Why Muslims hate Zakir Naik so much?

It is possible that this post is based on the translations and commentaries of Islamic texts like Quran, Hadiths etc. as published by all major Islamic publishing sources. These are the publicly available translations that are used for promotion of Islam by prominent representatives.

We, however, believe that most of these texts have been wrongly translated, misinterpreted, misquoted or even have been tampered with and interpolated to suit the selfish designs of proponents of Islam after Muhammad. Thus, we believe that original Islam and original Quran of Muhammad are totally different from what have been propagated by his followers in name of Islam. There are few minority groups in Muslims whose scholars subscribe to our views and interpret/translate Islamic texts differently or even refuse to consider the available Quran and Hadiths as authentic. But these scholars themselves are considered Kafirs and are condemned by a dominant elite group of Islam. Thus, when we refer to Islam, we actually imply these dominant elites of Islam and not Muslims or all Islamic scholars in general.

Wherever we critically evaluate Muhammad, we imply the fictitious Muhammad propagated by these false texts or their wrong translations and not the original Muhammad. We have high regard for original Muhammad who stood for non-violence and tolerance. Similarly, when we analyze Islamic texts, we refer to these questionable translations/versions and NOT original texts.

Further, we have a sense of the highest level of brotherhood for Muslims in general. Wherever we use the word Muslim in a critical manner, it refers to false representatives of Islam and not Muslims in general. Readers are requested to keep this in mind to understand the correct perspective of such posts on this website.

Nowhere should they assume the words like Islam, Quran, Prophet etc. to be referring to original noble entities, unless it has been referred in a positive light. We restrict ourselves only to notions prevalent in minds of fanatics and those without reason.

Zakir Naik Exposed

Zakir Bhai MBBS has been among the most hated public figures of today. Deoband recently issued a fatwa against him. There is no doubt that Zakir Bhai is among the most smartly marketed religious celebrity of last few years. He claims to represent and propagate Islam. He considers himself a servant of Muhammad (PBUH). Yet it is the Muslims and Islamic clerics who hate Zakir Naik the most. In this chapter, we shall briefly list out reasons why Muslims hate Zakir Naik so much that many claim that he would be the first person to enter Dozakh (Islamic hell).

Background – 72 Muslim sects

Let us provide a brief background. Most people consider Islam to be the religion propagated by Prophet Muhammad and narrated in Quran. On the surface, it appears all so simple. Quran proclaims that one who submits to the word of final messenger of Allah shall achieve Heaven. But things are not so simple for a layman, and even a scholar. Because while there is only one Quran and one Prophet Muhammad, there is tremendous variety in the types of interpretations that so-called Muslims make out of this book and this great social- reformer.

In short, Islam is not as monolithic as it appears to be. The number of sects in Islam is more than 72, and they are as different from each other as dry is from wet and cold is from hot. All these sects have different customs, different levels of tolerances for non-Muslims, different food habits, different interpretations of Quran, different level of importance given to Muhammad and his associates and different descriptions of Heaven and Hell. The Shia-Sunni war is clearly known.

What makes the things even more confusing is the belief of these more than 72 Sects. Only one is on the path of truth and hence only one will go to Heaven. Rest of the sects will go to Hell. Thus, it is not sufficient to just be a Muslim to achieve Heaven; you need to follow only the right sect. Now each sect fights to prove that they are the genuine sect. Some sects are liberal enough to allow even non-Muslims to Heaven. Some Muslims are even promoters of vegetarianism. Some consider nation ahead of everything else. But there are some who believe that all except those who fully believe in their sect and its practices without questioning anything, alone will go to Heaven. Rest of all will be in Hell forever.

Zakir Naik’s Wahabi sect – The most fanatic

Among the most fanatic of these cults is the Wahabi cult. This is supposed to be the producer of the largest number of terrorists including ISIS, Osama, Al Qaeda since its inception in the 18th century and has been a cause of disgrace for rest of the peace-loving Muslims. Zakir Naik belongs to this Wahabi cult, believes that only this Wahabi version of Islam can bring anyone close to Heaven, and rest of all will go to Hell. And things are not as simple. Further, he mixes his Wahabism with material from other scholars of different sects to create his own Zakirism that in the process blatantly insults and disgraces the vision of Islam as per other sects, including the more tolerant ones.

Zakir Naik humiliated Wahabis

Zakirism goes to such extent that he does not even spare Wahabis from humiliations. Zakir Naik claims to be an expert on comparative religions. In his site, he has put lots of articles on comparative religions under his name. But in reality, they are merely a word to word copy of texts from Qadiyani/Ahmadiyya sources. So what is wrong if one refers to Qadiyani or Ahmadiyya sources? Perhaps nothing, except that:

Qadiyanis/ Ahmadiyyas are considered Kafirs and they are prosecuted by most Muslims for their radical beliefs.

Wahabis have been greatest enemies of Qadiyanis

The content of the Qadiyani writings that Zakir Naik has swindled under his own name are blatantly against core beliefs of rest of the Muslims including Wahabis.

For example, Zakir Bhai MBBS tries to prove that Vedas prophesize about Muhammad. (This has been completely refuted by Agniveer) Now this belief gels with the Qadiyani belief that Vedas were also revelations. But Wahabis and other sects refuse to believe so. Hence even Zakir Bhai MBBS writes in another article that he is not sure if Vedas are revelations. He conveniently forgets that he himself has proved that Vedas reveal Muhammad in another article! (Perhaps because he forgot to read it before asking his henchmen to copy from Qadiyani book and paste under his name on his site and in books.)

In summary, Zakir Bhai continues to use Qadiyani sources to show his scholarly capabilities but refuses to accept Qadiyanis as Muslims because he claims to be Wahabi and is funded by Wahabi militants. Or is he a Qadiyani spy in Wahabi disguise? Only Zakir Bhai knows the reality, but his acts suffice to invite hatred of Qadiyanis as well as other Muslim sects.

Progressive Muslims hate Zakir Naik

Zakir Bhai justifies non-vegetarianism as a scientific Islamic trait. While he does acknowledge that even a Muslim can be vegetarian, he attempts to justify meat-eating on crazy arguments including research by some farmers. (Agniveer has already busted this lie). This catches ire of several progressive Muslims, who refuse to believe that meat-eating has any association with religion. Many progressive Muslims have even started a Muslim Vegetarian Society that is among the most powerful protagonists of Vegetarianism and opponents of Halal meat. They have severely condemned Zakir Naik and his spurious research for disgracing Islam to justify the lust of his own tongue.

Deoband issued a fatwa against Zakir Naik

Being a Wahabi he has a soft corner for Osama Bin Laden. When someone questioned him on his views on Osama, he replied that he admires him because he has terrorized America! He shied away from criticizing terrorist activities of Osama.

Deoband even issued a Fatwa against him probably because his use of literature of Qadiyani sect – considered worst by Deoband – to further Islamic cause.
Reason why Zakir supports Osama is – the money that funds Osama and money that funds Zakir Bhai have allegedly the same sources. Many terrorists caught in recent times involving the ones of Dhaka attacks, Chief of Hyderabad ISIS Module, first Indian ISIS fighter have allegedly accredited Zakir Naik to be their inspiration.

Devout Muslim hates Zakir Naik for wearing Kafir dress code

While on the surface, he claims to be a conservative Muslim; he wears a non-Islamic dress which as per Islamic hadiths would lead one to be treated as a non-Muslim during Judgment Day. Many devout Muslims thus consider their dress very seriously and hate Dr. Zakir Naik for setting wrong examples by wearing Kafir dress of tie, suit, and coat. Zakir Naik teaches fanaticism to others but himself adopts conveniences as per his own will.

Sufis and graves worshippers hate Zakir Naik

Wahabis have destroyed many Sufi shrines and the even house of Prophet Muhammad because they believe these to be signs of idol worship. They killed many Muslim men, women, and children in their campaigns to destroy tombs and holy places. In the same footsteps, Zakir Naik severely condemns these practices to be anti-Muslim and hence is hated by those who worship graves, Sufis and tombs.

Shias hate Zakir Naik

Shias obviously have a reason to hate Zakir Bhai MBBS because of his staunch anti-Shia stance, being a Wahabi. But his admiration of Yazeed, considered to be the culprit for the massacre of Prophet’s family in Karbala has been a strong point of contention for other Muslims. So much is the hatred against Yazeed that many people curse by the name of Yazeed. But Zakir Naik respects Yazeed in similar way as Prophet Muhammad by stating ‘Peace be Upon Him’ or something similar after his name. This PBUH/similar words are restricted only for the most revered people in Islam.

Progressive Muslims hates Zakir Naik for his ultra-fanaticism

Zakir justifies the ban on the worship of other religions in Muslim countries. He however also justifies that Muslims should be allowed in other countries to promote their religion. The logic is curious — as per Zakir Bhai, in matters of religion, Muslims are the best. So they should be allowed everywhere — Muslim or non-Muslim countries. But non-Muslims should not be allowed to build places of worship in Muslim countries because their religions are inferior to Islam!

Such ultra-fanaticism irks the most progressive Muslims, who want to integrate with rest of the world and rise above religious dogmas and hatred.

Muslims hate him for being ultra-conservative

Being an ultra-conservative, he propagates that despite a person being as much good or noble, unless they unconditionally accept his version of Islam, they will go to Hell and Hell alone and forever. This goes against beliefs of more progressive Muslims, who believe that all who act with genuineness, regardless of their religion will go to Heaven and not Hell.

Muslim women hate Zakir Naik

Muslim women obviously have all the reasons to hate Zakir Bhai because in the name of pseudo-science he is simply restricting their freedom that has been ordained by the Creator. For example, he states that Muslim women should always wear Hijab and Burqa and cover their entire body always. Medical researchers are worried that such unreasonable practices cause dreaded diseases due to lack of Vitamin D in Muslim countries which enforce such beliefs on women. More liberal Muslims see such insistence as dangerous dogma harming the cause of Muslims and Human Rights.

He further states that Muslim women should not work in offices because they may have a chance to be alone with men even for a second. The only men that a woman is allowed to be alone with are her husband and those who have suckled her. Taking this crazy dogma of Zakir Bhai further, the Head of Hadith Department of the most reputed university of Islam in the world recently issued a fatwa that Muslim women should allow their male colleagues to suckle their breasts five times. This will allow them to work with these men, even when alone. Because after this, they will be like mothers to them!

Zakir Bhai debars women from being any doctor except gynecologists because that is haram as per his version of Islam. Women should not take part in sports as well!

He further defends polygamy by furnishing false data on population but disallows polyandry.

He justifies the belief that women are less intelligent than men, and hence evidence of two women equals that of one man!

He thus also justifies that women cannot inherit equally to their male counterparts!

He also believes that majority of hell dwellers will be women.

No wonder, he agrees to the dogma that to prove rape, a woman should bring an ample number of witnesses who have witnessed actual penetration!

Wahabis calls Zakir Naik a Shaitan

The list of people who hate Zakir Naik can go on and on. So much that now even Wahabis have started calling Zakir Bhai a Shaitan.

Other sects who do not receive as much funding as Osama or Zakir Naik try tooth and nail to debunk his fraud through all means.

They are even more upset by the fact that Zakir Naik does not even know how to read Arabic and merely imitates Ahmed Deedat, another preacher considered deviant by many scholars.

Conclusion

The process of seeking truth demands process of elimination. One may not be sure and continue to debate on which of the 72 or more sects of Islam would lead one to Heaven, or whether Quran itself is the authentic Quran and not the new Quran as created recently. One may not be sure whether a permanent Hell or Heaven or Angels or Genies exist in first place. One may doubt if Muhammad was a great non-divine social -reformer or actually a Messenger of Allah’s word. One can debate if Quran deserves to be the final word of Allah and what should be its interpretation. Or what new good concept Quran provides that was not present in previous books.

But one fact is sure. There is not even a scope for debate – Certain persons should be out-rightly banished to Hell or hell-like place for the benefit of rest of the peaceful, civilized society. They include:

• people who dare not condemn terrorists like Osama Bin Laden. And instead say “Every Muslim should be a terrorist”. “Every Muslim must terrorize America.”
• people who consider that all except their sect will burn in permanent Hell despite how-so-much good they do in their lives
• people who cannot tolerate others but want themselves to be tolerated everywhere
• people who believe that women are inferior or bereft of intelligence
• people who justify inferior rights and curtailment of freedom for women
• people who refuse to change their stands despite the presence of factual information proving the opposite
• people who do not clear their stand and purely use material prepared by someone else to claim scholar status for self and yet condemn the source

Such terrorism sympathizers are a threat to any civilized society. Progressive and even conservative Muslims have shown the right way by criticizing Zakir Naik so severely. The first and foremost religion of humans is humanity. The way noble-minded Muslims have shown courage and mettle to condemn the dangerous frauds of Zakir Naik that are detrimental to entire humanity is warmly welcomed. Such steps in right direction pave the way for right direction for seekers of true knowledge.

  6. It is funny to see that people quote from Islamic web sites to prove that, Muhammad’s coming was predicted in Vedas and Bhavishya Purana. If we agree with this argument, are you not accepting Hindu scriptures to be divine which could correctly predict things which are going to happen thousands of years later ? If that is the case do you think god was a fool when he said about innumerable things in the same scriptures which are contradictory to Muhammad’s teachings ? Or is God realized his mistake only later and had a second thought to send out Qran as a correction ?

    Vedas proclaims the oneness of God and at the same time accepts the innumerable paths to reach him ! Vedas say God is at the same time formless and with forms. Without attributes (Nirguna) and with all the attributes !

    Gita which is the summary of Vedic teachings, clearly says about the repetition of life, death and rebirth. It clearly says all worlds from the Hell to the Brahma loka are temporary. So even those who reach heaven have to come back to this world to achieve Mukthi ! There is no concept of eternal hell or heaven in Vedic literature. According to Hindu scriptures Heaven and Hell are impermanent experiences. So if some parts in Vedas and Puranas are proved to be true, is it not illogical to rebuke other parts just because they do not suit your religious prejudice ? Gita and Puranas talk about God coming down to earth as Avathars from time to time. So now you are accepting this as well right ? There is no concept of last prophet or last Avathar. Kalki is the last Avathar only for this ChathurYuga. That means according to Hindu scriptures Avathars never end.
    So Muhammad can not be the last prophet, even Kalki is not.

    For us, creation, sustenance and transformation are perpetual processes which exists simultaneously. Not like Abrahamic ideas of God’s creation of this universe once for all. Brahma the creative force of Brahmam is always at work. And after some time there is a Pralaya period in which this creative force remain at rest (with no material universe existing) before starting a new cycle. Even modern scientific theories about the universe endorse these ideas. So are you with us ?

    According to Vedas and Gita, this creation itself is the manifestation of the creator. So everything including humans are part of God. So there is no separate God. This is clearly and repeatedly mentioned in Gita. Now as this is contradictory to Qran, and since you know that Hindu scriptures have already proved it’s mettle by accurately predicting the coming of Muhammad, are they not superior and true ? Atleast they proved themselves ! Qran could not make even one such prediction and prove itself. So better you shun the illogical ideas of Qran and accept the ideas of Vedanta which even foresaw the advent of Islam !

They make videos ‘analyzing’ other faiths, write their own versions of ‘comparative’ studies of religions. It is time Hindus wake up to this low grade intellectual assault in which ordinary people can be trapped.

    1. Is Kaaba a Shivling?
    ANS:- MOST CERTAINLY. It was built
    by Raja Chandragupta Maurya II (more popularly known as Raja Veer Vikramaditya of Ujjain who was an ardent Shaivite). He was a descendant of kings such as Raja Chandragupta Maurya, Bindusar, Ashok – The great, Samudragupta etc.
    PROOF:- Like Dr. Naik I will give references but REAL ONES. In a library in Istanbul, Turkey called Makhtab-E-Sultania there is an anthology of Pre-arabic Persia called Sayar-Ul-Okul Pg-315.The verse is:-
    Kafvinak Zikramin Ulumin tab aseru
    Kaluvan Amatatul hava a lazakkuru
    Na tazasveroha udan elelavada-a lilavra Valuka ene zatallahe aum tab aseru Va aha lolaha Azah aramian MAHADEV Manozel ilamuddine Minahum va savatt ar
    That means :
    “Can the person, who indulged in bad deeds and lustful and angry activities, be granted salvation if he repents, atones for and proposes to embrace dharma and follow righteous path? If he worships Lord Mahadev with true devotion he can attain the highest position in spiritual attainments.”

    The name of Mahadev is mentioned in the Arabic original exactly as it is pronounced in Sanskrit or other Indian languages.
    Umer bin Hashsham (Muhammad’s grandfather) further says, “Oh Lord! Grant me a day’s stay in India in exchange for my entire life, because by reaching there a man attains salvation.”

    Va sahabe ke vam fim kamil Hinde you man Yakulun na lajaha jan fainnak tavajjaru
    Another poet is cited in this same book on p. 257 who says,
    Aya mubarekal araz vashaive nohaminar Hinde
    Va adarakkallah majye vashaiye nazzale zikaratun

    The means :-
    “Oh holy land India, you are great
    Because God has made you to spread His Wisdom.”

    The above lines are enough to show what sentiments the Arabs entertained regarding Lord Shiva and India. Lord Shiva was held as God of knowledge, and India the land of knowledge and both were respected for their benign influence.

    2. Bhavishya Puran says, the land of the mlechhas (the people who follow adharm) is prevalent and its chieftain Mahamaad (in Sanskrit it means MAHA = GREAT and MAAD = deceiver, wicked e.g. PRAMAAD means PRA = Work, MAAD = to deceive i.e. to deceive or leave work or laziness) is the most unholy. O great king, he has been born of the Paishachiya yoni (of the womb of adharm) and he will give rise to a demoniac civilization which will fall on its own.

    3. Muslims still worship Hajr-Al-Aswad (Aswad = Ashwet meaning Black in Sanskrit) and Hajr means stone. Its a black deformed Shivling which Mohammad demolished since he was slain by Lord Shiv in his previous birth as Tripurasur.

    4. Mohammad said, “DO OPPOSITE TO WHAT PAGANS (HINDUS) DO” so they do all the things opposite to us.
    e.g. Kaaba is the only place where they circumambulate the deity but unlike Hindus they do it in counter-clockwise direction.

    5. They shave off because when you enter temple you should be cleanly shaved and generally with two white robes which they still follow.

Can one become a muslim by saying “La ilaha il allah musa rasoolallah”? or for that matter by saying “La ilaha il allah ibrahim rasoolallah”

      A. we say, “I bear witness that there’s no God but Allah & Prophet Muhammad Is the last & final messenger & slave of Allah”.

      Q. Why we do not recite the names of Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, Moses and Jesus in shahada.? What is the difference between Muhammad & Abraham, Ismail, Isaac were Jacob?

      A. Prohet Muhammad was the last & final messenger of Allah. Furthermore now we r following the revelation descended on Prophet Muhammad.

      When Qur’an say there’s no difference between all prophet here Allah means we should respect all at the same level. This doesn’t mean that we should necessary recite their names in shahada. They all are respectable.

        Here Allah means they all are respectable, We can never say that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was greater than others.

        Weather we recite their names in shahada or not it makes no difference. All other Prophets can be remained respectable without reciting their names in shahada. The thing which is required is accepting all were sent by Allah. If someone accept that Muhammad (PBUH) is the messenger but others are not , it means he/she is making difference between them.

        While taking shahada we accept that prophet muhammad is the “Messenger” of Allah. So here we Muslims r accepting the Muhammad (PBUH) was the “Messenger” in other words we r accepting He (PBUH) received some “Message”, & that “Message” is “Qur’an”.
        Qur’an says ”

        “Say : ‘We believe in God and the revelation given to us and to Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) Prophets from their Lord. We make no difference between one and another of them, and we bow to God.’ ” Chapter 2, Verse136,

        So while taking shahada in other words we Muslims r accepting everything written in Noble Qur’an.

        The point is you can recite Muhammad’s name in the shahadah but not the other’s. Why? Were they not the founding fathers of the faith? Why this obsession with the supposedly final and last messenger? BTW, who is Imam Mahdi then? Will he not be final and last messenger in Islamic theology?

        The point is not whether Muhammad received any message or not, the point is why ignore the prophets who laid the foundation stones of Islam. Why this preferential treatment to Muhammad? Are they any less deserving?

        Now pay attention,
        We can’t recite the whole Qur’an while taking the shahada. We accept Muhammad is the Messenger in other words we accept He(PBUH) was given some message by Allah in other words we accept that Message (i.e Qur’an).So while taking shahada we accept everything written in Qur’an.
        Qur’an says Allah sent at least 1 million & 24 thousand prophets/ messengers, so WE CANT RECITE THE WHOLE QUR’AN IN SHAHADA, PAY ATTENTION. Allah makes the shahada so simple.

        u brought another issue,the revelations given to the other Prophets was meant 4 the people of that time. Therefore now they r corrupted.
        u r saying that we should also follow Torah (revealed on Moses) & Injeel (revealed on jesus) . We cant follow. Y? Because they got corrupted.

        At one time we can’t follow all religions, because all religions contradicts each other. TRUTH IS ONLY ONE.

        The correct translation of the verse in Surat Al-Ma’idah is: [O you who believe! Do not take Jews and Christians as your patrons. They are patrons of their own people. He among you who will turn to them for patronage is one of them. Verily Allah guides not a people unjust.] (Al-Ma’dah 5: 51)

        It is obvious that Jews patronize the Jews and Christians patronize the Christians, so why not Muslims patronize Muslims and support their own people. This verse is not telling us to be against Jews or Christians, but it is telling us that we should take care of our own people and we must support each other.

        In his Tafsir, (Qur’an exegesis) Imam Ibn Kathir has mentioned that some scholars say that this verse (i.e. the one you referred to) was revealed after the Battle of Uhud when Muslims had a set back. At that time, a Muslim from Madinah said, “I am going to live with Jews so I shall be safe in case another attack comes on Madinah.” And another person said, “I am going to live with Christians so I shall be safe in case another attack comes on Madinah.” So Allah revealed this verse reminding the believers that they should not seek the protection from others, but should protect each other. (See Ibn Kathir, Al-Tafsir, vol. 2, p. 68)

        Muslims are allowed to have non-Muslims as friends as long as they keep their own faith and commitment to Islam pure and strong. It is the duty of Muslims to patronize Muslims. They should not patronize any one who is against their faith or who fights their faith.

        Qur’an also tells Muslims that they should never patronize the non-Muslims against other Muslims. However, if some Muslims do wrong to some non-Muslims, it is Muslims’ duty to help the non-Muslims and save them from oppression. The Prophet (PBUH) said that he himself will defend a Dhimmi living among Muslims to whom injustice is done by Muslims. But Islam also teaches that Muslims should not seek the patronage of non-Muslims against other Muslims. They should try to solve their problems among themselves.

      • @Maria, The arabic word used in Quran 5:51 is awliyāa which means friends or allies by no means it can be translated into patrons. Moreover, if verses of Quran shows messages as per reflection of what is happening on earth as inconsistent events , then it is nothing more than history or fiction.
        Whatever it is your faith, but this verse should also be taken in consideration how Allah commanded muslims to behave , Quran 9:29 Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture – [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled

        the translation that you have quoted equates the arabic word “awliyāa” to “patron” which is a total mis represent of the actual arabic meaning a “friend” or an “ally”,
        These are deliberate attempts by translators to convolute & hide the confusion in quran with more confusion as these “mild” word translation can be easily defended by futher concoctions( as you have verily tried to do, but could not..U gave your tranlation and there is go … started expalining from there on… )

        Moreover, as a practising muslim you must believe that the Quran is Allah’s words/verbatim

        so why is Allah saying that he does not guide the wrongdoers
        (l-ẓālimīna) and who is he referring to, the Muslims who take jews and christins as friends(or patrons 🙂 ) or the jews & christians themselves? and we very well know (after reading the Q’uran) who are those that are not guided by Allah and what awaits them 🙂

        (did you see the conflict between 2:136 and 5:51 by now i am sure not..)

        so much for Allah’s words..
        (though it was compiled not by Muhammad to whom supposedly this verbatim passed through gabriel,after burning all the exixting manuscripts of quran before coming up with this final so called verbatim of Allah [by uthman long after muhammad was gone])

        BTW how did Imam Ibn Khatir know when this particular verse was revealed when he was himself born ~600 years after the said battle,may be after all Allah did not speak only to one man..

        Adios friend ,Islam a religion devoid of any Spritiuality and peace(contrary to the general notion 🙂 ), A god who divides/differentiates people(through his verbatim) based on their religion or scripture is not worthy of worship as an alimighty and UNIVERSAL creator and “PATRON” 🙂

        (2:26) By it He misleads many, and many He guides thereby. And He misleads thereby ONLY those who are AL-FASIQUN (the rebellious,unjust to Allah, disobedient to Allâh).

        In (2:26) Focus on the word **AL-FASIQUN (the rebellious,unjust to Allah, disobedient to Allâh,)**
        So Allah says He misleads **ONLY** those who r al-Fasuqun.

        “(18:57)”Who is more unjust than the one who was reminded through the signs(verses) of his Lord, but he turned away from them, and forgot what his own hands sent ahead. Indeed We have put covers on their hearts that bar them from understanding it, and (We have created) deafness in their ears.”

        verse (5:51) says he will not guide the **UNJUST**. So the unjust is the one **WHO REMINDS THROUGH HIS VERSES**.

        So Allah doesn’t guide such people. Maybe u r one of them because now u r reminding the verses of Allah .

        As for what awliyāa means , it can also be translated into patrons. You don’t know about it, showing your poor reading skills of Arabic.

Also, at the same time, how are you so sure that the Quran has not been corrupted? What about Khalifa Uthman’s burning of the different versions of Quran? What about mansukh and nasikh (Of the Koran’s 114 suras, only 43 are without abrogated or abrogating verses? Why does the Quran contradicts itself in many places? Most importantly, why did Allah let his earlier revelations get corrupted? Is Allah not all powerful? if he is so, then he should have been able to preserve his revelations at the least? Also, please enlighten us on the satanic verses.

        Now, lets do a clinical of this statement of yours. If truth is one, why do they contradict each other when they supposedly come from the same Almighty? I think you need loads of sense and wisdom to crack this one.

See definition of Kafir in your own words : Quran 2:98 “Whoever is an enemy to Allah and His angels and His messengers and Gabriel and Michael – then indeed, Allah is an enemy to the disbelievers.” Moreover, which kind of rebellion that you are talking about, just those who Reject muhamamd are automatically termed as “REBELLION” what a shame for such a theology. As Allah of Quran does not guide them who rejected Muhammad or say for instance who were atheists or Agnostics , then Allah of Auran is nothing more than specially for Qureyish tribe for specific time of the history, & hence it should be rejected universally.

        1- And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sâbirin (the patient ones, etc.) (Qur’an 2:155)

        2- And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). (Qur’an 93:4).

        So the one who get severe test than the others he/she would get Allah’s pleasure & best place in paradise.
        As 4 who’ll get more or less severe test, actually Allah knows best.

        The answer’s Allah knows best. Because no one can tell that the new born baby’d b poor or rich in future, Allah knows, so i can’t guess.

        But u was not satisfied by my answer I think u wanna something more;

        A — What is the meaning of test (in verbal sense)? If All people would b same (no poverty, richness, etc. etc.) then it means there’s would b no distinction between them so how can they b tested? Simply there’d b no test. Allah wanna test therefore He Himself created distinction between people.
        The thing that “this life is a test 4 the life hereafter” is the most important concept in the “philosophy” of Islam. We are only here to be tested by Allah. This life is not our final abode and we are going to die and then be brought back on Judgment Day for examination and the be sent to the proper place according to our belief and our actions.

        Q — The one who gets difficult test than others what’d he get in return?

        A — The one who gets difficult test he’d get more favors of his Lord.

        (1)- “And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sâbirin (the patient ones, etc.) (Qur’an 2:155)”.
        Notice Allah says the ones who loss hunger etc. etc. would get glad tidings.

        (2)- Prophet (PBUH) said: “ The majority of the people’d b the poor in paradise.
        (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 3241; Muslim, 2737).
        So the one who lead a severe life in this world would have more chances to get better life in paradise, in the life hereafter.

        (3) This life is a temporary life, we can’t get everything in this world Allah says;
        “And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world)(Qur’an 93:4)”

        For those there’d b no test. Test is 4 those who have to lead life in this world.

        So no doubt Allah is just, But he wanna test us , Therefore He Himself created the distinction between us. In this world we cant get all things, in the life hereafter v’ll get everything. The real life is the life hereafter. The one who doesn’t get better life in this world he’d get better life in the life hereafter.

        Muhammad is the final messenger of Allah
        Q : Who said so ?
        A : Quran.

        so you see Quran and Muhammad form a circular logic each validating the other, so ther is no way to “PROVE” the correcteness of either,outside the said “circle”

    To sister Maria: We shouldn’t hate anyone including of course Dr Naik, however he has been very outspoken against many other religions without representing them fully in their own beautiful unique ways.
    I strongly agree with Sachin above when he says that Zakir Naik is an entertainer…alot of the people sitting in his lectures are coming to be entertained by his intelligent strong speaking skills and personality. But personality doesn’t disprove holy books that have been around much longer then the Qu’ran. No matter what religion one follows if it makes you follow a path of true righteousness and of love and worshipping god then it is a path to paradise. God has revealed truth to different people around the world he hasnt revealed truth to amercians to force on other people or truth in arabic so the rest of the world must become muslim to go to heaven. The Dalai Lama is a wonderful man who goes around preaching wisdom aun sun kyii from burma is a buddist as well and your telling me she will burn in hell because she hasn’t converted(yet) to the way of one (of 72) sects? that is wrong. God isnt a god of fear if you feel very afraid then your not loving god with purity in your heart, your loving him because your afraid of hell fire… within the religion of christianity, of which i am to a lesser extent a member, there was a man called Martin Luther who transformed his way of thinking from the catholic teaching of if you dont say 100’s of hail mary’s and whip yourself and put a coin in the coffer to save loved ones from purgatory then you would go to hell for your sins. I quote from the bible(one of many beautiful religious books!) For GOD has not given us the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind (KJV 2 Timothy 1:7) and perfect love casteth out all fear! and:
    There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. (NIV 1 John 4 :18) or (KJV There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

      • You are right there is only one truth but not only one way as you propose…the truth i believe is that their is only one God, and he is love and i believe goodness is truth and respect and tolerance and lack of fear, so based on these and many other godly qualities I believe that their many ways to achieve godliness, for instance if hindus slaughter animals in a godly way and Muslims do in a godly way then no one can say my way is the only way to do it…it is possible to make mistakes and to learn things from each other. So if only one group have all the answers they dont need to learn from anyone else and work together in unity with anyone else. i am a christian and believe that their is power in christ but i also belive I can learn so much from someone like the dalai lama, or someone like buddha or someone like sundar singh or someone like zakir Naik…We were meant to honour god by loving each other and learning from each other!

        1- Either he/she has lack of knowledge that what all the religious scriptures really say.

God is one, he is the creator of all things he is all powerful ,none can comprehend him etc all generally teach us the concept of god in wonderful ways! even some people call him the universe etc which is also in a way what god is he is everything! there are not so many contradictions as you say!
        In your second post you said etheir Jesus is god;s son or he is just a prophet both cannot be true yes, but the point is if we came to the judgement day or whatever day it will be and you were wrong and jesus is gods son do you think god will send you to hellfire if you led a pious life served your fellow man, loved God? NO YOU WILL NOT!!!! And if i face God and i beleived he sent his son but he was only a mighty messenger of allah then God will send me to fire of hell torment even though i loved god and loved my fellow man and did good? NO HE WILL NOT!!! if he did he would not be the all merciful the all loving God the all wise God the all just Allah you say he is in the Qu’ran! I have many Musilm friends and know many others too, and most of them and most of my christian friends dont go out teach God to people as they should!

    You are also belittling kindness etc etc…it can take a lifetime to learn how to treat others with peace and respect, to have self control, to be loving and kind…even if you just learnt some of these things and nothing else it would be a great lesson for you!

    According to the Islamic concept ‘everyone born as a Muslim, parents make him/her nonMuslim. Furthermore, according to Qur’an a person ‘ll must b entered into paradise if he believe that God is one (one means only one) no matter with which sect he/she belong to & no matter how much of rebellion he/she is, he/she’ll enter into paradise BUT AFTER REPENTING.     Yes. I’ve proof, Qur’an. The belief of any religious person is based on his/her religious book. Atheist ones have no religious book. If u say reference from religious book isn’t proof, then u r thinking like an atheist only that point.

    • well I am much happier with qu’ran stating as you say that people wil lget a chance to repent on judgement day. however this is the first i heard of it so if you could provide references to the Quranic surahs i would be much obliged! As it says quite clearly all but one sect will go to hell. and dosent say if they repent however even if they are not like me and my companions then they will be spared. Muhammad…even took her to his bed the same night her husband was killed, in violation of his own command, which enjoined the believers to wait until the beginning of the next menstrual cycle in their captive women. Kinana (Safiyya’s husband) was tortured in order to make him reveal his hidden treasure. “Torture him until you extract what he has,” Muhammad ordered al-Zubayr b. al-Awwam. The latter “kindled a fire with flint and steel on his chest until he was nearly dead. Then the apostle delivered him to Muhammad b. Maslama and he struck off his head” (Sirat Rasul Allah p 515). …
    When the prophet was passing the night with Safiyya in a tent, Abu Ayyub took it upon himself to guard him. In the morning, Muhammad saw him and asked him what he was doing there. He replied: “I was afraid for you with this woman for you have killed her father, her husband, and her people…” (Sirat Rasul Allah p517)

    Sounds like a cruel person to me ,s ounds more like he is interested in the treasure then being merciful and loving.

My friend is of 13, was an Atheist till last month but now is a Muslim. I will try answer it in more logical way.. lets know some condition that Islam believes..

    1) Islam believes that every new born baby is sinless,, Innocent..

    3) Allah says that there not a place or time that he has not sent his messenger with his message..

Because Islam considers a baby sinless. this is the glory of Allah.. But this is rather a short coming for Christianity Because Christian belief is that every human being is sinful by nature (The original sin). So a baby is sinful as per Christianity so if she/he dies before knowing who is Jesus then she/he goes to hell.

      yes we believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, but jesus dies on the cross to save us from those sins, so those who die not knowing christ are forgiven because Jesus took the sins of the world on his shoulders. So no no innocent child would go to hell for thee things in the christian faith…the bible says:
      For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.(Romans 6:23)
      We all deserve punishments all have done bad things even from an early age been naughty as children. But God knows your heart

    in the above statement of yours, you yourself is confused.. you either talk about a little baby who does not understand anything but depend on his/her parents or family or you talk about that little baby grows up in a polytheistic society.. both are not same.. for an infant baby I hope I answered your question.. now lets come to this point.. that little baby is growing up now not only physically but also mentally and intellectually… now she grows up in Hindu culture for example so she knows about the gods that her parents taught about.. but is she unaware about Allah? if i consider you are a non-muslim (I am guessing) are you unaware about Allah? Now the message has been sent to everyone… And you know the message and u are matured now to understand and make your won decisions.. now please don’t give an excuse to your parents that they have not teach you..coz Islam believes that every individual is responsible for his own action.. now you tell me what will happen to him/her…

    From the above 3 statements it doesn’t appear that ” child’d never go to Hell.
    While my religion clearly says ”every child is born as a Muslim”.

    Furthermore, Can you see the contradiction in above 3 statements of yours. Firstly every one is a sinful by birth but your Jesus died on cross to save all of you from your sins. So if Jesus had paid for your sin then why there is the question of, “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”

    My Qur’an says My Allah is Most Truthful. He likes Truth. He likes Truthful people. He’ll accept the prays of only that people who pray to Allah. If someone pray to a cow then Y should Allah accept his/her prayers? How can someone get access to Allah if follow the wrong pathway which teaches noting but lies?

      If you have evil thoughts in your heart towards God and knowingly reject him in because you hate godliness then yes , but someone honestly following what they believe is a righteous path will not be punished for it sorry. there are so many paths to take with regards to religion so only your harsh moon god allah would punish people when really the example set forth of your violent religion is alot of terrorism and intolerance and fear.and based on its bad example is not going to convince people , only through fear!

Brother John: Now I believe that you are full of ignorant..first you need to put your ego and prejudice aside.. first I said that Allah will not punish anyone without sending the massage first.. if anyone can prove on the day of judgement that they have not received the message of Islam… Allah will forgive them..but they cant prove because every part of their body will be witnesses. just like u also cant.. coz u know about Islam..so try your best to give this excuse to Allah that u never knew about Islam so u have not accepted it.. try hard to deceive Allah.. good luck..Further more ignorant people always comes up with excuses..live with that…

If he wanted me to believe in islam he would but his power in my heart but when i read the bible my heart sings, and I believe with all my heart that jesus died for my sins and that god loves me and all of us. I have given you warnings to search in your hearts about some aspects of your religion. If you dont want to question anything out of fear then thats fine but god gave you an enquiring mind to question things and to look for the truth he also made you human with plenty mistakes so if he wants to punish you for the way he made you then go and preach that fear.     • how can i be hateful when condemning aspects of a intolerant religion? i am not hateful towards muslims, i have many friends who follow islam. But I have problems with some of the core false beliefs in islam. I’m not the one going around telling people they will go to hell if they dont follow your way, no hindus are going around threatening people with hellfire and torment.

      saying that, yes i have gotten carried away with some of my posts.. and I apologize to you and other muslims if i have been offensive.

      Instead of attacking me like a weak person, why not try to search through your religion and read your hadiths which give a history of your prophet.

        You have read the verses of Qur’an out of their context . You have visited anti-Islamic websites. Without knowing the real meaning of verses & without establishing the facts surrounding it you’re trying to spread hate against another religion. We Muslims take different meaning from our scripture but you non Muslims take different meanings.
