Prophet in Hindu Scriptures – Vedas (Part 3)

BHAGAVAD GITA

The most popular amongst all the Hindu scriptures is the Bhagavad Gita.

Consider the following verse from the Gita:

“Those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires surrender unto demigods and follow the particular rules and regulations of worship according to their own natures.”
[Bhagavad Gita 7:20]

The Gita states that people who are materialistic worship demigods i.e. ‘gods’ besides the True God.

UPANISHADS:

The Upanishads are considered sacred scriptures by the Hindus.

The following verses from the Upanishads refer to the Concept of God:

1.

“Ekam evadvitiyam”
“He is One only without a second.”
[Chandogya Upanishad 6:2:1]1

“Na casya kascij janita na cadhipah.”
“Of Him there are neither parents nor lord.”
[Svetasvatara Upanishad 6:9]2

The following verses from the Upanishad allude to the inability of man to imagine God in a particular form:

THE VEDAS
Vedas are considered the most sacred of all the Hindu scriptures. There are four principal Vedas: Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samveda and Atharvaveda.

1. Yajurveda
The following verses from the Yajurveda echo a similar concept of God:

1.

“na tasya pratima asti
“There is no image of Him.”
[Yajurveda 32:3]5

“shudhama poapvidham”
“He is bodyless and pure.”
[Yajurveda 40:8]6
3.

“Andhatama pravishanti ye asambhuti mupaste”
“They enter darkness, those who worship the natural elements” (Air, Water, Fire, etc.). “They sink deeper in darkness, those who worship sambhuti.”
[Yajurveda 40:9]7

Sambhuti means created things, for example table, chair, idol, etc.
4.

The Yajurveda contains the following prayer:
“Lead us to the good path and remove the sin that makes us stray and wander.”

2. Atharvaveda
The Atharvaveda praises God in Book 20, hymn 58 and verse 3:

1. “Dev maha osi”
“God is verily great”
[Atharvaveda 20:58:3]9

3. Rigveda

The oldest of all the vedas is Rigveda. It is also the one considered most sacred by the Hindus. The Rigveda states in Book 1, hymn 164 and verse 46:
“Sages (learned Priests) call one God by many names.”

The Rigveda gives several different attributes to Almighty God. Many of these are mentioned in Rigveda Book 2 hymn 1.

Among the various attributes of God, one of the beautiful attributes mentioned in the Rigveda Book II hymn 1 verse 3, is Brahma. Brahma means ‘The Creator’. Translated into Arabic it means Khaaliq. Muslims can have no objection if Almighty God is referred to as Khaaliq or ‘Creator’ or Brahma. However if it is said that Brahma is Almighty God who has four heads with each head having a crown, Muslims take strong exception to it.

Describing Almighty God in anthropomorphic terms also goes against the following verse of Yajurveda:

“Na tasya Pratima asti”
“There is no image of Him.”
[Yajurveda 32:3]

Another beautiful attribute of God mentioned in the Rigveda Book II hymn 1 verse 3 is Vishnu. Vishnu means ‘The Sustainer’. Translated into Arabic it means Rabb. Again, Muslims can have no objection if Almighty God is referred to as Rabb or ‘Sustainer’ or Vishnu. But the popular image of

Vishnu among Hindus, is that of a God who has four arms, with one of the right arms holding the Chakra, i.e. a discus and one of the left arms holding a ‘conch shell’, or riding a bird or reclining on a snake couch. Muslims can never accept any image of God. As mentioned earlier this also goes against Svetasvatara Upanishad Chapter 4 verse 19.

“Na tasya pratima asti”
“There is no likeness of Him”

The following verse from the Rigveda Book 8, hymn 1, verse 1 refer to the Unity and Glory of the Supreme Being:
3.

“Ma cid anyad vi sansata sakhayo ma rishanyata”
“O friends, do not worship anybody but Him, the Divine One. Praise Him alone.”

“Devasya samituk parishtutih”
“Verily, great is the glory of the Divine Creator.”

Brahma Sutra of Hinduism:

The Brahma Sutra of Hinduism is:

“Ekam Brahm, dvitiya naste neh na naste kinchan”

“There is only one God, not the second; not at all, not at all, not in the least bit.”

Thus only a dispassionate study of the Hindu scriptures can help one understand the concept of God in Hinduism.

The name of the Prophet as Ahmed since Ahmed is an Arabic name. Many translators misunderstood it to be ‘Ahm at hi’ and translated the mantra as “I alone have acquired the real wisdom of my father”.

Islam is a creed that cannot survive without lies. Any so called Islamic scholar, whenever presents a discourse on Islam before a non-Muslim civilized audience, begins with a blatant lie that Islam means piece. While, in fact, Islam is just the opposite of that called peace. Though it is well-known that Islam treats women no better than domestic animals- simply as objects for satiation of lust and a machine for procreation of children, these scholars say that the Koran has given dignity to women and Islam provides equal rights for men and women. While the Koran clearly states that each and every non-Muslim is a kafir, but these scholars, solely to confuse the entire non-Muslim population in the world, tell lies and say the word kafir stands for an atheist. The Koran clearly states that, jihad is the all-out war, which is to be waged against the non-Muslim kakirs to slaughter them en-masse by bloody massacre and bring the entire world under the banner of Islam, these scholars tells lies and say that jihad is a mental war between good and bad in a man.

As a matter of fact, Islam considers telling lies to infidels or to give false testimony against them in the court of law for the benefit of Islam and for the benefit of jihad, a religious duty for every Muslim. Furthermore, the practice is called taqiyya or holy deception. Allah admires attaches merit to such a liar and rewards him profusely on the the day of last judgment (Qiyamah). Recently, a Muslim commentator has clarified that on three occasions, like (i) in war, (ii) or to win over a women’s heart and (iii) or for deceiving the infidels, lying is not a sin for the Muslims. So it is evident that Dr Zakir Naik will also be profusely rewarded by Allah for deceiving the infidels with his lies.

It has been said earlier that this author has several video CDs containing lecture sessions of Dr Zakir Naik and in two of them Dr Naik tries to establish similarities between Hinduism and Islam. As usual, the lecture begins with condemnation of Hinduism and he says that name Hindu has only geographical significance and the term has been imported by outsiders or foreign invaders to identify the people of India and their culture. But the holy book of Islam, or Koran mentions Islam as a religion in several places such as verses 19, 85, 119 and 185 of the Sura Al Imran (the 3rd Sura). Moreover, Koran mentions Musalman in the verse 64 of the same Sura. Hearing his words the audience, mostly Muslim blockheads, is seen to be jubilant. But no one audience pointed out that a religion should be judged not by the name, but by the message it carries. However, Dr Naik , later on, clarifies and says that the real name of Hinduism is Sanatana Dharma, or Eternal Religion. Though there is no English word equivalent to the Sanskrit word Dharma, the word religion is usually taken as the English equivalent of Dharma.

Dr Naik then clarifies that Islam is not a new religion originated by Prophet Muhammad 1400 years ago, and it came into being as soon as Allah created the first human being Adam in heaven. In my previous article “A Few Questions to Dr Zakir Naik on Islam”, I have shown that Allah created Adam not earlier than 4,127 years ago, and hence Islam, according to Dr Naik’s claim, cannot be older than the same number of years. But how old are the Vedas? Dr Naik admits that, according to Western scholars, the Vedas are the oldest literature of the mankind. But then ridicules the Hindus and says that they are polytheists and worship many Gods, while Muslims worship only one God Allah.

But it seems that Dr Naik is not aware that Hinduism is the oldest monotheist religion in the world. Apparently it appears to a commoner that Hinduism is polytheistic as Hindus worship idols of many deities. But whosoever has tried to delve into it has found that Hinduism is absolutely monotheistic. In Hinduism, God (or Îúvara) is one, but deities are many. Even a Hindu child knows that, all these deities are the manifestations of one God (Iúvara or Brahman). So the seers of the Vedas say,

Ekṃ sadviprâ bahudhâ vadanti Agniṃ Yamaṃ Mâtariúvânam âhuḥ -RV (1/164/46). (God is one but people call Him by many names like Agni, yama, Mâtariúvâ etc.) or

Suparṇ Viprâḥ kavayo bacobhirekaṃ santaṃ vahudhâ
kalpayanti- RV (10/114/5). (Him
(With fair wings though there is only One (bird), sages imagin
many).
So, when Dr Naik designates Hinduism a polytheistic religion and ridicules Hindus for worshiping many Gods, he exposes his ignorance of even a b c of Hinduism.

According to Dr Naik, Islam is the only religion that is strictly monotheistic, as its followers worship only one God Allah. But it seems, from Koran and other Islamic scriptures, that Allah is not confident that he is the only God in the world (not in the universe as Allah is aware only about heaven and earth).

Had Allah been the only God, it would not have been possible for man to find another God to worship. And had Allah been confident that there is no other God except him, he should not have been jealous of another God. For example, let us imagine a village where there is only one well as the source of fresh water. Hence there would not have been any difference whether the villagers drink water from a glass or from a pitcher, or from a jug. And as there is not an alternative source, it must have been derived from that lone well. In a similar manner, if Allah knew that there is no other God, he would have been confident that people will not find another God to worship.

But the behavioral pathern of Allah suggests that he is not confident that he is the only God. He seems always to be suspicious that there may be another God and people may worship that God instead of him and thus they may create a partner to him. So the scared Allah warns man not to worship another God or create a partner to him and says, “Say, ‘people of the Book, let us come to an agreement: that we will worship none but Allah, that we will associate none with Him, and that none of us shall set up mortals as deities besides Allah” (3: 64) [tr: N J Dawood (only the word God replaced by Allah].

In this context, it should be mentioned here that, as the Hindu God is confident that He is the only God in this universe, He does not become jealous of another God and says,

Ye api anya devatâ bhaktâ yajante úraddhayânvitaḥ z
Te api mameva kaunteya yajantyabidhipûrbakam zz Bhagavadgitâ (9: 23)

“O Kaunteya (Arjuna), even those who worship other gods with devotion (bhakti), they do really worship Me, though the rite differ from the norm” (tr: R C Zaehner). The Hindu God does not become angry and say, “you have committed the foulest sin by worshiping other gods or associating partner (shirk) with Me and I shall throw you in hell fire as a punishment for this sin, because He is confident that He is the only God, and no one could find another God to worship.

To speak the truth, Allah is not a god at all. Allah is a cruel tyrant, a barbaric killer and a violent despot. In fact, the Islamic Umma is the biggest criminal gang on earth and Allah is leader and guide of that criminal gang and is trying to establish himself as the God of the world (not of the universe) with the help of the mujahidin through terror and bloodshed. He is therefore always scared that a member of his gang may slip out of his grip and start to worship that real God, the real ruler of the universe. So he has enforced strict law that if any one of his gang tries to desert the gang, he should immediately be declared an apostate and put to death. One should also notice that, this is the standing rule of every other underworld criminal gang. If any member of the gang leaves the gang, even with the intention of leading a decent life, the other members of the gang murder him instantly due to the reason that he may disclose the secrets of the gang.

Allah in the Ṛgveda:

It has been mentioned earlier that the lectures of Dr Zakir Naik are full of naked lies. The reader should also recall that, the most merciful and all knowing and all observing Allah has given clean chit to these people like Zakir Naik to tell any lie, to do any mischief and play any deception with the kafirs, if it helps to influence them and bring them under Allah’s fold or for propagation of Islam. And Dr Zakir Naik makes unrelenting use of that command of Allah in all his lectures. So, his claim that Allah is mentioned in the Ṛgveda is also a pure lie. Dr Naik says that the verses (2/1/11), (3/30/10), (9/67/30) and (1/13/9) of the Ṛgveda contain mentioning of Allah. When I opened the Ṛgveda, I was really dumbfounded that a man like Dr Zakir Naik, the president of a recognized institute like the Islamic Research Foundation (IRF) in Mumbai, could propagate such blatant lies and that too in open gatherings.

The reader should recall that the word Âllâh has been derived from two Arabic words âl (the) and ilâh (anobject of worship). In Ṛgveda, there is a word iḷâ, with a completely different meaning. But Dr Naik, whenever could find the Sanskrit word iḷâ in the Ṛgveda, he, as his sacred duty of holy deceiption (taqyya), has declared it as mentioning of Allah, without a second thought.
For example, the verse (2/1/11) of Ṛgveda says,
Tvamagne aditirdeva dâúuṣe tvaṃ hotrâ bhâratî
bardhase girâz
Tvamiḷâ úatahimasi dakṣase tvaṃ bṛtrahâ vasupate
sarasvatî zz

“Thou, God (Agni), art Aditi to him who offers gifts: thou Hotrâ, Bhâratî, art strengthed by the song. Tthou art the hundred-wintered Iḷâ to give strength, O Lord of wealth! Vṛtra-slayer and sarasvatî” [tr: ibid]. According to Sâyana, the most celebrated commentator on the Vedas, iḷâ is the other name of Agni (the deity of fire). Furthermore, the entire Hymn (2/1) has been dedicated to God Agni and hence there is no doubt that the word iḷâ in the verse stands for Agni.

The word iḷâ also occurs in the verse (1/13/9) of the Ṛgveda, that reads,

Iḷâ, sarasvatî mahî tisro devîrmayobhuvaḥ z
Varhiḥ sîdantasridhaḥ zz

“Iḷâ, Sarasvatî and Mahî, three godesses who bring delight, be seated, peaceful, on the grass”. In this verse, Iḷâ is a godess and, according to Sâyana, Iḷâ in this verse may stand for earth, or cow, or vâc (speech).

In a similar manner, there is another word Alâ in the Ṛgveda that refers to various deities. The verse (3/30/10) contains the word and says,

Alâtṛṇo vala Indra vrajo goḥ pura hantorbhayamano byâra z
Sugatpatho akṛṇonniraje gaḥ prâvanvâṇîḥ purahûtaṃ
dhamantîḥ zz

“He who withheld the kine, in silence yielded in fear before thy blow, O Indra. He made paths easy to drive forth the cattle. Loud-breathing praises helped the much-invoked One” [tr: ibid]. Here, Alâ is the other name of Indra. The entire Hymn (3/30) has been dedicated to Indra and this confirms that the word Alâ in the verse refers to Indra. But, as the word Alâ sounds like Allah, Dr Zakir Naik, like a fool, has taken it to be a mentioning of Allah.

The word Alâ also occurs in the verse (9/67/30) of the Ṛgveda that says,

Alâyasya paraúurṇâúa tamâ pavasva deva soma z
Âkhuṃ cideva deva soma zz

– “O, deva Soma, we pray to you so that the battle-axe of our enemy gets broken- Alâ, you descend and kill our irretating enemy”. Though the Hymn (9/67) has been dedicated to both Soma and Agni, scholars believe that the word Alâ in this verse refers to Soma or the Moon (or Soma) .

According to Dr Zakir Naik, every Sanskrit dictionary contains the word Allah and says that Allah is the God. In the most authentic Sanskrit-English Dictionary by Monier Williams (A Sanskrit-English Dictionary, Motilal Benarasidass, Delhi,1981), the present author could not find the word Âllah. The words, this author could find that sound like Allah are; Al (to be competent or able), Ala (the sting in the tail of a scorpion), Alât (a firebrand or coal) and Âla (spawn, any discharge of poisonous matter from a venomous animal). Another authentic Sanskrit-English Dictionary (The Student’s Sanskrit-English Dictionary by Vaman Shivaram Apte, Motilal Benarasidass, Delhi, 2005), there is a word Allâ and says that it stands for mother.

Conclusion:

From the discussions presented above, it becomes evident that, all the utterences of Dr Zakir Naik regarding mentioning of Allah in the Ṛgveda and in the Sanskrit dictionaries are pure lies. But the question remains: Why Dr Naik is hell bent on to discover mentioning of Allah in Sanskrit literature? It has been mentioned earlier that Allah is most merciful and kind (Rahmanir Rahim) only to the Muslims. But for the non-Muslim kafirs, Allah is cruel beast and a barbaric killer. And most importantly, Allah is not at all the God or Lord of this creation and Dr Naik is striving hard to dignify Allah and to establish him as the God by discovering his name in the Vedas. His efforts are nothing but finding a pedigree for Allah.

It is only under willful disregard to fact and logic that one can owe allegiance to a hatemongering Allah and a Prophet who have been the source of oceans of bloodshed since 700 AD.

Zakir Naik knows only to quote out of context. It is like quoting “I love him” from the full sentence of “I love him not”. Both have different meanings. Zakir doesn’t even know what the meaning is. For example, from the Bhavishya Purana, Malecha means people who like filthy things. Mahamad means Gread Fool. Is he trying to say that Mohammed is a Fool ?? He is disgracing the great prophet himself by quoting Hindu puranas.

Agniveer it is a ploy to convert Hindus to Islam by claiming a prophet (Mohammed) was predicted in Hinduism. The purpose is to make Islam the next step after Hinduism or the final chapter of Hinduism. This is not new. Mohammed himself declared himself the last prophet of the Jews. No prophet was predicted in the Jewish texts or its offshoot Christianity (Judaism 2.0). Judaism only spoke of the Messiah. Christians believe the Jew Jesus is the Messiah and the Jews still think the Messiah has not yet come, and that (whether the Messiah has come and if Jesus is he) is the source of tension between the two Jewish faiths of Judaism and Christianity. There is no prediction of another prophet coming after the Messiah in either Judaism or Christianity (Judaism 2.0). Mohammed the Arab polytheist comes along several centuries after Jesus and says he is the last prophet of the Jews ( a self proclamation), and his Koran the uncorrupted version of the Jewish and Christian texts. Zakir is just using Mohammed’s tactic against Judaism and Christianity now against Hindus.

Dear AGniveer , you seem to know that your research is genuinely true. However, i find a lot of discrepancies in your arguemnts:

Firstly, you do not expose yourself. YOu are using a nickname, and if you are so truthful what stops you from using your original name

Secondly, Your quotes do not have proper references. without references no research is complete since you are using secondary sources(as you did not write the Vedas nor did you write the Islamic texts-and perhaps you may not be aware of the fact as to how many Islamic texts are there in total!).
Analysis is based upon either Deductive logic or inductive logic, and there is niether of them in your analysis. So any reasonable person or a researcher(if he is LITERATE) will discard your kind of RESEARCH!

Zakir Naik is a duffer and propagandist of the nth order. Just to add to some of the arguments of agneever, let me give some eye popping facts that will further expose the truth that there is nothing original about Islam and how shallow Muslims are. Kaaba is closest to Kabaali or Kabaaleeswaran (Synonym for Lord Shiva in Tamil). There is undoubtedly a shiva linga (lingas are usually block in Hindu tradition) with a Moon Crescent in kaaba. Muslims just do not want to accept it. Where there is Shiva. Hinduism suggests that where there is Shiva, there has to be Ganges. You have got zam-zam in Kaaba. Awesome!. To begin with, what is a black stone doing in a religion that abhors idol worship? Idols are not Gods in Hinduism but symbols that help in meditation if one is not a a seasoned practitioner and nothing else(Vedas do not approve of idol worship anyways). The word Allah is modified from Ila in Puranas which also has synonyms such as Akka and Amba names for Parvati. Zakir Naik claims that Allah is a pure word with no masculine or feminine gender. I’ll give him at least two in Hinduism. Bhagwaan(in colloquial hinduism) and EEshwar (in Vedas). They have no masculine or feminine gender. Dear brother Arya, I would like to share a experience i had last week, Last week i had been to one of my friend's mango grooves and we were collecting mangos from the trees, i happend to have a conversation with the care taker of those mango trees..his name is muniswamy and i was generally checking his family income and family details.. he told me he has one daughter who is studing in a school , he earns around 1000 rs a year and share of the mangoes he grows.. then he went on and told me he had difficult times for a daily bread and recently he got converted to a different religion where he is given a monthly income and his daughter education is for free for life. now thats something which struck me , people are lured into changing religions using money , then my second thought was anyways nobody helps/bothers in his older religion atleast now he has a acceptable good life…..So bother arya the only question/challenge to you is can you come up something like this (monthly income/free eduction/healthcare/social activities) rather than challenging ignorant people like me 🙂 if you cannot i would recommend you try debating hungry people in villages you will get your best answers there 🙂

Unfortunately, Quran does not seem to be case of wrong interpretation. I started my journey that way but was compelled to take other way. Quran has been case of one person claiming that all He says is true and if He is challenged, all shall go to Hell. Concept of Jehad is clear in Quran. If anyone is against Muhammad, Quran and Allah, he or she is kafir. So strive to not be a Kafir and make Kafirs Muslims is Jehad. And all forms of tactics are legitimized to do so. There are indeed verses of lve and compassion in Islam, but only for Muslims.

In Sam Veda Mantra 122, as stated by you, states when holy Yajyen are performed then glory (including assets, wealth, treasure etc.) of the king and the public is increased. In the Mantra, it is stated " AHAM"= I, "VASVAHA" = wealth in the form of cows, horses, assets etc.. "ISHEY" = Master i.e., by performing Yajyen and hardworking. Oh! God may I be the master of wealth in the form of cows, horses, assets etc.

Hence, in the said Sam Veda Mantra, "AHAM" means "I".

In RIG VEDA MANTRA 2/1/11 "TVAMAGNE ADITIRDEV DASHUSHE TVAM HOTRA BHARATI VARDHASE,
TVAMIDA SHATHIMASI DAKSHASE TVAM VRITRAHA VASUPATE SARASWATI."

Oh! DEV =ONE WHO GIVES, AGNE = KNOWLEDGE OF VEDAS, TVAM = YOU, DASHUSHE = FOR THOSE DISCIPLES WHO ARE DONORS, ADITIHI = LIKE HEAVENLY BODIES EMITTING LIGHT, YOU ENLIGHTEN THE DISCIPLES WITH SUPREME QUALITIES OF WISDOM. TVAM = You, HOTRA BHARATI=you are acceptable like a baby who has attained full knowledge. GIRA = by the sweet preach of Vedas voice, VARDHSAE = we get progress. DAKSHASE = to give the knowledge, TVAM = you are IDA = i.e., you are praiseworthy like a lady teacher, who has attained hundred years of age. OH! VASUPATE = master of wealth, TVAM = you, VRITRAHA= like a sun who destroy the black clouds to cause rain and you are like SARASWATI = a divine voice full of knowledge, science, etc.

The idea of the mantra is that we must go to a learned acharya to learn the deepest knowledge of Vedas to be a learned person so as to get long happy life.

In the mantra, the meaning of the word "IDA" he who is desirous to be praised. In first mantra of RIG VEDA, it is stated " AGNIM IDEY" here the meaning of " IDEY" is praise of God and "IDA" means desire i.e. I have a desire to praise, pray and worship God. So IDA means praise or desire.

Vedic Sanskrit is divine voice which emanates direct from God at the beginning of the earth.

In the divine Sanskrit, there are sixty-three alphabets in which there are four Yam i.e., Hrisva, Deergha, Anunasik and a symbolic alphabet which is pronounced "Da". So it the above mantra it has been stated" SHATHIMA IDA ASI ". So it is IDA not ILA please. Moreover, in four Vedas no personal name has been mentioned. Personal (proper) names of God have only been mentioned. So he who does not know divine Sanskrit, he does know the real meaning of Ved mantras, please. The same problem in with Bhagwad Geeta, Valmiki Ramayana, Mahabharata, ancient holy books.

What is going on, that nowadays mostly the saints do not study Vedic Grammar and Vedas. They usually remember, Bhagwad Geeta etc., with the comments of previous saints without knowing that whether the comments and meanings of words of Bhagwad Geeta are according to Vedas or not. When the saints start speaking Bhagwad Geeta's shlok in Sanskrit or shloks of Purann in Sanskrit, people start thinking that saint is learned of Sanskrit and Vedas. But mostly it is not true and therefore mostly illusions is being spread in the public because public is already ignorant of Vedas and Sanskrit.

If there is no provision for Avtar in Vedas then what is the aim of mentioning Muhammad's (pbuh) name in Athar Veda & Sama Veda.

Knowledge of vedas originated at the time of creation that is more than one arab ninety six crore years back. At that time there were no any sect originated. Our ancient rishis studied only vedas, which are still applicable for whole of the world. About five thousand years back rishi patanjali philosopher of yoga and vedas has told in his yoga shashtra samadhi paad sutra 1/24 "purush vishesh ishwarah" that is supreme amongst human beings is only almighty God. In bhagwat geeta shalok 10/27 Yogeshwar Krishna says “Amongst human beings I am king.” Here Shri Krishna is trying to give knowledge that almighty God is only supreme and after God next are rishis, munis, prophets, faquirs who are considered supreme amongst human beings because they preach the human beings. That is why there is a pious ayat of holy quran sharif in the beginning that every preach is only for khuda and in pious hadis sharif it is rightly mentioned that amongst all — "la ila-ha il lal laha." and the best prayer al-hamdu lillaha. So here we can accept the meaning of narashashah in respect of the person who is praised by all human beings due to his preach and pious deeds etc. Kauram means the king of whole earth or prophet, rishi, muni.

In one of your given answer at your site you said that the knowledge of Vedas is from God. The knowledge from God always revealed on His assigned Messengers or prophets, who was the prophet to whom these Vedas were revealed? and what is the authenticity that Vedas are save from human manipulation?

Whole meaning is these four vedas emanates from almighty god who is adorable by all human beings. This chapter says about creation also and being lengthy I am unable to describe here. In manu smariti shalok 1/23 Manu says that vaayu, agni, aditya and angira rishi at the time of first unsexual creation gained the knowledge of four vedas in their heart. Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh are all different names of the same ONE ISHWAR that denote different qualities. Brahma means creator, this implies Ishwar is the creator, Vishnu means the preserver, this implies Ishwar is also the preserver, and Mahesh is associated with destruction, which means Ishwar is also the destroyer. These are three symbolic functions of Ishwar.

But their images are from Puranas, which are blatently against Vedas. So the Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh you see in pictures and series, of three different men standing together, is based on Puranas not Vedas. Only their names are taken from Vedas, but in reality they are simply attributes of the same one Ishwar.

but Vedas do not command us to believe in the rishis, like the Quran because in Quran if we believe in Allah alone, but not Mohammad or any of the previous prophets of christ or judaism, then we will be sent to helll regardless how much we believe in Allah alone.

In Vedas, the first four rishis were neccessary to guide humans, but no where in the Vedas it says we must believe in the rishis as well and associate them with Ishwar. I can not believe in rishis and still attain happiness and bliss.

I do not mean in a secular way. I am trying to say that islam makes you blindly believe in Quran and Mohammad as the last menssenger, now if you do not believe in those, you will burn in hell forever regardless if you believed in Allah or not. Whereas, Vedas are strongly against blind belief. Now, if a person doesnt believe in Vedas, he she can still gain happiness and bliss by doing good deeds, and if a person believes in Vedas, that person will enhance his knowledge of wisdom. It is a good think to respect prophets or rishis that have given us divine wisdom but following them blindly and forcing yourself to believe them as the agents of God is wrong.

respecting our rishis who spread divine wisdom is a great thing. But its not neccessary for a divine revelation to guide people. There are many athiest or non muslims, they do not believe prophet mohammad to be the last messenger but they live a good moral life. They help and serve humanity, as per islam, they will burn in hell since they refused to accept Quran as the final revelation, now is that fair??

Many non muslims are good out there, and they never even read the Quran, they basically do good deeds daily in their life, is it fair they go and burn in hell forever????? We all have free will and we should be punished according to our deeds, but suppose I have been a nice person but never considered Quran to be a divine revelation, why should I go to hell???

These are all arab made rules to grab people into their religion and to scare them to convert them to islam.

dear brother, its good to propagate the teachings of great saints and seers. But the problem is when muslims become fanatic. For example, even for the sake of argument, I agree with you the Quran doesnt force anyone to become muslim, now all the unbelievers, despite being nice to you, despite being the best humans on earth in terms of their deeds, can they go to heaven as well??? My dear respected brother, these are all biased stories made up by the compilers of the Quran. The compilers of the Quran knew, that earlier revelations were already existing, and also knew that if they compiled a religion of their own, no body will follow it. So to make sure people follow it, they purposely told everyone that all previous books were corrupted so people can accept this one. And if anyone chooses to leave this religion, he should be klled. It doesnt make a difference????? A language belonging to a particular country makes the revelation partial. For example, a revelation sent in arabic for arab or a revelation sent in chinese for china makes them partial.

I agree needs to be revived but it doesnt mean we ignore sanskrit just because it is no longer prevalent today. Arabic was never a popular language of the world, nor back in those days, nor today.

My question is not why Allah chose Mohammad, my question is why did Allah chose to give a final revelation and why did he put a full stop on revelations after Quran??? If Quran was sent because earlier revelations were not guarded then my question is why those revelations were not guarded??? If Allah decided to send his knowledge in bits and pieces, then Allah is not a perfect God. If Allah wanted, he could have given full knowledge directly in his first revelation and also guarded that revelation, but He chose not to…..why????

You are right, Ishwar could have already make knowledge be present in us as soon as we were created, but guess what my friend, that is exactly the case with Vedas.

Vedas mean sacred knowledge which one can achieve after eliminating ignorance in their minds by meditation. Ishwar never gave rishies four thick books and told them to read them and pass it down. Rishis meditated and they were inspired by divine knowledge by Ishwar in their meditation and then spoke the mantras.

The rishis, and all of us even today, already have Vedic knowledge present in us. The only difference is that the Rishis destroyed all their ignorances of mind and kept meditating, until they reached to an exalted state where they spoke Vedic verses. Even you and me could do the same today, if we meditate, we would also experience the same Vedic verses that rishis spoke at the inception.

Vedas are protected in a coding mechanism in a way where it cannot be altered by anyone, hence Vedas can never be changed which proves that they are the word of Ishwar. If any revelation of God can be altered or corrupted, then it can never be a revelation of God.

Why could have not God Almighy give one revelation which is applicable to all times and eras, rather than sending one two…………then a final which is the summary of all. If Allah is all powerful, He should be able to make a revelation that is applicable to all nations in one go and which contains full knowlege right?????

Again, this question is baseless. I am born after the revelation of Quran, yet no effect. According to your logic, a revelation of God should be sent every year, because many people are born every year, otherwise they would doubt the previous ones.

Christians are people of the book and not hindus because the Quran compilers did not know anyreligion of the east. Rishis were not chosen people in the sense how Allah chose messengers randomly. Before every creation of the earth, Ishwar picks the most purest souls and gives them the body of rishis, so they can propagate Vedic knowledge. If you do good deeds, perhaps you can even qualify to become a rishi in the next world creation.

Wheras all the islamic prophets were chosen randomly.

At the inception, there were only limited humans, so how can you speak of tribes?? Slowly slowly these humans grew in population and migrated to different geographies of the world.

This Adam Eve story is all childish. Christians borrowed this story from Jews and arabs borrowed it from Christains and Jews, simple as that. Then arabs converted abraham to ibraheem, and moses to musa , and solomen to sulemaan, and so on. This is how the Quran was made, simple as that.

However, we do believe there were first humans on earth, but it was not a pair. Ishwar made many pairs of humans during inception. Now, this is sensible since its hard to beleive that we evolved from one pair as adam eve.

well we have to look at each story and see which one is more logical. The story of Bible and Quran is that God creates the universe, humans, destroys and sends humans forever in hell or heaven based on their deeds. Now, your God does not appear to be perfect. A perfect God should operate continously on every thing without any interuptions and disturbances. What was Allah doing before creating the universe??? Siting on His throne for fun???

Now the Ishwar of Vedas, creates the world, creates the first humans, maintains the world, and it will get destroyed, and then recreated, in endless cycles, so you can see Ishwar has been perfect, without any interruptions, wheras Allah creates the world then spends the eternity with you people in heaven.

Also as per Vedas, God, Soul and predominal matter are eternal, they were never created nor destroyed. Whereas Allah is the only one eternal, and He created everything. Now may I ask you, if Allah created matter, then where was Allah prior to creating matter???? Was He not surrounded by matter???? Now see, islam doesnt make sense. The truth is that matter is eternal.

Quran divides humans into momins and kafirs.(rejectors of Quran) and Vedas simply say all are humans. There is no such thing as a kafir or idolator as per Vedas.

That makes Islam contradictory, on one hand you say do not associate partners with Allah, then on the other you people recite Mohammad’s name while praying to Allah. I mean when you say the kalima, you say both names.

Whereas, when we pray to Ishwar, we only recite Ishwar, we do not associate any name of the rishis when worshipping Ishwar.

You are partially right, but not completely. In order to be a muslim, you have to blindly believe in the Quran (even if you dont like it) and you have to believe in Mohammad as the last messenger. Otherwise, even if you submit your will to God and do good things, you will still burn in hell for not believing in Quran.

2) ALMIGHTY’z very first created human i.e adam(alaeh salaam) was the very first messenger of ALMIGHTY , he lived for many years and propagated the msg of ALMIGHTY to his generation until he was alive.. and then the chain of messengers went on .. people were not qualified enough in the early times , messengers and revelations was to make them realize about basic truth i.e ALMIGHTY .. islamic beleive is , all the messenger’s and revalations before prophet muhammad(alaeh salaam) were sent for their respective nation according to the understanding of that people and the basic concept of “tauheed” i.e one-ness of ALMIGHTY…and then came the final messenger with final revelation with the same basic concept and the knowledge understood by all human kind.. its same like , we study nursery first and then we go on to complete our higher studies , the process goes on gradually.. whats imperfect about islam ??

1)If Quran and islam is the truth just because islam agrees with the big bang theory, then dont forget that the same science talks of theory of evolution of apes to humans. Then does not the theory of apes to humans contradict the adam eve story???? Either you agree with science fully, or with religion. Just because islam agrees with the big bang theory, you cannot go around saying that islam and science agree, since there are other theories in science like evolution which strongly contradict islams adam eve. So you do not make sense here. If your dependent on science, then that same science talks of evolution of apes which you disagree with. Now, with some science facts you agree with some you disagree, doesnt make sense brother. We disagree with all science theories because Vedas only agree with scientific FACTS not THEORIES. If Almighy created space, then what was there before space???? As far as I know, even if there is a substance called X before space, then X is also made of matter, then who created that matter???? If you say its uncreated, then this agrees with Vedic explanation which says God , soul, and matter are uncreated and undestroyed.

2)brother, this is another baseless excuse. Going to school is different. You cannot compare God preparing humans to understand with teachers preparing kids to understand. There is huge difference between Ishwar and a teacher. They are incomparable. As far as humans go, humans of all eras had the same mental understanding of live, goodness, rebirth, etc. Humans back then got hungry, and fetched food, and today humans get hungry and fetch food as well. So all humans were equiped with the ssame understanding. Brother, Vedic hymns were applicable to those humans back then and also to humans today…………..why??? See this means this is God’s creation. If God can send out one revelation throughout the span of the earth that can alone do the work of a chain of 7-8 revelations, then what is the need for segments of revelations????? 3)Our ancestors will change during every creation of the earth. Its not neccessary that the first humans will be the same souls chosen during last inception, so it doesnt matter who your ancestor is. We have a beginningless and endless process.

4)Why do we have to bring in Mohammad’s name in kalima??? Any muslim when he recites the kalima to remember God Almight have to associate Mohammad’s name along with it, I cannot understand this. Could I believe in Allah alone without believing in Mohammad as the messenger???

5)There is no such thing as adharmi and dharmi. For Vedas, everyone is human. In Quran if one rejects Quran and islam, its considered a sin, even if he is a good person who always does good deeds. In Vedas, one can reject Vedas and still earn bliss by doing good things…..now you choose which one is more logical??

6)There is no hell or heaven in Vedas. Narak means a phase of sadness and Swarag means a phase of happiness we get in our lifetime here as a result of our deeds. Whereas Quran orders to burn non muslims in hell just because they could not accept islam even though they may have been angels on earth (meaning people doing good deeds). How would you like it if you have a neighbour, who rejects Quran to be the word of God, but he always looks after you as an elder and always supports you in life. He even supports other people in life. Willl it be fair for a nice person like him to burn in hell just because he didnt believe in Quran…………???

Then invite them to migrate from their lands to the land of Muhairs and inform them that, if they do so, they shall have all the privileges and obligations of the Muhajirs. If they refuse to migrate, tell them that they will have the status of Bedouin Muilims and will be subjected to the Commands of Allah like other Muslims, but they will not get any share from the spoils of war or Fai’ except when they actually fight with the Muslims (against the disbelievers). If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah’s help and fight them. When you lay siege to a fort and the besieged appeal to you for protection in the name of Allah and His Prophet, do not accord to them the guarantee of Allah and His Prophet, but accord to them your own guarantee and the guarantee of your companions for it is a lesser sin that the security given by you or your companions be disregarded than that the security granted in the name of Allah and His Prophet be violated When you besiege a fort and the besieged want you to let them out in accordance with Allah’s Command, do not let them come out in accordance with His Command, but do so at your (own) command, for you do not know whether or not you will be able to carry out Allah’s behest with regard to them.

as for wifes of prophet muhammad(peace be upon him) being mothers of all momin’s is a value given to them only , as we love and respect our mothers we should respect them similarly..

this is not my perecption brother, I am telling you the reality of ur religion. As far as prophet Mohammad goes, for us, there are two Mohammads. One is the Mohammad described in the Quran and Hadith, whom we condemn, since no sensible person will appreciate an once of his dirty behaviours. The other Mohammad is the real Mohammad whom we consider a role model.

We beleive Hadiths and Quran to be UNauthentic, which have been written and corrupted miserably so that is why they speak ill about Mohammad. We only condemn Mohammad that is described in Quran and Hadiths.

So I suggest u read the Hadiths carefully and distinguish the true Mohammad from the false disgusting Mohammad..

God sent his revelation to every nation, that is the reason you will find the Oneness of GOD in most of the famous religious books. But those books are sent for only those people of at that time. Now they are all expired. Now the God sent the final revelation which is Holy Quran, we should follow this final revelation for our salvation.

Yes sure My ancestors might be in Hell if they might have not follow Islam, my parents will go to HELL.if dont accept Islam before they die.

For today world only Islam law is enough to solve the problems, Vedas and other scriptures dont show salvation to the problems to the todays mankind. And they are so difficult for people to follow, that is the reason that majority of Hindus dont follow them.

Oneness of God in Islam is a paradox. Tell me, I believe in One God, and I pray to him alone. I dont remember/include any person’s name with Him while prayer. Do you do that? Dont you remember Muhammad along with Allah in prayers? Who believes in One God me or you???

Will your ancestors and parents, regardless of their good deeds, burn in hell forever? Are not you ashamed of talking such non sense about your loving mother and father, who took care of you when no Islam was known to you?

Have you read Vedas? If no, how can you comment on them? If yes, tell me which Mantra has been expired. I will clear it.

Why? Why not send a book which can influence the man kind for eternity………from begining to end……………

Quran believes this life is first and last. Vedas state the concept of rebirth of soul.

– Quran believes that this creation is first and last. After that there is only permanent Hell and Heaven. Vedas state that creation and dissolution of universe is a continuous cyclical process with no beginning and end.

– Quran states that God sends messengers from time to time. Vedas state that God is all-powerful and does not require any messenger to bring any new concepts.

– Quran believes in Paradise and Hell. Vedas state that accumulation of good deeds lead to salvation and bad deeds lead to rebirth in various species. There is no permanent place like Paradise where one gets virgins and boys, and no place where one keeps burning in Fire.

– Quran believes that if one accepts Quran, Muhammad and his doctrine, God will forgive his or her past sins. Vedas state that no act of souls goes without paying its result. By worship and pleading, one ensures that bad deeds are not repeated in future. Hence good results start accumulating. But there is never a deletion of past records.

– Quran allows 4 wives and innumerable concubines for general Muslims and even more for messenger. Vedas clearly proclaim merits of monogamy. (Why did God decide to suddenly increase the quota is beyond comprehension?)

– Quran allows meat-eating but Vedas call for mercy on all living beings (Again, why did God become so offended by poor animals is beyond me)

Definately Roger I would have preached if they had been accessible to me, but I dont know where are they. I can preach Islam only to those to whom I have access. according to the puranas that hindus believe in , there are temporary hells and heavens ..different from the permanent hell and heaven in Islam…ones good deeds/bad deeds will take people there as per these fairy tales

because if a God rewards or punishes infinitely for finite mistakes on earth..they he is an unjust god..what say?

Na jaane kis mulla ne ye baat padha di hai ki Ibadat ka maane sirf 5 waqt ki namaaz hai. Ibadat ka matlab hai khuda ki paristish karna yaani har wo kaam karna jiska usne hukm diya (jaise gareebon ki madad karna, rishtedaron ke saath nek sulook karna, apne padosiyon ka khayal karna, maa baap ki izzat karna, mehmaano ko izzat dena, yahaa tak ki apne ghar ka kharch chalana is niyat se ki khuda ke liye hai ibadat me shumar hota hai etc.) hai aur har us kaam se bachna jisse usne mana kiya hai (jaise jhoot bolna, kisi ke upar zulm karna, sharaab peena, kisi ka dil dukhana etc.).
Khair ye sab baatein chhodiye, asl mudde pe rehte hain bajaaye iske ki idhar udhar bhatak jaaye.

Aap ne farmaya ki bhagwaan/Khuda ne hume dimaag diya hai taaki hum uska istemaal karen, aur agar hum uska istemaal na karen to uski tauheen hogi.

Beshak Ye baat bilkul sach hai, ki khuda ne hume dimaag diya hai to hume uska istemaal karna chahiye, lekin kya usne is qeemti cheez ko is baat me lagaye rehne ke liye diya hai jisse koi maqsad ka hal na nikle.

Aap us Bhagwaan/Khuda ko dhundhne ke mission par nikalne waale koi eklaute shakhs to hain nahi, na jaane aap ke jaise kitne aaye aur dhundhte hue chale gaye ya dhundh rahe hain, lekin ek bhi shaks ko kaamyaabi nahi mili.

Aur agar koi dhundhne me kaamyaab ho gaya hai to wo kaun hai aur kaisa selfish insaan hai ki khud dhundh ke baith gaya hai aur aap jaise dusron ko nahi bata raha hai.

Qitabon’ ke khudaon’ se sabse badi shikayat ye hi hai ke unhe sirf imaan walon ki ibaadatein nahi chahiye ..unhe hai pyaas kafiron ke khoon ki, loot mein mili zar-zammen-zanaana ka paanchva hissa, mushrikon or dhikr wallon se musalsal ladai tab tak jab tak saare ke saare muslam ya dhimmi na ho jayein.

Aise khuda hain jo khud to kisi ko apne deen mein nahi la paye, par tike hain un imaan laane waalon pe jo insaaniyat ko taak pe rakhke talwaaron ke zor pe logon se aisay khudaon ki khudai kubool karwate rahe ya phir jizya lekar apne deen se bache rehne ki raahat di.

kaash aisay khuda apne imaan lane walon ki ibaadaton se hi khush ho jaate, par in khudaon ko dar hai ki unki kursi na hil jaye ..khair chhodiye in baaton ko .. asal baat par baat karein.

I agree, they no longer use Naik’s or Griffith translations to attack us since they know that we dont consider them authentic. Now, they use the translations of Swami Dayanand and twist its verses to prove their stupidity of Mohammad’s prophecy. The best way to counter them is that since they consider Dayanand authentic, you can just tell them that Dayanand himself declared that there is no mention of prophet in Vedas itself in chapter 14.

1) Language is the beast that projects as well as confounds the truth. If there was no language, no untruth could be told but no truth could be shared either 🙁
2)If the language has intrinsic problems( structure,grammar etc), then the probability of the stated message being misinterpreted becomes much higher.

Even Samskrit can’t help on #1 but it helps us a lot in avoiding #2. That’s why the insistence and preference given to samskrit by ‘seers’ (Rishis)

and you are right, the Self within is a “See-r”, no language is required for a seeing 🙂

We believe Allah is all powerful & he do not need any assistant of any angles to impart knowledge to prophet. Just will of Allah is enough to fill one’s mind with knowledge. & Allah no need to speak “Kun” to create the universe. Roughly we can say just will/desire of Allah enough to create the universe. Although Allah has no desire but it is his/her eternal nature to create universe for the benefit of souls.
