Let us not target individuals and make a generic rule. Anybody who believes that a Hindu will eventually go to Hell because he worships idols, irrespective of his good deeds, is a Hinduphobe. I would go a step ahead and say, he is a breeder of terrorism. If not active, then a passive breeder. Like stagnant water in water-cooler breeds dengue.
Now, how do you find whether someone actually believes that Hindus will go to Hell or not, in this world of diplomacy and lies. Simple. Let the person announce that anyone who believes, or any book that states that idol-worshipper is worst of creature and will go to Hell, irrespective of his good deeds in life, is a rascal. Let the person announce that gates of Heaven are open for people of all religions, based on their personal conduct and not on basis of their beliefs. And anyone who says this is not true, is a rascal.
Similarly, if one glorifies a person who historically raped or murdered Hindus, then that person (as well as glorified hero) is a Hinduphobe….rather a threat to humanity.
Shame that no “secular” leader from Muslim politics of today dares to say so. And those who believe so – heroes like APJ Abdul Kalam – are boycotted by these fanatics. Read I Worship Idols – Agniveer
Disclaimer – Same goes for non-muslims also. if any non-Muslim believes that someone will go to Hell just because he is Muslim, is a rascal. But if someone believes that some person X will go to Hell because that person X believes non-believers will go to Hell, then hating a fanatic X is not unjustified.
If Mehbooba Mufti does not believe in Hell for Hindus, she is a great person. If she is reluctant in condemning those who believe in Hell for Hindus, she is Hinduphobe or rather Humanityphobe. Readers should assess themselves and conclude.
