Mahendra Pal Arya, who deserves to be a true Brahmin/Pundit. It really does not matter what was his history but what matters is his Karma. He has proved that he is a Brahmin/Pundit by true sense.

      Dharma should be for whole world and all pranis (Be humans or animals).

      There are two categories of objects:

      1) Jad (Dead)
      2) Chetan (Living with senses )

      1) Jad is a matter to be part of any place, thing or even a living being as its food or clothing etc.

      2) Chetan can be further sub-categorized in:
      2.a) Char (Moving bodies)
      2.b) Achar (Fixed Bodies)

      Just of these two (Jad and Chetan) categories, one can get logical explaination in Vedas. However, in the due course of time, Hindus were too much infiltrated by these cruel invaders, who either by hook or crook, got the myths either created or appended into their fictions.

      It has become imperative now for everyone in world to go through Quran in their mother tongue (By translating the verses in its pure Arabic Form). This would help them to see as to why they are living beneath/beside the Sword and Spears. Vedas would then come for their rescue to prove its eternal truth.

    • Dr Zakir Naik know that his ancestoral father is not Muslim, However, his ancestral Mother was definitely a Hindu. She his surname/physique [ Is he ARAB/Mongol/Pathan]. I have sympathy with his ancestral mother. He is trying to justify whatsoever happend with his ancestors. He seems to be half-Hindu and Half-Muslim. That is why, one part of his Hindu genes say Puranas ( As Vedas, which is not the case), and another part says QURAN [ Sound similar to Puran in phonetics] .

      Quran can be a considered a book or WAR or the corruption of Mahabharat at its peak. We can also say that QURAN has only one side of Mahabharat – ie… Shakuni [ Duryodhan was still a much better person as Suyodhan). Compare the length of Quran and Mahabharat, you will find no match.

      Just think of Hindus, who would switch from Krishna to Shakuni or Duryodhana as their Role Models like Muhammad. Duryodhana seems to be much better person as he was against his brothers.

I have gone thru all the comments but no body has looked deep in the time and conditions ,when Quran came to Arbic world.That was a wild jungle raj there at that time.Woman used to trade themselves for food .Looting decoity was common profession.Very less fertile land and deep poverty.It was a barbarian race.Whatever Arabs got was the first guideline in the form of Quran for social life.There world was spread between Hindukush to north western Africa.They have very little knowldge about Europe or eastern and south eastern Asia.So whatever they have got was word of God to them. Its true there is nothing new in Quran and in many places it seems that it is written only to support Mohammad and fulfill his wishes and satisfy his lusts. I request my Muslim Brothers to understand Quran, not just to read it.Think them self in that era and compare conditions here and there in Arab at that time.They too will admit that Quran has lost its importance in modern ages.Allah itself has said in more then one place in Quran that this Quran is for People speaking Arabic and living nearby Mecca only.Do you find any references of Europe, India, and China in Quran?Ah ,MAY be Allah didn’t knew about these civilizations.Or there was nothing wrong with these religion and culture and they were better then Islam.
