Agniveer meets Pakistani Hindus once again. Shri Sanjeev Newar – founder Agniveer & Dr DK Garg – Head – Education & Knowledge Excellence, went to meet them along with Acharya Jayendra Kumar and Capt Gulati from Noida Arya Samaj on April 24. After interviewing all the children, 25 girls were selected for free education up to graduation at Noida Kanya Gurukul. All of their expenses up to graduation will be borne by Gurukul. This is the first small but very crucial step. We are coordinating with other gurukuls and schools as well so that we are able to provide education for all the children in the refugee camp.
Around 480 Pakistani Hindus are living as refugees in Bijwasan, New Delhi after they were forced to leave Pakistan owing to religious fundamentalism. Details: http://agniveer.com/pakistani-hindus-are-indias-responsibility/
Previously Agniveer organized a free medical camp on April 14, 2013 in which Dr DK Garg and Dr Vivek Arya from Agniveer distributed free medicines. Please visit http://agniveer.com/agniveers-medical-camp-for-pakistani-hindus/for more info.
Agniveer wholeheartedly thanks Noida Gurukul and its governing body for the cooperation and setting a precedence. Agniveer appeals to all to donate for the cause and support Gurukul in this noble Yajna. We humbly appeal to other Gurukuls (specially in Delhi) also to come forth and adopt as many children as they can so that their future could be different than their present.
Our greatest Pranams to Ch Nahar Singh who has been providing them food and shelter all along single-handed.
All of those who have any links and associations in schools or Gurukuls in Delhi region are requested to proactively help getting education for each and every eligible student. Cost of one year education for a student is Rs 24,000. We need to provide for education of around 250 children till graduation.
– Employment for youth – Most of these people are farmers or unskilled labors. And few are also technicians and skilled labors. We sincerely urge all to provide employment to all of them so that they can live with dignity and self-empowerment.
– Living Expenses – A bare minimum living standard with minimal hygiene, sanitation and food would require an expense of around Rs 2 lakh per month.
All who are willing to contribute to this Yajna may donate to Jan Swabhiman Welfare Society through http://janswabhiman.org/donate/ . Please mail clearly stating: PAKISTANI HINDUS. Click below button to make your contribution.
Further, if you have clothes, medicines etc to spare, please do not miss the chance to be a Krishna to dear Sudama.
You can send them to:
Dr DK Garg, 120, Hans Bhavan, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, ITO, New Delhi 110002
If you have additional house or flats to provide for shelter of these families, that would be of great help as well.
1. Agniveer is looking to collaborate with a few more Gurukuls to provide free education till graduation to around 100 children. Our aim is to be able to absorb all children and even a few youths in educational drive.
2. Agniveer is committed to provide financial support as well as support in kind for their decent living.
We have even higher aspirations for these commitments. We hope that overwhelming support of our patrons will help us realize the same. Finally we demand Government of India to grant all of the displaced Pakistani Hindus Indian citizenship. Please visit http://agniveer.com/pakistani-hindus-are-indias-responsibility/ for more info.
